Hotel Eastside

Located a short bus ride outside of St Gallen. We stayed for one night after watching a Euros football match. Hotel is very accessible from the town centre by bus, bus stops are very nearby hotel entrance. The room has all amenities required, it was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative is our room was at the front of the hotel, close to main road. It can be quite loud from the traffic outside if the room window is open so maybe request a room at the back of the hotel if you’re a light sleeper. Not a big problem, just something to be aware of.

stayed here for 2 nights during the womens euros. rooms were spacious and very very clean. had everything we needed too-coffee/water/hairdryer etc. would stay again if was in the area. also gave us a free travel pass which saved us a fortune

Had an incredible weekend stay for my stop in Switzerland after a trip to France.|Pleasant hotel, impeccably clean and a fabulous buffet breakfast. For Switzerland this is really good value. Close to old town, lakes and mountains

Got stiffed by the restaurant manager. Told there was a buffet, we booked a table for two. When we turned up there was no buffet but were assured that "we'll bring out what you want, just like the buffet, ask for whatever you want". That was a lie and we were charged per dish, absolutely not recommend - shame on them

Just outside st.gallen. Easy to reach with public transport.(12 mins) Simple but clean facilities, comfy beds. Breakfast available but we chose to go into town.

Rude, awful service. One of the worst experiences I had communicating with personnel compared to dozens of hotels all around the world. I have booked a late check-in, and the hotel has successfully approved it. But then I called to ensure the late arrival and to add travel with +1 person. I heard the worst accusations in my life: First, they were extremely rude, throwing a phone and telling me that it's very suspicious that I am arriving late or adding another person (none of your business, do your job!!!). Then they asked for the bank card CVV by phone, which should have been a HUGE red flag, but I was stupid enough to do it. By listening to all this and demanding a card, even knowing that provider guarantees my payment to the hotel in case of non-arrival, guess what? They took money and had not prepared a room for two people, no blanket, no towrls, no refund! Recommendation: Any self-checkin machine will do the job and provide service as requested, instead of listening to accusations. It was clean, though.

Super clean comfortable hotel with underground parking, restaurant for evening meal excellent curries freshly cooked, staff so friendly and accommodating. Even if you do not stay in this hotel don’t miss the restaurant. I am giving this accommodation and restaurant 5 stars having travelled in Europe for nearly 4 weeks.

The room was very spacious and is very well decorated. Also, the room had a lovely view. The outdoor seating area is very comfortable and looks good. The WiFi in the room and the hotel was very fast, even with a good number of people connected to it. And the staff was extremely helpful and were friendly throughout my time staying there. Overall, really nice place to stay!
