It's a nice place, clean and close to the center. We went 2 consecutive years there for a small vacation. It is a nice and pleasant hotel.

The perfect place for smokers. Even though smoking is not allowed in hotels in Bulgaria, this place has a smoking corner on every floor. Calls for a visit from the local authorities. If you are a non-smoker you shall never visit this smokers' paradise hotel. .

We arrived at 23.00 in the evening, everything looked OK. I had something to pun in the fridge, the front desk boy was kind and helped. There is a minibar also in the room. This were the only good things. In the room was a very bad smell from the bathroom. Had to open window to be able to stay in the room. In the morning it went even worse. The rooms have no sound insulation so from 7.30 the noise was uncomfortable. No way of sleeping. And on top, at 8.30 the phone rang , ... for nothing. Like I had any alarm set. I really do not recommend this. We arrived because of long waiting in Turkish / Bulgarian border , and needed a rest for continuing the travel. We couldn't get the desired rest.

Without a doubt, it was the friendliness, helpfulness and compassion of not only the two owners, but all the other staff of the hotel. I found myself spending time in Stara Zagora because of unexpected circumstances, and the help and assistance that was given to me was astounding. Nothing was too much trouble - phone calls were made on my behalf, information was sought for me, and offers to act as translators in any situation were made. Also, the owner drove me to the bus station in her own car, and helped me buy a ticket when I had to leave. For these reasons alone, I am very grateful to have chosen the Hotel Elegance. But the practicalities were also excellent. Rooms very clean and neat and comfortable - and the food was an added surprise. There is an extensive menu and the evening meals we had there were superb. I have visited Bulgaria twice before and have found the food good - fresh and simple. And so it was here - and cooked beautifully. Whoever is working behind the scenes in the kitchen there certainly understands good food. On two occasions, for lunch - they offered me a bowl of soup 'on the house'. One was a veal soup, the other chicken soup. Probably the best chicken soup I've ever had. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel that made a very difficult stay for me in Bulgaria just that little bit easier. Thank you.

Never again! Hearing dog barking from one of the rooms, my room was cold (even after using heater on max), breakfast time was short and breakfast poor offering, and on the top of these my bank account was deducted due to another reservation which doesn't belong to me and after 1 week I recieved less money due to currency changing, and they said they can't do anything further! Outrageous!

I dont like leaving bad reviews, but my recent experience with this hotel was not very pleasant. Me and my family have to go to the town for family occasion. I have booked two rooms for my parents and myself, via booking. The hotel offers to book and pay at the property. I have been using this type of booking especially after the pandemic every where i go especially abroad and i never had an issue. Apparently there is festival or whatever the same period we have to stay so i've started receiving demanding messages from the manager that i have to pay the full price right away, otherwise my booking will not be confirmed. No worries if that is your initial policy, but don't offer a "pay at the property" service as an option, because clearly it is a lie. I canceled and booked with another hotel. I hate people like that when they are trying to make you a fool!

We recently spent two nights in this hotel during our stay in Bulgaria. The rooms here were small but no smaller than the standard European hotel room (we Americans are quite spoiled in this regard). Three of the best meals we had during our entire trip were served in the Hotel Restaraunt. The Bon Filet with peppercorn sauce was my favorite but the Beef Stroganoff was a very close second. ||||The owners and staff at the Hotel went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. Only drawback was the air conditioning was not on yet and Bulgaria was experiencing an unusually hot May. Also, be advised that in order to get to the guest rooms, you must be able to walk up a flite of stairs to get to the elevator. ||||Hotel is within walking distance of the main shopping district in Stara Zagora as well as the points of interest. We definately will be returning guests to this great hotel.
