Booked a 4-night stay in July for a long weekend in Paris. Selected from a list on a website, which combined flights and hotel costs. Was aware that the cost on the website was vastly different from the advertised price for a room at the hotel on the hotel's website. This difference was frankly ridiculous in terms of how much lower the cost was when booked via a travel website than what the hotel's website and on-site advertised rates were, i.e. basic room Hotel advertised price = 480 Euros per night for a Classic room and approx. this charge for the whole 4 nights in total on the travel website. As it was, we added breakfast and arrived after about 2 hours of travel on public transport from the airport. Plenty of updates in advance from the hotel, asking if we wanted to upgrade our stay, as well as generic advice about attractions in the area. Easy check-in and lovely room. The Tea/Coffee arrangement wasn't ideal as the tea was all flavoured and the pods for coffee weren't easy to understand how to use with the coffee machine. The dressing gowns and flip flops were good, as was the air con in the room, though you couldn't reduce the temp below 22c for some reason in the digital thermostat. Only one side of the bed had a closet, and the closet door opening operation was overly complicated in terms of the door shape. A nice reception area with games available and useful umbrellas for guests. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional and well worth the additional cost. We failed to bring swimming costumes, so we didn't make use of the spa facilities, which was a shame. Great hotel location, and I would be happy to stay here again.
