A group of 4 couples we stayed at El Molino during Carnaval weekend to escape the noise of the city. We took two cars. It was a very quiet clean place. We had the two cabins reserved which were lovely. Our tours with guide were included in our package price. The food was simple Bolivian meals well prepared and hot. Breakfast could be prepared and served better since other than us there were other big groups and the food ran out fast. The only downside was that the hotel is across a small river and it rained so much the river rose and we had a hard time crossing two mornings because it was high and very fast. I don’t think this happens often but problem was solved by our guide coming with 4x4s to fetch us. OTHERWISE we had an awesome time. Being able to build a campfire and sit outside (when rain stopped) was beautiful and the stars and quiet were therapy. Also if you enjoy birds or birding we saw many beautiful species.

Booked an all inclusive 3 day trip departing from Cochabamba. The hotel has good beds and the location has a nice view with a big lawn. The hot water wasn't functioning very well and food wasn't as good as what they served in their restaurant in the center of the city (which was excellent according to Bolivian standards). The organisation of the visits was very good and I liked all the guides they worked with.

Having read the previous reviews on El Molino I was a bit unsure about contacting them but from the moment I did until the moment we left I am glad we did. Rigo responded to my emails very quickly and was able to arrange a Toro Toro tour starting from Cochabamba at short notice. Everything went very smoothly and we had a great tour. The hotel was clean and set in a lovely location, the staff were friendly and the food good. Plenty of blankets so nice and warm at night. Best toilet paper in our three weeks in Bolivia!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days during New Year's Eve as part of a service provided by a travel agency. The rooms are just fine and it has a nice common area behind what it's called reception, but the customer service is a total disgrace, there wasn't any staff member who could help us at reception over our entire stay. The dinner room or "restaurant" is just a saloon with a few tables and no cutlery or set whatsoever and 2 cholitas that cook and serve the meals that are fairly disappointing. The last day of our stay we got a beef and egg sandwich in a plastic plate... the property is 2km away from the town and in the other side of a river but there is no bridge to cross it so you can only do it by car. We were never advised that in the town only 1 mobile phone provider has coverage and the hotel does not have internet connection let alone wifi... you will be left without any connection to the world without any warning (which is perfect if that's what you want but pretty inconvenient if not). I wouldn't recommend this hotel since it was just a rip off for us and surely for the other guests as well.

I stayed here with nine family members and some of us, like me, had a truly positive experience while others hated it. The place could use some improvements- especially in communication. The owner lives a few hours away and has left a young lady in charge that is overwhelmed, and some women who don't speak much Spanish (and no English, which I wasn't expecting anyway) So, for example, when we arrived, we asked if dinner would be served that evening and we were told yes. When we came back after a long hike, we asked for some dinner and were told, "You asked about it, but didn't say you wanted it" So we had to go find some food in the town, that was pretty much closed. In the end, they did find some food for us, and didn't charge us the full price for a meal. ||The rooms vary in newness. Some had hot water, some did not. ||All in all, it is a cheap place to stay for a couple of nights, close to Torotoro town. It's clean, and the grounds are nice.

It is a very nice place that could have some small improvements like variety in breakfast offerings, closet needs some furniture and needs improvement in the bathrooms.
