The staff were extremely friendly and tentative to our needs! We enjoyed our comfortable room with a view of the ocean! This hotel was in walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the ocean. Clean rooms. definitely will stay here again!

Really enjoyed staying at this little gem right in downtown Seward. It Isa very short walk to all the best downtown Seward drinking and dining options. Super squeaky clean, and it appears to have been recently refreshed. Excellent staff at this hotel.

So far it's one of the more decent hotels we've stayed at. Pretty clean and cozy. Had all the amenities we needed. The only thing I absolutely loathed was how loud the air conditioner was. The hotel can get pretty hot in the rooms so we had to crank up the A/C but it was so loud every time it would go on it woke me from my sleep. There was some noise coming from the hallway for a while too. All in all, a pretty good stay, minus those small inconveniences.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! I will say, the lobby was beautiful and rooms would have been fine.... if we had POWER AND HOT WATER. When we checked in, they put us on the 3rd floor in rooms with no windows. Apparently there had been a previous power outage so we had to sit in the lobby and wait 30 minutes for someone to let us into our rooms since there were no key cards. That's right- we could not unlock our own doors. Then we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs because the elevator was out of service. Hotel employees were no help with luggage. My husband ended up doing multiple trips for some older hotel guests attending to haul heavy bags up and down 3 flights of stairs. After dinner, we turned on the water to take a shower and it was ice cold. I've taken cold showers, but nothing like this. The front desk told us 10 minutes, OK no problem. Ran into the maintenance guy on the way back and he said they had "forgotten" to turn on the water heater and it wouldn't be hot until morning. THEN the power goes out. And we had no window. So we packed our bags using our phone flash lights. In the morning, still no hot water and they're telling everyone 30 minutes. Turns out it hasn't worked for 2+ days and they were continuing to tell people 30 minutes 😡. After all this, the hotels response was "This isn't our fault" and we received no discount or accommodation for the trouble. Not even an apology. Horrible customer service.

This is not a good hotel. We stayed here two days while we were visiting Seward and taking an all day cruise. The hotel staff were ok, but young and inexperienced. The walls of the room were very poor, you could hear people walking around and being loud all night long. The heater in our room didn’t work, and although they claim someone came to inspect it after the first night nothing changed. They did not have a space heater so my wife was cold each night. They have a bug problem, and their breakfast is the morning is way overpriced for what they offer. My wife and I loved the cruise, but would not stay in this hotel again.

Google
There are rooms w tiny opaque windows, and which have no AC. No sun or view, with stuffy air. I’d like to know why these rooms exist, and how I was chosen to have one of them? Staff admits there are many complaints. I think they were hoping I was another shrinking violet and wouldn’t complain. Only saving grace was they immediately placed me in a better room when I complained.

Google
The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fabulous. They made my mom’s 60th birthday and first time in Alaska a complete success. Our rooms were very clean and the breakfast was wonderful! Special thanks to Yolanda, Burak, and Chris. You guys were fantastic!

Google
First Hotel we've stayed in that didn't have coffee in the lobby! I won't use the in-room tiny coffee makers as they are typically never cleaned. On weekends they offer coffee starting at 7am with the buffet, but we had to be on our way well before that.

Yelp
I stayed in room 312. The room had everything I needed -- a very comfortable bed, tv, balcony view of the water, iron & ironing board, microwave and refrigerator. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the noise. It gets very loud around 7:00 am due to the open lobby. My room overlooked the lobby and the noise woke me up. I got in late and was hoping to sleep in -- nope. If I had a room that was not open to the lobby it would have been perfect.

Yelp
We booked this hotel for a one week Overland vacation after cruise. It was about as bare bones as you could get. The front desk was unhelpful and passive aggressive, especially Christopher. We are now sitting in our room with two twin beds overlooking the street even though we paid for upgrade and first class Lodging through the Tours group. We actually tried to check in at 11 o'clock and then again at 2:30, and then by the time we got here at 5:30, this is where they put us. Save your money, go elsewhere. This is a complete joke.

Yelp
When I stayed there, I was able to get a corner room 303. It was a good size room with great views. Comfortable mattress, soft sheets. In the morning, saw moose outside. Free parking. A good restaurant located right across the street. I was happy with my stay here.

Linnea F.

