Hotel Edelweiss Davos

Really recommend staying here, the rooms are exceptional, the bathrooms were splendid, the general areas were gorgeous and the ambience was mellow. Beware the sauna if u aren’t into nudity (we are English though…), very nice space otherwise. Food was exquisite, and the staff were delightful. Beds were soft and comfortable, especially if you’re sharing with someone else (I wasn’t 😞). Also loreta who served us a lot was amazing at her job and incredibly sweet.

Though modestly rated, this family-operated hotel feels more upscale thanks to its thoughtful modernization and warm hospitality. Perfectly suited for guests seeking quiet, comfort, and genuine Swiss charm, it's frequently praised as excellent value-for-money.

Really cute and quiet spot near the town. You can walk from there to the train station in about 20-30 minutes. The elevator is hardly large enough for 2 people and luggage. |The hotel room looked newly renovated. It was super clean and nicely decorated. The room we had was 308 with a large balcony with 2 lounge chairs and a small table. It is not pictured on their website. |The bathroom was very small but functional. The bedroom was plenty large enough with 2 chairs and a small table. There isn’t a refrigerator but they got us an ice bucket. The staff were extremely nice and pleasant. Breakfast wasn’t much but it hit most of the basics. No cooked eggs to order but there were boiled eggs.

The hotel is nice and the rooms are spacious. However, the 4 parson rooms are in the basement and that means there is noise in the morning and in the evening from the kitchen and the restaurant right above. Being in the basement also means that your view is cars and tiers, and the privacy is low due to the stairs for the entrance being right near the window.

This review is only for the food. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Overall I thought it was really well done. Each dish was nuanced and tasty. The space is decent and the staff excellent.

Wonderful place! We booked same-day, and they waited up for us to arrive late. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, very charming architecture. Breakfast in the morning had very kind staff and good tasting food, lots of options. We’ll be staying here again the next time we’re in Davos!

Just to mention a few names:|- receptionist Ronja went the extra mile to help with all the questions I had. Hotel Edelweiss is a gem! Recently refurbished the interior is modern with neutral colours and extremely comfortable furnishings. We have just returned from a week in the apartment situated on the ground floor. It is quiet and spacious with 2 separate bedrooms furnished with double beds , one of which has a ladder to a third double bed which would suit a teenager or child. There is a spacious sitting /dining room , a well fitted kitchen and a bathroom with over-the-bath shower. The beds are extremely comfortable with down duvets and soft pillows. All was immaculately clean and well presented. Next to the apartment is a large sitting room for all guests with its own library.||After tasting the quality of food on the first evening, we opted to have half board for all of our stay. The food is fabulous and very good value for money with a starter, salad buffet, main and dessert for 25 Chf. Highly recommend this option.||Our thanks must go to the wonderful, caring staff who were so professional and friendly. From the warmth of the reception staff to the smiley ,waiting staff and the talented chef, we felt everyone went out of their way to ensure that our holiday was enjoyable. This is a hotel I can highly recommend and hope to return to in the near future.||
