Hotel Emonec

Do not stay here if you are traveling independently. The hotel is mainly used for school trips. Large, loud groups arrive at random times and take over everything. The rooms are serviceable, but not great. Breakfast is very limited. You are mainly paying for the location, which is excellent. Staff were fantastic and very helpful.

Fabulously appointed rooms, we had four in our family and there were two rooms within the suite. The wall paper and ebony beams across were elegant, quaint. The property is centrally situated with walking distance to practically everything. There was live music just a few meters out, many gelato, coffee and eateries. We could extend our nights further given it was just a short walk back. Just need to install elevators if possible

You pay just for the location which is in the same main square and its excellent. The hotel have nothing to offer for the price except clean bed for sleeping in a small room with little window, and the prices per night are ambitious ( without breakfast). For the people for whom the breakfast its important meal, this hotel its not for you. The staff was not intersted to give information about anything, so you need to ask all the time. I give 3 stars just for the location.

We encountered bedbugs, so we had to leave. The location is priceless though. The place has potential and could become a gem if the hotel would hire friendlier and more capable staff (and control the bedbug problem).

The hotel is directly located in the city center and only a few walking minutes away from all the sightseeing attractions. The bedrooms are nice and modern but from what I‘ve seen the peace and quiet of the room depends heavily on where it is located in the hotel. (During our stay there was a student group at the other end of the hotel that listened to music pretty loud till late in the night) The beds are comfortable and the hotel room is big enough. However, if you book a 4 person bedroom you need to consider that one bed is a pull out bed on the floor. The breakfast was good but a little more variety (fruits, veggies, eggs) would have been nice. All in all, the hotel is great for a stay in Ljubljana if you‘re searching for something directly in the city center.

The room smells like to tobacco. Obviously people have been smoking inside. The first night I was awaken at 2am by people from other rooms of the corridor being drunk, screaming and vomiting. It a party hotel. Don’t come here if you want to have some sleep

This is a basic hotel, but in an excellent location. My room was small, but bed was comfortable and the bathroom had been renovated. Breakfast is not free but there are wonderful cafes nearby, the one overlooking the park is wonderful. You can walk everywhere. The staff on reception are friendly. There are stairs so if you have mobility issues this might be a problem.

We stayed for two nights in this hotel which is located in the city center. The staff was very helpful and professional. Our room was beautiful and clean. We recommend the breakfast, good price, basic but complete.
