Agree the rooms are spacious. We are here in low season and everything is (very) slow. Rooms are clean but dusty, make sure you get a room to your liking. Plenty of hot water. Staff both in the hotel and in the restaurant are very accommodating and friendly. Pizzas in the evening were a welcome event. My son loved the pool table. Cannot comment on the surfing activities as we were just here for the beach and relaxation. Would recommend but check the rooms first.

This was a neat place. I enjoyed the courtyard and the restaurant very much. There were rolling power outages, but I'm not sure that had anything to do with the hotel. The rooms are adequate. The kitchenette in the room wasn't very clean, but we never intended to use it. Be aware that this is a four story hotel with no elevators. I appreciated the free wi-fi.

We were staying there for almost 3 weeks - on windsurfing holidays. ||Hotel is well maintained, nice and clean.||Stuff is super friendly, always willing to help, regardless of a problem. They even provided me with medication free of charge.||||There is a very good restaurant in a hotel (Pastimar), where you can get very good food and if you have some special wish there will do their best to accommodate it. ||||The only drawback during our stay were daily wifi problems, but as we were informed, it was telco issue that affected the whole town.||||Eduardo, Maria, thank you for you hospitality!||Looking forward to coming back.

We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We had the top room with kitchen that was on the road. Even though the traffic was busy early in the morning we adjusted to sleeping early and waking early. The views from the kitchen lounge area was excellent. Found the large local markets with all the fresh produce you could want with a tottus near by. Parades, music, fishing, surfing ands lots of local restaurants at a low price. ||Give Pacasmayo a visit, if surfing is not on your calendar just spend a few days with the locals.

We stayed 2 nights/3 days. Wifi was a nightmare. We were forced to ask to the hostel in front their password, furthermore the computers room was not accessible too!! No possibility to rent surf material. Staff not very friendly. |Positive points : good location, rooms cleaned every days |However according to the reputation and price we were waiting a better service

Spent 10 days here on a kite/surf trip. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Safe places for gear storage. Phenomenal place for kiting waves. Friendly staff are always available to help organize side trips. Highly recommend!

I think I was in Pacasmayo during the off season (august) and Hotel El Mirador seemed to be one of the only places that was open/had people staying there. It was a little more upscale than I usually stayed but the price was still affordable and the accommodation was great. There is pool, fussball, ping pong and local favourite Lucky Toad available in the common area as well as a plethora of hammocks. The restaurant is great, possibly best in town, so no need to go too far.

This place is great, the rooms are simple yet clean, they have someone come in every day to make sure things are tidy. They have some cool amenities like the pool and ping pong tables, laundry area, and the common grounds are well-kept. Also, big props go to the owner Eduardo for helping me with a potential disaster regarding my luggage and a certain bus company. He called them to make sure my baggage would be in Pacasmayo when I arrived, and it was. The only thing I would like to see improved would be the Wifi in the rooms...sometimes it's good, sometimes not so much. Nothing that a few wifi extenders couldn't fix. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Pacasmayo, it's a great spot at a great price!
