This place is beyond wonderful. The rooms are individual casitas that include a sitting area outdoors. The thermal pools were exceptional. The pools are close together but each within its own private setting. The bar has great drinks and they even have tables with call buttons so you can summon a staff person to take your order. There is also a restaurant on sight that provides a complimentary breakfast as well as offering a lunch and dinner menu. We saw iguanas lounging on the sidewalk and in the foliage next to the pools as well as many different birds. The onsite farm was great fun also. 3 members of our group got up early and helped milk the cows! The setting is beautiful, so much green and flowers. Our only regret is that we were there for only one night. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend El Silencio Del Campo.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it's a beautiful hotel located in the rainforest. The hot spring pools were great. Very helpful staff too. However, we didn't enjoy the food at the restaurant, both for breakfast and at dinner. The hotel could offer more local food options as the menu felt inauthentic to central America.

I can't praise El Silencio Del Campos enough. The property is meticulously kept . Our cabin was spacious and inviting . There were other cabins close by but we felt like we were the only ones there . There are 7 beautiful thermal pools for the guests to enjoy . Each a different temperature so any one could find one that is perfect for them . Also a very nice pool . They have an on site farm that produces fruits and vegetables for the kitchen. That provides a wonderful farm to table experience . 150 chickens produce some of the best eggs I have ever tasted . There are miniature horses that keep the grounds perfectly manicured . And a sweet piggy that makes its rounds daily throughout the resort . The staff is so kind and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect . |We decided to visit the spa , I had a swedish massage and my wife had the mud facial . The spa is in a secluded area on the property with a small stream running beside the building . With the sound of the stream and the exotic birds coupled with the wonderful and attentive hands of our masseuses . This was the icing on the cake of our stay . We love El Silencio Del Campos and hope to return in the future .|Dale Cole

Hotel is nice- rooms/boongalos style; thermal river ( imho better than Tabacoon and cheaper); grounds are beautiful and well maintained. They have farm and offer cow milking experience, as well as serve their own eggs/cheese from their milk for breakfast. The only downside for me was food- I wish there were a bit more animal protein options for breakfast and a bit more food variety generally.

We had a beautiful stay at the hotel, close to the El Arenal volcano. We really enjoyed the beautiful hot springs free of charge directly on the hotel complex. There is even a little farm yard with cows, donkeys, pony, chicken etc., great for animal lovers! The rooms were very clean and had air conditioning and warm water. We will come back for sure!

Rooms were super spacious and beds were awesome. Hot springs and pools were perfect and a good spot to chill. The pool was child friendly 100% The view of the Arenal Volcano was beautiful. Breakfast had a lot of choices and everything was delicious. The farm option was a super idea. We even had a sloth 🦥 on a tree next to us. ☆☆☆☆☆ stars 100%

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel El Silence Del Campo while visiting La Fortuna with our two children. I never leave reviews but needed to share how lovely every aspect of our stay was. The grounds are beautiful and there is so much wildlife to see. We especially enjoyed all of the peacocks and kurrasaw that would wander around in the morning. The amenities were very nice and we found them family friendly. There’s a small playground and a farm where kids can milk a cow, horseback ride, collect eggs from the chickens and walk around to explore a bit. The included breakfast had many nice options. What we enjoyed most were the hot springs; they were never too crowded and there were many pools to choose from. The staff was helpful and kind and we found the location very accessible to everything that we wanted to do in the area. Highly recommend for a trip with kids (it looked like it would be very nice for a romantic getaway too :))

Loved the individual units with porches, large windows, and easy access to the hot springs on site. Visited their farm and watched them milk and feed the cows. Had multiple delicious breakfast and dinners onsite. We had tours all or days but took advantage of the hot springs multiple times a day. Highly recommend this little gem!
