Nestled in the striking glass pyramid of Parkview Green, this art-filled hotel boasts luxurious, themed suites, impressive artworks, and top-notch service.
"Known for its iconic pyramid shape, Parkview Green FangCaoDi is one of the most eco-friendly towers in Beijing and the first mixed-use LEED Platinum building in mainland China. In addition to shops and galleries, the building houses this contemporary-art-filled boutique hotel, with an impressive collection of works by artists like Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol, Fan Xiaoyan, and Gao Xiaowu and a series of themed suites that are artistic expressions in their own right: The Swiss Chalet Suite, designed by Monique McClintock, includes antler chandeliers, decorative cowbells, and a plush St. Bernard, while the Miami Suite is white-on-white-on-white with a baby grand piano. Take your pick and embrace the kitsch." - CNT Editors

"Even for travelers who try to avoid malls whenever possible, Beijing's Parkview Green—an odd glass pyramid with impossibly high aerial walkways—is rather impressive. Attached to the Parkview Green is the Hotel Éclat. Service is overwhelmingly good—every guest is guided to his or her room by a staffer upon check-in—and the artwork collection is vast, to say the least. The hotel purportedly has the second-largest collection of Salvador Dali paintings in the world, alongside a good collection of modern Chinese artwork. The steel-and-glass paneled design is incredibly futuristic: Rooms are artfully appointed, evoking a certain thematic atmosphere. Floors are also divided by themes, which can feel a bit hokey, but the hotel makes up for it with suites featuring private pools and clear views of downtown."
