Hidden in a lovely village. What a stunning property with very beautiful rooms. Limited Parking but we found roads near by that was free. We arrived quite late on a Sunday so the restaurants were either shut or no food, but we found one place still open. Breakfast was not self service, so apologies to the hotel staff!

I have to put 5 stars because the rooms are amazing. It’s not perfect, but it is a wonderful hotel. I think I can say it was my best hotel so far. You will find patios, a study/reading room, a rooftop terrace and amazingly furnished rooms.

A very bland welcome, passports, keys, breakfast times. And the lack of information continued in the room, nothing, no local sights, no recommendations for restaurants etc. The building and bedroom are in old style Spanish house, quaint and attractive. Comfortable and clean, no tea or coffee facilities, no fridge, WiFi difficult to access and kept dropping off. Breakfast was Spanish style. Juice, coffee, toasted bread with oil, tomatoes and salt to taste. Not exactly sumptuous, just OK to start the day served by a very pleasant lady. Perhaps the receptionist can learn from her and lift the atmosphere of the establishment rather than a bland greeting. ||Luckily we found parking just 50 metres away otherwise it would be a really long walk. On the plus side it's in the centre for restaurants on Plaza San Fernando.

Perfect location in the centre of the walled town. Very helpful lady on reception. And they let me park my motorbike at the front door for free! Breakfast was included and was fine. I loved my room (Tercia) and enjoyed my stay here. I'd recommend it and remind you that you are staying in a beautiful but ancient building.

We don't speak a lot of Spanish and loved that staff made such a great effort with their English. Our suite with fireplace was charming, a few pictures on the walls would make it perfect.  The hotel is well maintained. Beautiful woodwork, candelit hallways and colourful courtyards. Well situated, walking distance to everything. The rooftop terrance was closed and we were told would not be reopened until summer. Too bad as we enjoy sitting outdoors a sunny winter afternoon. ||I did find it odd that when we asked for firewood we were told a story about it being too windy outside and that a fire was a hazard. Early the next morning we noticed firewood being delivered and asked again. Other than having to pay 15 euro, we arranged a time for staff to come and light the fire for us. Without  kindling it took a while to get a good fire going - in the end it all worked out but I was left feelig staff had not been honest that first night.

This is a small privately owned hotel in the heart of the old town of Carmona. Surrounded by churches, convents and old medieval buildings, you hopefully will find the entrance to the hotel. Once inside, the small courtyards and long wide corridors lead you to lovely furnished and spotlessly clean rooms. The breakfast room is small but plenty of choice. The coffee machine is OK but would prefer freshly brew coffee! Otherwise amazing value for money and a real place in Southern Spain without hordes of tourists! A visit to the Parador is a must and tapas in the many bars/restaurants.
