Hotel El Palmeral

El Palmeral is a great little hotel. It is spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool and modern furniture. There is a cafe with food options and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It is in a nice area closer to the old town, which suited us. Would definitely recommend it!

We loved this simple hotel very close to the beach and in a quite part of Benidorm. We visited it in June. Parking outside on the street was free and in the evening we could always find parking.

We do a tour by car from the North to the South of Spain 🇪🇸, when we arrived in Benidorm city , this was the hotel 🏘️we liked best, although it was 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️, we were more satisfied with the 4 star hotel 1.2km away, the hotel staff 💁🏾‍♂️👩🏾‍💼are very attentive and speak softly, in the future if this hotel invests in a few things in the room, it can become a 4-star hotel. ——- The room is a bit old but clean, room 205 is located in a private corner with a balcony overlooking the sea 🌅, sleeping at night is not noisy, the area is quiet, breakfast is not too noisy, what I like most about breakfast is that there is 100% fresh squeezed orange juice, I will definitely come back in mid-autumn 2025, thank you to all of your kind service. Nicely positioned and in a quiet area of a Benidorm. Rooms very basic however, zero frills, no colour other than grey and mismatched old wood. No picture to add a splash of colour even. Old TV. No Fridge, No kettle (it did say that) No drinking glasses. Felt like I’d gone back to 1980. Really wouldn’t take more than a trip to IKEA to significantly improve the rooms.|Bathroom more modern.|Breakfast room was nice but staff were very poor. No Eggs at peak time for 20 minutes! You weren’t even allowed to eat on eat terrace, again very old fashioned attitude. |Reception staff were courteous but not warm or particularly friendly.|Such a missed opportunity, this hotel could be fabulous with some small changes!

We arrived late at night to find no shops open nearby. The room was supposed to be self catering which was not. No fridge, toaster or Kettle. We went down to reception to ask for a kettle and had to buy water from them to boil in the kettle for a dink of coffee which I had taken in sachets, just as well. My husband went into the dining room to get cups and seen cockroaches running around the floor. We were facing tall buildings, hotels with no view and no sun on the balcony. The man when we arrived could not speak any English. This Hotel is NOT self catering.

All the staff are always helpful and very friendly. The swimming pool is sufficient with a very nice bar. The rooms are medium in size with a good air conditioning. But the lack of a minibar in the room is inconceivable in this climate. Whether it's for medication or a cool water at night, it would be very useful. We only had breakfast during our stay. All food and products available are very good and tasty. We also used the (paid) park for the car we booked. Nice. With the exception of the minibar, the hotel has all the amenities for a perfect stay. Ours was very, very pleasant. 🤗

Stayed here on a solo trip in their single room. ||The views from the room were incredible. Staff very helpful. Rooms spotless. Pool area nice. Approximate to the beach and centre very good also. ||Some downsides- Rooms are slightly tired and in need of an upgrade - especially in the bathroom. The hair dryer is one of those ancient plastic ones attached to the wall. ||Over all would totally recommend for the price!

Checked in as a couple in may for one week. Staff on reception was very helpful and friendly , also good English. Upon arrival we realised our room didn’t have a kitchen , kettle , fridge or tap facility's which was our fault as we didn’t check properly when booking online. Asked reception but no mini fridges was available to hire. Wasn’t a problem just meant not having cold drinks or making tea or coffee. Hotel room was basic but very clean , cleaner came in every day of our stay. Location was okay , but not our sort of thing as it was On the out skirts of Benidorm which meant a long walk in to the new town where the night life was or a cab which cost around €10 or a bus for €1.50 which meant timing the bus times. Very quiet location if that’s what you’re after. But on the plus side very close to the beach , could see from our balcony. We was on the 3rd floor out of 5 so if you don’t like high rises this could be the hotel for you. Didn’t use the restaurant but looked Spanish , a lot of fish we would smell every night. ||Overall I hasn’t no problems with the actual hotel we enjoyed our weeks stay. I would recommend this hotel for short stays and if you like the more quiet parts of Benidorm and also if you have dogs as it’s dog friendly although we didn’t see many during our stay. Also outdoor pool was a good size.||But overall a comfy stay with hotel el pameral
