Comfortable. Centric. Casual. Correct.|If criticism is needed, 22 euros for breakfast seems excessive. But trying to find reasonable alternatives in the places around the Grote Markt was certainly difficult. Only in one place understood the need of one orange juice, one coffee with milk and a croissant with butter and marmalade. It costed 11,50€ but was much more limited than the breakfast offered in the hotel.

Honestly, it was just supposed to be used as a "stopover" on a longer drive. But good location, nice and helpful staff. fast and smooth check-in + check-out. Nice rooms, clean and nicely decorated. nice pool. We are very satisfied and would like to stay there again

Great experience. Just like the sister hotel De 3 Paardekens. I booked the Oud Huys Room number 2 with a kitchen and some more space. Good internet. I can highly recommend for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Mechelen. And enjoyed the pool also.

We booked a room at Hotel Elisabeth and were shocked by the condition: paper confetti from previous guests still on the floor, visible mold, water drainage issues, and even a puddle on the floor upon arrival. Unfortunately, we had to leave quickly for a wedding, but we reported all of this at checkout. The receptionist apologized and said we were supposed to get a complimentary breakfast — which was never communicated — and waived parking fees.||||We followed up by email with photos and a detailed complaint. Not a single reply from management. This level of customer care is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. We cannot recommend this place and hope future guests will think twice.

Extremely disappointing.|A very dirty room, no housekeeping, so no dry towels, and being woken up in the morning because the reception thinks you have to check out. The dispenser was filled, so someone must have been in, but didn't make the bed or do other housekeeping tasks.|The shower is filthy and doesn't drain. The shower hose is worn out, so water doesn't come out. The shower drain is extremely dirty. There's no working exhaust fan in the bathroom, and water runs over the windows. Dirty used coffee cups. One tea bag, but no coffee in the room.|Then there's the pool. If you fancy a cold bath, this is your chance. The doors stay open in the evening so the pool cools down. The pool shower is in the dark, as are all the steps to the pool. Dangerous, unlit. The pool toilet is out of order. Where does everyone do their business...?|There's no supervision in the pool, so children jump from the highest platform. Very dangerous. The pool closed an hour earlier than indicated on the website (10:00 PM).|Contrary to what the website states, the pool is freely accessible. You don't need to check in; everyone can simply walk to the pool, even guests.|Parking: Contrary to what the website states, the parking spaces aren't numbered.|The reception desk is usually unmanned. You can ring the bell, but the four times I tried, no one came.|The website states that the hotel wonders why it doesn't have a 4-star rating... It's not even worth three stars!

The rooms are nice but the cheap one doesn't even have a window to the outside, pretty sure that's illegal. Really makes you depressed. They tried to be artsy but it's just not pretty. Bathroom is pretty nice though. The staff is useless, they are just there to make sure you pay a lot of money for everything that's so overpriced. 5€ for a small water bottle is criminally overpriced, 4€ for a mini bag of chips, seriously. My mother ended up throwing up after breakfast so that's nothing to brag about. Nobody tells you that the hotel is located in an area where cars aren't allowed to enter from the morning until the evening, if you do enter, you'll get a fine sent to your home. So locations sucks. All in all waste of money

Very disappointing experience at Hotel Elisabeth. The room was dirty (leftover decorations from previous guests, mold, poor drainage, puddles of water), and the quality did not match the high price at all. The worst part: we contacted the hotel via email with full details and photos, and received no reply. If this is how they handle complaints, we won’t be returning — and I would advise others to be cautious.

Nice centrally located hotel in Mechelen. I stayed here to attend a wedding in the close by village of Duffel. My arrival in Mechelen was early, so I parked my car in the centre of the city and had a lunch meeting with an old friend and afterwards, I walked back to my car and collected my luggage. Check in was very quickly, because the hotel sent me a day in advance a pre check in. Checking out went by pretty fast as well. The only minus that I would like to mention is the protection light in the ceiling that kept on blinking, which was very annoying.
