Brilliant price for somewhere right in the middle of Albarra. Good breakfast offered for 3.50 euro and there is the use of a kitchen for 4 euro a day. We also had an absolutely silent fridge in our room. Very comfortable beds and bedding and service always super nice and efficient. We were on a climbing trip and it definitely helped us relax and recover each night staying there. It's next to a staircase right up to the plaza major and the park. Really affordable if done in advance, a hotel like this would be several times more expensive in a major city. Having the kitchen available meant we could keep costs down by not eating out all the time.

We went for New year, only to find the town (and the hotel) practically deserted. The welcome from Sara was warm and sincere, and we were given one of the best rooms in the hotel. The views from all the front rooms are spectacular, looking up at the cathedral and the old town. Parking across the road couldn't be handier, and it's no more than 3 or 4 minutes walk into the town centre. Bear in mind it's on the main road through the town, but on both occasions we've stayed in this hotel, it hasn't been a problem. With the high altitude and the steep streets, you'll sleep well in Albarracin no matter what!! The hotel was immaculately clean, and it was obvious that they are trying hard, even in this most difficult of times. There were no other hotels in the old town open, and with 2 rooms occupied over New Year, this shows the devotion to the business which Sara the proprietor obviously has. The room was spacious with a huge bed, a seating area, a fridge and small balcony. The bathroom was also very comfortable and the shower was great. The hotel wasn't advertised in the usual booking sites, so I'd recommend contacting the hotel directly by email or through their website as we did. Emails were answered quickly and clearly, and it couldn't have been easier. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay in Hotel El Gallo, and we'll definitely be going back. 100% recommended!!

Next to main road and near city, center 5 minutes walking. To 50 meters outside car park by payment, 4 Euros for 24 houres. Old building but confortables rooms and facilities, cheap breakfast available (3,50 Eur ). Very difficult contact with reception by phone. Cheap budget. Interesting option in Albarracin. No problem to pay by credit card.

Good location just outside old town. Big clean room with fridge. Very nice modern bathroom. Free parking in front. At night with open window you could hear the river running thru...very peaceful.

Great Hotel in a beautiful location. Reasonably priced for March and a big plus it is dog friendly. Views from balcony show the castle and the church with great views of the houses all with balconies

Came here for the view from the window, and stayed for the food. One of the busiest places in Albarracin, meaning good food and beer.
