Hotel Embassy

I come to this city at least once a year. We stayed in this hotel for the first time. I was looking for a hotel that has its own parking lot and that our car is close by. Although it costs 10e/day, I am very satisfied with the hotel and the service. The rooms are very clean, big and the beds are great. The breakfast is excellent and there is a lot on offer. The hotel is located in the very center and the location is beautiful. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed here for one night during my time in Karlovy Vary. The hotel is conveniently located along the river Promenade & there are a number of reserved parking spots directly in front of the hotel which is very convenient. ||My room (303) was quite large, with a small balcony, and the room faced the front of the hotel with beautiful views of the river below. The bathroom was also very large with a separate shower and bathtub. My girlfriend stayed in room 301 which appeared to be a mirror image of my room. We were able to see our parked car from our rooms. ||The Hotel Embassy is just a couple minutes walk away from the Grand Hotel Pupp, which is a great place to go for a drink in their beautiful bar. You are also just minutes away from all the colonnades with mineral seeps where you can enjoy the various healing mineral waters. ||We opted to dine in the adjoining restaurant of our hotel. It was mushroom season during our stay and we wanted to start with a local mushroom dish as an appetizer. Sadly, our waitress did not make a note of this request and our entire meal came to the table at one time. Luckily the person at the table next to us had just left as we didn’t have enough room on our small table for all of our dishes. Despite this oversight, our meal was great and we enjoyed the evening. We were able to charge our meal to our room tab. ||The breakfast buffet featured a large selection, including a good variety of fresh fruit. ||I needed to send a package to Germany during my stay here and the staff assisted me in getting a cardboard box as well as taping the box closed once I had finished packing it.||Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful and I would recommend staying here as well as dining at their restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Embassy, and loved the location right on the river. Beautiful views from the lovely balcony in our rooms, comfortable beds, and all at a good price-point. The room was very spacious too! Reception was nice and friendly, and spoke English, and the free parking was fantastic! My one disappointment was that there was no information in the rooms about Karlovy Vary, and the front desk did not have any maps to give out. With the town boasting 15 mineral springs and numerous colonnades, not to mention thermal spas, and the international film festival, and lots of history, a little info in the room would have been helpful and/or one of those tear-off maps of the city. Having read about some of this before we travelled, I was aware, but I feel the hotel could offer more info in that regard. We ate at the restaurant too and it was delicious; however, the waitress was quite inexperienced and not very knowledgeable about the menu. She also brought all of the food at once, did not check on us, and did not ask if we wanted to dessert and when we inquired she advised that the kitchen had closed. That being said, I would not hesitate to stay and eat at the Hotel Embassy again

This hotel absolutely over exceeded our expectations, my focus was on nice and secure parking, but it was soo much more, friendly staff (english speaking which we think is absolutely a rarity in this city), spotless clean room, comfy bed, great breakfast, absolutely recommended!

We had lunch at the restaurant and it was beyond our expectations. The flavors are so rich and everything was so delicious. We had the ravioli, goose, gluten free spaghetti and french fries. One of the best experiences in Kadovy Vary. Perfect location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Vintage style. Highly recommended. We haven’t stayed at the hotel. Only dined there once.

Cosy hotel at a perfect location. Comfortable big rooms, very clean and free parking. The restaurant is also very good.

This review is specifically about the Embassy Hotel and does not pertain to the restaurant. The Embassy Hotel is a lovely establishment situated at the foot of the Tepla River. The hotel has an attractive appearance and is impeccably clean. We were fortunate to secure a room with a balcony, and it was very spacious and clean. The hotel provides a few parking spaces right in front of the building, which is a great convenience in Karlovy Vary, where parking can be quite scarce. Therefore, it's advisable to reserve parking spaces in advance. The breakfast is also of good quality and served in a beautiful space. I would choose to stay here again when in Karlovy Vary.