Yelp
This is a no frills hotel, which is perfectly fine for me! However, a few basic things were lacking. The room had not been vacuumed and there were crumbs and debris of some sort in both the room and bathroom. The lightbulb above the bathroom sink was out, and the chain lock on the door was missing. My parents stayed in an interior room that didn't have a window, and was very hot. There is AC, but it dripped quite a bit. Their room was also missing a blow dryer. I appreciate that they have guest laundry in the basement--much needed after all our time in Alaska. We did not try the breakfast, but it appeared to be a typical hotel breakfast, except you have to pay for it.

Lindsey D.

Yelp
Would not recommend. We were placed in a room that was practically in the lobby. Walls are extremely thin so we heard noise from the lobby constantly, day and night. Avoid at all costs, stay somewhere else

Felipe L.

Yelp
Great location, horrible service. They have given up and a group of students is in charge, so nothing works. Your room will not be ready at 4PM, your room will not be cleaned unless you request it, and they will not let you know you have to do that.... and they cant refund or discount anything in exchange. But we paid close to 300 USD a night. Not ok. Im sure you can do better in the area. Location is great and its a trusted brand, so you make the mistake of staying here....avoid

Tamara D.

Yelp
5 stars for customer service. I wasn't expecting much considering it's Seward and there aren't really any known chain hotels. There's a ton of hostels and tiny Alaskan-y hotels, but with a toddler, we wanted to know what to expect. We wanted clean, bright, lots of staff, free breakfast and amenities and we got it. Rooms opened up earlier than 4pm so we got a room a lot sooner than expected. The location is perfect. It's right across the street from the Seward SeaLife Center, a coffee/lunch place and the Salmon Sisters shop. Doesn't get any more Alaskan than that. And it's blocks away from the park with bbq pits, playgrounds and the skate park. You can pretty much walk all the way through town in minutes. Also, across the street is a really nicely rated (and expensive) restaurant open at dinner time- if you can get in. There was a line before opening. But being across the street, you might get to be first in line. The room was clean, there's air conditioning (remote control), the bathroom was clean, there's shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, soap and lotion at the sink, lots of space to put your stuff away, tv, and they have laundry if you have time to wait around to do yours (we didn't). Breakfast was better than expected. The regular eggs, sausages, bacon, make your own waffle station, boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, juice and coffee, fruit, and an omelette chef to make an omelette for you any way you want. It gets SUPER busy though so go early or be prepared to fight a crowd of guests. Overall, we would totally come back again. I would look forward to it.

Yelp
The hotel/room was clean with AC and internet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. We arrive early and left Seward after check out time but we're able to leave our luggage there until we were ready to check in/leave Seward.

Marcelo R.

Yelp
Clean, friendly staff, good for families and people that would rather a functional and clean hotel stay instead of a "charming" experience somewhere else.

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
At first I was not impressed when I heard we were staying at a BW. I was pleasantly surprised! Candace who checked us in was super friendly & went above & beyond with customer service. Rebecca at the front desk went out of her way to find my husband a razor :) Crystal in the dining area should get a raise!!!! The quality of the food was excellent & she worked her butt off with a smile!!! Thank You

Stuart M.

Yelp
Broken elevator, clanky air conditioner, rock hard bed. I will say the shower had a good hard spray. Complementary breakfast provides the calories, but not the flavor. Way overpriced for a hotel of this caliber.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
We have been staying in this place for 20 years. We have never had bad service and we only stay one night because it's worth the money to not have to wake up at 2:30AM to drive to Seward for a 6AM check-in for the charter. The location is great, it's walking distance from the Sealife Center (if you are from out of state and have extra time, please come to the SeaLife Center in 2020, they need money) and a few good places to eat. They have the normal measures for COVID. Why only four stars? Well, it's fairly well equipped to stay in for more than one night but I haven't ever tested that. The toilets are slow to flush, the rooms have a weird vinegar smell I never noticed before. Maybe the smell is the new cleaning protocol they have, not sure. Oh, and we could hear every flush above us. Really, it's a great place for a short stay. The service is great, just like almost everywhere in Seward!! I wish Yelp could give us half stars, 4.5 for this place for sure!

Sandra C.

Yelp
Great location! Staff courteous and accommodating. Room had everything we needed including coffee pot, mini frig and microwave. Our room had small balcony with view of water and mountains.

Jen K.

