Hotel Emonec

Fabulously appointed rooms, we had four in our family and there were two rooms within the suite. The wall paper and ebony beams across were elegant, quaint. The property is centrally situated with walking distance to practically everything. There was live music just a few meters out, many gelato, coffee and eateries. We could extend our nights further given it was just a short walk back. Just need to install elevators if possible

The hotel is directly located in the city center and only a few walking minutes away from all the sightseeing attractions. The bedrooms are nice and modern but from what I‘ve seen the peace and quiet of the room depends heavily on where it is located in the hotel. (During our stay there was a student group at the other end of the hotel that listened to music pretty loud till late in the night) The beds are comfortable and the hotel room is big enough. However, if you book a 4 person bedroom you need to consider that one bed is a pull out bed on the floor. The breakfast was good but a little more variety (fruits, veggies, eggs) would have been nice. All in all, the hotel is great for a stay in Ljubljana if you‘re searching for something directly in the city center.

We stayed for two nights in this hotel which is located in the city center. The staff was very helpful and professional. Our room was beautiful and clean. We recommend the breakfast, good price, basic but complete.

This is a basic hotel, but in an excellent location. My room was small, but bed was comfortable and the bathroom had been renovated. Breakfast is not free but there are wonderful cafes nearby, the one overlooking the park is wonderful. You can walk everywhere. The staff on reception are friendly. There are stairs so if you have mobility issues this might be a problem.

We encountered bedbugs, so we had to leave. The location is priceless though. The place has potential and could become a gem if the hotel would hire friendlier and more capable staff (and control the bedbug problem).

Location is goodbut everything else was so horrible that I actually gave up my room and booked at a different hotel. The single room is at a different building with aweful stairs that are very hard to go up especially with a large suitcase. The room itself is ok but the bathroom is so small it could barely fit 1 person. The staff were very unpleasant. Don't recommend at all.

NEVER BOOK HERE There are bedbugs in this hotel, and when we addressed this we were called liars. Bedbugs have now spread into our home and the hotel does NOTHING to compensate us. They simply claim that the problem cannot come from them, even though it is the only option. There are more reviews that mention bedbugs! Very rude business with idiotic policy. I'd advise everyone to stay far away from this hotel.

The room smells like to tobacco. Obviously people have been smoking inside. The first night I was awaken at 2am by people from other rooms of the corridor being drunk, screaming and vomiting. It a party hotel. Don’t come here if you want to have some sleep
