Hotel Dvorec

I liked the hotel quite well. The rooms were very nice and clean. The food was very good (breakfast and dinner). There is even a big bicycle garage in the basement. If I had something negative to say, then I must admit this Hotel is rather pricier than other options.

We had the superior room which is okay from size (but could be a little bit bigger). Personel is kind. Breakfast is good and the hotel is located directly in the city center.

I nice little hotel in the center of Tolmin but not without its issues. Room is missing a kettle/coffee facilities and has so many little lights shining overnight (TV, thermostat etc) Fridge didn’t work. Wifi was very flaky. ||Bike storage is down a steep ramp into the basement but it’s very fancy and seems to be from a previous life as a dance room maybe. ||Breakfast was OK but I cannot recommend dinner. It turned out to be self service buffet and nothing was warmer than tepid. You could have lots but I’m not sure you would really want to fill your boots. ||I sound like the place was awful and it wasn’t - I just want to point out its issues.

This was an outstanding experience. Loved the very large room, the hotel, the history. The front desk staff were very helpful and it was walking distance to the gorge and castle. Compared to other hotels with higher ratings, this hotel is superb.

Such a nice hotel with clean rooms, great breakfast and wellness option, ideally located to explore Soča valley. We really had nice time there

I went there for the wellness center. It was very clean and spacious. There were 4 large saunas of different temp/ humidity levels and an infrared sauna, a cold plunge, salt room and 2 jacuzzis. Staff were very pleasant. Hot water for tea and cold water from the tap and fresh fruit. The temp of the jacuzzis was between 31 and 33 degrees which I found to be a bit chilly. For some it might be fine. They also provide towels and bathrobe, a nice touch. The floor is dedicated to the wellness center and they have 2 massage rooms. It's nice to have such extensive services right in Tolmin. They have two very public shower stalls next to the cold plunge and in the area where the coed lockers are there are two very small showers/ toilet/ sink areas. This was my biggest disappointment. The design was such that the little area was flooded with water. And I find it a bit odd to not have a separate area for men and women and to not have more private options for showering.

Very friendly stuff Professional setup You can't miss a good jacuzzi,cold tab , steam bath, saunas ,hotel Dvorec is situated in the heart of Tolmin and you can find a professional spa on the top floor of the hotel,don't miss a chance, give it a try after a day in the mountains,your body will love it .

We enjoyed our stay here - whilst bike-packing. The reception staff attended quickly to our needs.