Yelp
Lodging options in Seward aren't stellar and we liked the location of this Best Western. We ended up with an interior room which offered no window. This made the room feel quite "cabin fever" and with it being unseasonable warm (and therefore hot since most places, including this one, do not have A/C), we did not enjoy being in our room in the evenings at all. The hotel itself smelled funny inside. Overpriced for what you get, but generally on par with lodging costs for the area. Just know that you'll spend a pretty penny for low quality lodging, if you book here.

Phillip Y.

Yelp
From all of our hotel stays, I would have to say that this place has the better of all breakfasts. BW Plus Edgewater is a 5 minute drive from downtown Seward but you still get a great view of the bay. Plus, you are a few minutes from the Alaska Sealife Center. The parking is a bit confusing but we were told that Seward doesn't follow the posted signs. So, we just parked on the street with no issue. It might be harder after 6pm but we found parking across the hotel as well. When we checked in, the lobby front desk clerk provided us with 2 water bottles and trail mix for each room. I gave the king bed bay view to my parents which was larger. My wife and I got the queen bed mountain view which was smaller. I am not sure why my room was more expensive with almost half the space as the king room. Anyways, we were happy with rooms since I made last minute change from 1 to 2 nights. The hotel just started their summer season so the rooms were starting to get sold out. The AC unit was very noisy but otherwise we managed to get through the night fine. The bathroom was extremely small and the sink was outside facing the bed. There was a microwave and fridge which we used. The breakfast was continental with hot food selection like scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. So, we were happy with the wide selection plus 3 types of fruit (red and granny smith apple, orange, and banana). There was a piano in the middle of the lobby and thank goodness, nobody played on it during our stay. The front desk provided good recommendation for dinner. Overall, this was a decent stay aside from the noisy AC and small bathroom.

Jen M.

Yelp
Great location within walking distance of terrific restaurants and shops. Average hotel, decently updated but over-priced (Alaskan summer, so no surprise there). Nice to have breakfast option. However customer service was exceptional; Candace was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure our family got neighboring rooms and had our needs met. Given that we're just coming out of Covid times, great customer service truly stands out, thank you Candace!

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Seward, especially if you can score an off-season rate. (We paid $98/night for 2 queen beds and a view of Resurrection Bay, in early May) This place was pretty recently turned into a Best Western property and they took out all the stops to make it nice, clean and new-looking. Our room had a pillow-top bed, HBO, a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, bathtub, iron, free wifi.... and a great big continental breakfast with fresh waffles :-) There's also a sauna and jacuzzi on the third floor, surrounded by windows -- a wonderful place to hang out on cold nights.

Tom M.

Yelp
The only thing I can come up with for this place was tourist trap. The room was $180 a night and it was obvious that it was a seasonal thing to rip off the tourists. Ridiculously overpriced. They did have a very nice continental breakfast but if I'm paying that kind of money to stay there I would at least like some real half and half for my coffee. None of that Coffee Mate crap. The stuff will kill you if you make a habit of it. Not that cream is exactly good for you but given the choice, I'll take cream please. The room was crampy. It included a refrigerator, iron, and coffee pot but no other amenities. The vanity was outside the bathroom and very small. Also, we could not figure out how to control the heat, which was a serious irritant because it woke us up in the middle of the night kicking off the blankets. And that annoying light on the TV that seemed to illuminate the entire room. In general, this room was not conducive to sleep. The bathroom door squeaked. Really? One redeeming quality was they had a beautiful baby grand piano in the lobby and we were fortunate enough to have someone in our party who can play the piano... well even. There's a lot about this place to be unhappy about and we were. Oh well, I don't have to live there.

Mary B.

Yelp
My favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. The folks that work there are friendly and bake cookies that make the whole hotel smell homely. They have rooms that look out over the water and we watched a humpback whale swim in and spout water and flip their tail out. They use less single use toiletry items for dispensers helping keep down waste. 10/10 would recommend.

Debbie H.

Yelp
I'd stay here again. Nothing special but a good solid place to lay your head for a night or two. Right on the bay. My room was clean, comfortable and while it had a 70ish vibe. did the job. The fireplace in the lobby is nice on a chilly evening. Breakfast was largely a carb load. I would have appreciated the option for at least hard boiled eggs. By day 2, I kept food in my mini fridge and cooked in the in-room microwave (which were both welcomed additions).

Juliet D.

Yelp
Love the food and staff is awesome. Highly recommend to all. There breakfast is awesome.

Lard Belly E.

