We recently stayed at this hotel in Ribes de Freser, booking two separate rooms for ourselves and our children. Overall, the hotel is of high quality, with a warm, cozy, and fairly luxurious atmosphere. The rooms were well-renovated, clean (for the most part), and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the private jacuzzi in each room, as well as the rooftop jacuzzi with stunning mountain views. Spending time there was an unforgettable experience! Each room also had its own breathtaking view of the mountains, making our mornings and evenings truly magical. The hotel restaurant served tasty food, though the variety was somewhat limited, especially for those with dietary restrictions like myself. Unfortunately, there were no gluten-free options, which meant I had very little to choose from. While I enjoyed nearly everything about our stay, there was one major disappointment. Upon arrival, I noticed that the bathroom in our room hadn’t been properly cleaned. The jacuzzi still had long, foreign hairs in it, which was very unpleasant. I went to the reception to request a proper cleaning, and we left the hotel for a walk. However, when we returned, it became clear that the staff had only rinsed the tub without removing the hair. I had to clean the jacuzzi myself, which was not how I wanted to start my stay. This incident nearly ruined our otherwise lovely experience. Despite this, the quality of the hotel and its amenities were excellent, and I would still consider staying here again if cleanliness could be guaranteed. The views, cozy rooms, and rooftop jacuzzi are hard to beat!

We went there for dinner and everything was delicious! We had the daily menu and couldn't believe the quality and quantity for 23 euros. The beef stew was a highlight, but everything we ate was very good. The waiters are efficient and attentive. Not all of them speak english but that's not a problem, as they are friendly and make an effort.

Remember that snobby food critic in "Ratatouille" become emotional when he took the first bite? Well, I'm not a snob, but I have been disappointed in the restaurants of Barcelona that this was a total surprise. The grilled beef was a revelation. My meal started with really good croquetas that were crunchy yet creamy with well-balanced flavours, not too much salt and no taste of the oil. The grilled beef was so tender, flavourful, very simple but so good, so dreamy, it reminded me of long-gone days at home. The raspberry sorbet so richly creamy yet light. The accompanying red wine was excellent too. Definitely worth visiting.

The restaurant is a gem in Ribes. Great service, very good cooking and quite some exquisite choices on the extensive menu, many of them very local. The wine menu is worth some dreaming and even the Gin collection is worth mentioning. As for desert choices, you will encounter dilemmas, but you cannot pass on Balsamico icecream with white chocolate and red fruit.

It's an old hotel in the heart of the town. Great location to take the train to the Vall de Núria. The superior room had nothing superior about it. Bathrooms are dirty and smell very bad. The whole room had a very strong aromatic smell trying to counter it, but somehow only made it worse. The restaurant is expensive for the offering. The food is good but lacks in variaty. Breakfast was very poor and without replenishing the most requested dishes. It might've been even worse experience for those who like to sleep in. Overall the hotel is not a good value for the asked price.

First, the town of Ribes De Freser was among our favorites as we motorcycled through the Pyranees. The train up to Nuria, the hiking, the Ribes village, wonderful, intimate and grand at the same time. ||||The hotel, service impeccable. Front desk clerk beautiful, sweet and made every effort to make our stay pleasant. She's a real asset to the hotel. ||||The room was pleasant, clean and perfectly fine for our short visit except the cheap sponge pillows were useless and should be disposed of. Otherwise, recommended. ||||The food in the restaurant was consistently good with interesting local dishes, all prepared carefully and tastefully, nice presentations too. The breakfast was just ok, very mediocre coffee, minimal eggs (huevas) offerings, not horrible but fair at best. Lunch and dinner is where the restaurant shines.||||Value was good, fair price and food was priced fairly too. We recommend the hotel. It's a very short walk around the corner from the Nuria train. It poured rain when we went up so a limited experience in Nuria itself but it looks wonderful and a must see location, so close to Barcelona and offering a really special taste of the Spanish Pyrenees.

We had such a great time there and the staff and owner were so nice and really went out of their way to help us with a lost passport! Can't thank them enough. The food was awesome, too, so make sure to eat there as well.
