The experience happened with my son, he went with his friend to use the swimming pool as he is visiting his home country for few weeks, so he called to hotel to ask about the availability to use the swimming pool and if he can visit with his friend, upon arrival he went to the reception and he was told where to go and pay at the door to get to the pool, to his surprise went as he arrived the agent by the door who by the way thinks he owns the hotel denied him and his friend entry to the pool and the reason was because he felt like it not to let them in. My son was disappointed by the treatment he received and no valid reason was given to him to why he couldn’t use the pool. The agent simply didn’t like my son and his friend and that is discrimination and racism the upper management need to step up and teach their staff members about customer service. Very disappointing and we will be making a formal complaint against this agent .

My recent stay at Hotel El Djazair was satisfactory, though there were a few areas that could be improved. The hotel's location is one of its key strengths, as it is centrally situated and provides easy access to major attractions and transport options in the city.||The room I stayed in was adequately sized, though somewhat dated. The furniture and decor seemed worn, and while the room was generally clean, there were a few areas that could have used more attention. The bed was comfortable enough, but the heating system in the room was not particularly effective, which made the overall comfort level lower than expected.||Service from the staff was polite but could have been more attentive. At times, it seemed that the front desk staff were not as responsive as they could have been, especially when dealing with specific requests.||Breakfast was decent, but the selection was limited compared to other similar establishments, and it lacked variety. I also encountered issues with the Wi-Fi, as it was slow and inconsistent throughout my stay. Additionally, some of the advertised amenities, such as the gym and pool, were either unavailable or in need of repair.||While Hotel El Djazair offers good value in terms of location, it does fall short in some areas such as maintenance and service. It is an acceptable choice for a short stay, but those seeking modern amenities and higher standards of service might want to consider other options.

Except for location and the fact that it’s a historic hotel with beautiful gardens, this should not get more than 3 stars ( perhaps not even ) . Rooms disgusting and very outdated.ac from the 70s. On top of that in a Muslim country this hotel does not allow Muslim women with burkini to swim in their swimming pool! Discrimination against a majority! Tried to talk to a manager with no luck cause they don’t care about their guests. This is shameful . Don’t waist your money go to Al Aurassi.

It's a Peace of art and love, the best customer service you can get. I can't talk about the view and the location, because it's a a place from Haven. Very friendly and helpful people. I really recommend that place. It's a high level. It's one of the places that I have ever seen.

If you're fasting don't go to this hotel otherwise they will refuse to serve you dinner as it happened to me I arrived at the hotel a couple minutes before time to break My fast and I asked about the restaurant and their menu and I got told I can't eat anything until 9pm which is the time their restaurant opens.

A high-end hotel establishment with international services and luxurious figures. The hotel’s history extends back 80 years or more. It was where famous people with international reputation stayed, such as Victor Hugo, De Gaulle, Boumediene, and Digne. It offers oriental dishes and gastronomy.

This Hotel is NOT five stars!!! It’s totally run down and the worst is the staff attitude. They’re only interested in attending the drinkers. I noticed some reviews said the same thing. There were no water in the room, so I went to fill up my bottle during the breakfast time. The supervisor stopped me saying it’s only for the guest. Well I’m your guest! Because my flight leaves at 7am in the morning, I requested a packed breakfast. The front desk manager said “we don’t provide packed breakfast”. I said you can just gave me a bottle of water and bread now, so I don’t have to bother you in the morning. He said no. They’re so rude! Also the breakfast is very basic. My 3-star hotel in Constantine is much better!!!It was a big mistake to stay in this dumpster. The place needs serous renovation.