Yelp
I usually go to Seward Hotel across the road, but the only room available was a king for $289. Pass. We got one of the last double rooms that had an interior view for $180 instead of $200 as we were Alaskans. The clerk on the phone was really nice. Rooms were comfortable and clean, though both our coverlets had some stains. Big shout out to Emily the room attendant. I hobbled out Saturday morning in search of ice as I had sprained it the day before and found out it was located a floor below my room. I made a noise of despair and she was like I will get it for you. She was a lifesaver. I will return again. People who complain about the summer prices should realize this is a tourist town and will charge rates that will carry the business through the off season. Will come again.

Allison R.

Yelp
This place is hands down most disgusting place I've ever worked at. The cleaning supplies don't even clean anything. This place would not pass any health inspection. 10/10 don't recommend staying there what do ever. If I could click 0 stars I would.

Chris C.

Yelp
Full of outdated decor and weird smells. The vanity and bathroom are hilariously small. Breakfast was mediocre. And like most places we visited in Seward, the staff was polite but not friendly. But it gets the job done and the price was reasonable.

Jojo M.

Yelp
Best Western Plus Edgewater Hotel Seward, Alaska I've stayed at this hotel as well as the hotel across the street. This hotel is more updated and I prefer it more then the hotel across the street. Seward hotels get full fast in the summer (tour season months). If you can avoid booking last minute I definitely would book ahead to secure accommodations, because if the hotels in town are sold out its a far drive to the next town. I posted a number of photos of the room to give you an idea of what they look like and the area the hotel is located in. The sink/ vanity area might be small but the DVD player is a nice addition to the room as well as the microwave and fridge. I saw this hotel received some low scores but my experience was no where near a bad one. I had great service however on a side-note I am a Diamond Best Western Frequent Stay Card holder so it may or may not have something to do with the great service I received. My room was not an upgraded room but it was the last room available the night I stayed and I was happy with the room, my stay, the service and the location. I had no troubles finding parking on the street and I was able to walk to the water and the aquarium within 5 minutes. I had to drive to the boat launch harbor area where my Kenai Fjords Tour left from but that drive was only about 5 minutes from the hotel. There are a number of different restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There's a large grocery store a ten minute drive from this hotel to purchase snacks, boat motion sickness medication, ice, food and beverages. Keep your eyes open when getting to Seward there are frequent eagle sightings over head. Offers great opportunities to get a great picture of an eagle. I had a wonderful stay at this Best Western Plus Hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

Jim M.

Yelp
It's a Best Western - nothing to write home about. The rooms are clean and the service was ok. The front desk was very helpful in making suggestions and assisting in any other way they could. The location of the hotel is close to downtown, with a nice view of the water. Breakfast was typical.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Three stars, because it is a Best Western and it costs and an arm and a leg to stay here. Okay, I know, it is in a tourist town... but I am willing to pay more for something a bit more luxurious if given the option. The breakfast tastes horrible. However, the staff was super nice and helpful. Not the most professional, but I am pretty down to earth. I can't complain about the location. We were on the third floor and able to open our sliding door curtains and look right out onto the water. We also walked to a lot of the restaurants which were located just around the hotel. If you can bear to pay high prices for low quality to be in Seward in the high tourist season, stay here. It's not so bad.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
This hotel was extremely disappointing. First, they did not bother to include a housekeeping service. Apparently, keeping my pajamas on the bed was enough of a deterrent for them to not bother to make our beds. Overall, We have traveled through Alaska for about a week, staying in a variety of hotels- including other Best Westerns. This is easily the worst hotel. We planned our trip and booked our hotels about 9 months in advance. Despite that, we got a shitty room on the first floor overlooking the parking lot. After requesting a different room from hotel staff, we were very rudely told that it was impossible. Despite this not being advertised on the website we booked through, apparently this type of room needed to be booked in advance. Apparently you are not rewarded for foresight at these hotels. The customer service also leaves much to be desired.

Lee N.

Yelp
The room is nice, but the staff is grumpy even the front desk manager, I believe his name is Curtis. Want to use the laundry facility? Good luck because there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers. And you have to wait for the hotel housekeeping staff to finish their personal laundry while they're upstairs cleaning your rooms. Dryers are $2.00 every 15 minutes and do not work well. Be prepared to spend over $15. Per load. Want to use the business center while you're waiting for your laundry? Good luck with that too because it doesn't work. That Blue light on the tv when it's off is going to be a problem while trying to sleep, it's super bright. Paying $142 for an $80 hotel. Boo! #Notsohappy

Marvin T.

