Hotel Dvorec

A hotel with a charming old world vibe. Many of the rooms are in a building directly opposite the main hotel. I would recommend avoiding rooms in the top floor as headroom is impeded by the roof slope. Otherwise rooms are very comfortable and clean. Very nice breakfast with lots of food options. Several very good, reasonably priced restaurants within a short walk.

They did not prepare room for customer. Shower n hand basin gel dispensers were empty. Air con remote was not working, batteries dead. Shower handle flew everywhere when water was turned on. Shower doors did not close properly n bathroom floor was very wet after shower Furniture n room was shabby. They gave me a room in an old building across the courtyard away from the main hotel even though the booking had been made several months before my arrival. The dour reception manager said, sorry no rooms left in the main building 😒 I was literally in the dog house! I heard dogs barking in the building n saw at least two different dogs n their owners. So, probably I was in the dog friendly building. Lol, so I was in the dog house! I love dogs n animals btw. Their website showed amazing spa n sauna facilities and I was looking forward to enjoying them at 27Euros. After checking in, I find out that the spa facilities are still being renovated and are not available yet.

Unprofessional and frustrated staff. The receptionist spoiled my whole day. Avoid this hotel, as they are short of staff and the atmosphere is very negative. The receptionist should remind the customer of the outstanding payment at the check-in as other hotels and lower range accomodation places always do! There was nobody at the reception at 9 am at the rush hour for check outs, so the lobby was jammed by impatient customers who were in hurry to leave the hotel. Disrespectful to customers time and schedules.

Excellent room, breakfast, and staff. The wellness area is good, but a bit too cold - water in one jacuzzi was completely cold and in the other one it was a bit warmer, but not as warm as one would expect.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel. The prices are fair even during the high season. It's absolutely in the middle of Tolmin and next to a bunch of bars and restaurants, including a fabulous little art cafe. The room we got was recently renovated on the second floor, it had modern facilities and a great AC - which is a must in the summer. The breakfast was nice and substantial as well. Finally, the hotel staff was extremely welcoming and polite. We had a great time and we'll definitely come and stay here again - at our next time in beautiful Tolmin. Thanks for a great stay, and see you in the next circle pit ;)

Didn't stay at the hotel but had a coffee at their outside cafe. Great coffee, quick service. Biked here on our way to the train station so also needed to use their restroom which was very clean. Thankfully coffee is easy to understand in any language as our waitress didn't know English, French or Spanish. Our guide spoke Slovenian so all went well.

A solid 4* hotel and possibly the best in town! Well equipped rooms, good breakfast urgent with some regional products, outdoor terrace and friendly and efficient service.

Such a nice hotel - it’s been recently renovated, comfy bed, spacious bedrooms and the AC works perfectly (stayed during summer - so it was essential!). Breakfast has everything you need and the customer service is great. Special thanks to Helenca - the lovely lady who helped us since 2020 and was even willing to share her pizza with us when we checked in late and tired.