Yelp
Best Views! Friendly Staff! Also free use of the gym across the street, which ROCKS!

C B.

Yelp
Overpriced, but probably on par for tourist town. Decent enough hotel... No complaints. Friendly front desk staff. Kind-of weird balconies... They open to the interior atrium. Really good breakfast. Our favorite part.

Curtis T.

Yelp
Awesome hotel love the staff and the super clean rooms. And that breakfast is fantastic the omelet station is cool better than most free breakfasts.

Weilun C.

Yelp
We stayed there 6/15/2012 - 6/17/2012. hotel is very clean, beds were very comfortable. everyone I have met worked so hard there. it is a very nice best western in my opinion. however, these are the things I did not like, * we had the rooms on first floor, and I can hear the piano playing very well. * I really wish the van service would take us to the Safeway grocery store.

Ben F.

Yelp
The place is ideally located within their 'Old Downtown" & next to the Alaska Sealife Center with stunning views of the Resurrection Bay. It may well explain their higher than regular rate per night. The rooms are little cramped because it seemed to be remodeled from an older building site back in the early 1900s. The sink are outside the bathroom which reminiscent of the old western lodgings with a bowl of water used to wash oneself. They serve a sumptuous "free" breakfast daily which account for probably a savings of $60 for a family of 4. Also, Candace proudly bakes her fresh cookies in the afternoon & well into the evening, greeting guest that are checking in with a rich aroma shouting "welcome home."!

Hilary G.

Yelp
The Best Western in Seward feels like a lodge as it has that homey feeling and a nice large common area with chairs and a fireplace. There are nice views of the mountains from the room and the balconies are nice. There are fridges and microwaves in every room and the bed is fairly comfortable. The continental breakfast is included. The best touch is the hot tub! There is even a view from it. I would stay here if I come back to Seward. The hotel is quite close the SeaLife Aquarium which worked for me since I had a conference there. It is also close to restaurants and shops.

Violet J.

Yelp
This hotel has some issues. To start, I was assigned a room on the first floor. Once I entered the room I noticed directly outside the window a little cottage. The cottage is literally less than 100 ft. from the room's window. That was a problem because as I looked out the window there was a man, and his dog, standing at the side of the house with a clear view to the hotel room! Ok, I thought this was a little creepy. So I decided to close the curtains which made the room very dark! I like sunlight. So I attempt to turn on the TV with no luck. Called in for help and couldn't believe how difficult it was to simply turn in a TV with a remote! I couldn't stand being in the dark and didn't feel comfortable with the next door neighbors so I asked for another room. The front desk said "well there's a curtain in there". Yes, there is I replied, but I don't want to sit in the dark." So, they were accommodating and let me switch rooms. In the second room I couldn't get the TV to come on. So, i settled for no TV. The bathroom is too tiny and the sink/vanity sits outside of the main bathroom-kind of an odd set up. This hotel has some issues. While in the lobby i could her a few other guest complain about their room's TV and heater, AC. So glad I only had a one night stay. Couldn't wait to get out of there!

Kizna L.

Yelp
Nice staff. Came off the train depot and the hotel van was already there waiting. We got in way before checkout so they got the room as quick as they could do we didn't have to wait until 4pm. They kept our bags in the lobby so we can grab lunch while we waited. Hotel is in a good location and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the bay

Frank G.

Yelp
Good Prices, Breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, orange juice, milk. Very good hotel. Very quiet.

Mike R.

Yelp
Would not stay here again. Got a room 9 months in advanced and when we got there they gave us a "lovely" room over looking a vacant lot and cement. Hotel staff was very rude. Normally, I love best western, but so far, this has been the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Plus, the room smells like old microwavable pizza, which, though it evokes wonderful college nostalgia, is not part of a pleasant hotel experience.

Mira S.

Yelp
The room was insanely overpriced, But in looking online I didn't have a lot of options for my dates in Seward. I guess its pricy because they close for the winter, and because it can be. I wish id looked into campi options, because there's a campground about a block away right on the water. The staff was nice, the included wifi and continental breakfast were convenient, as were the microwave and mini-fridge that i think come standard in the rooms, and I liked the location, about 2 blocks from downtown, but not right in downtown, so it was quiet. The shuttle only leaves once an hour, so you may spend some time waiting on either end, but it'll pick you up anywhere in Seward any time. The rooms have DVD players and there are DVDs to borrow in the lobby. There's a tiny, old looking public computer. Continental breakfast was very basic, but they had fruit, and a banana Belgian waffle hit the spot. The room was tiny, smaller than some rooms I've had in NYC, and not much less expensive. The bathroom was really tiny, and was just the toilet and tub, as the sink was right next to the sink. Oh, and while i was checking in someone else asked if there wash hot tub, and the front desk staff said there wasn't, so I can't say I knows lot about it, but I'm not sure what the reviewer who praised the hot tub was dunking in.

Greg F.

Yelp
Wow has this been a disappointment. They left us at the cruise terminal for 2 hours and 15 minutes and then they promised a roll away bed and failed to deliver. The staff is young, inexperienced and (although very NICE) completely unhelpful. I don't get how they can survive here except for the fact that there are very few places to stay. Is $300 per night pricey?

Neil G.

Yelp
Complimentary breakfast. Close to Sealife Ceenter and the water front. There are several restaurantes nearby.

Agent O.

Yelp
We got a room with a very nice view. The hotel room bed was very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here if I had to visit Seward again.

Fremont G.

Yelp
Extremely expensive...the most expensive I have ever paid for a Best Western at more than $300 per day!!! Good location and nice service. Room sizes vary, so if you are travelling with kids ask for the larger room when you reserve. Price/day is sky-high when compared to similar Best westerns during same peak summer month of July. And there is no parking available other than street parking. Smaller rooms have the sink outside the room which may be useful and help everyone get ready faster. Overall, if you HAVE to stay at Seward you may have no choice since the other hotels are even more expensive. Cheaper option may be to rent an RV from Anchorage for the stay at Seward. We saw at least 200 of them parked within walking distance from this hotel. If you think you have no choice but to stay here to go on the Major Marines cruise, consider going on the one from Whittier which is calmer and better and within commute distance from Anchorage.

Zachary C.

Yelp
Let me preface this review by saying the hotel is in decent shape, the people are nice as pie and the location is great. However, for the price, things could be a little better (nicer soap/shampoo, little better continental breakfast items).

Tracey B.

Yelp
I was torn on whether to stay by the harbor in Seward or closer to the downtown area where the Edgewater is. Very happy I chose to stay at the Edgewater. The hotel was so close to restaurants and shopping and right on the water. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom and vanity area were not extremely large but I wasn't in Alaska to attend a beauty contest, so the space was sufficient. Great staff! Very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Kathleen Q.

Yelp
Great location for fishing or local shopping, Clean Hotel. My husband and I were traveling to Seward for halibut fishing, and so we chose the Best Western Edgewater as it is located a couple of blocks from the docks. The hotel is serene, with soothing music playing in the lobby, and nice scents being released. (possibly to offset the scents of the fishing town). (-; The room was comfortable, with a nice balcony overlooking Resurrection Bay. Good Wi Fi signal. Cozy bed. Clean. We thought it was a clever decision for the hotel to install dispensers in the shower and near the sink, which contained shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Those who like to bring home the little bars and containers will not be a fan, but we thought it was convenient and never had to worry about running out. The air conditioner needed some maintenance, as the condenser was very loud and whiny. We had to shut off the air and only turn on the fan, leaving the balcony door open, to be able to sleep. The free breakfast was well stocked with many choices. From hot eggs, sausage and potatoes...to muffins, Danish, fruit, toast, cereals (hot and cold) and choice of beverages (hot and cold). Our only recommendation to improve on this, would be to have the breakfast start at 5:00 a.m. instead of 6:00 a.m. to accommodate those that are going to be fishing. The charters and boats typically leave around 6:00, and as such, you are not able to benefit from the breakfast. The rates are high, but comparable to other hotels in this location.

Yelp
This place is a disaster, they do not care about any of their guests, they have no clues about how to provide good customer service and make sure that their guests are happy and leave with a good memory so they can come back.we have talked to few front desk staff and we were treated very poorly and could not get anywhere. They would not even let us talk to their manager. we ask the front desk if we could check out 3 hours late for the second day and they absolutely refused to work with us and not only they charge us a full day for the second day they overcharged us by additional $ 68.00. when we tried to reason with them for why the extra charge ? they said that was a new rate and so for about 3 hours late check out they charged us a total of $188.00.what a rip-offs. they also threaten us with calling police on us.this place is small and over priced for what they charge. very poor customer service , would not recommend them to any body.
