Hotel Emonec

Fabulously appointed rooms, we had four in our family and there were two rooms within the suite. The wall paper and ebony beams across were elegant, quaint. The property is centrally situated with walking distance to practically everything. There was live music just a few meters out, many gelato, coffee and eateries. We could extend our nights further given it was just a short walk back. Just need to install elevators if possible

The hotel is directly located in the city center and only a few walking minutes away from all the sightseeing attractions. The bedrooms are nice and modern but from what I‘ve seen the peace and quiet of the room depends heavily on where it is located in the hotel. (During our stay there was a student group at the other end of the hotel that listened to music pretty loud till late in the night) The beds are comfortable and the hotel room is big enough. However, if you book a 4 person bedroom you need to consider that one bed is a pull out bed on the floor. The breakfast was good but a little more variety (fruits, veggies, eggs) would have been nice. All in all, the hotel is great for a stay in Ljubljana if you‘re searching for something directly in the city center.

This is a basic hotel, but in an excellent location. My room was small, but bed was comfortable and the bathroom had been renovated. Breakfast is not free but there are wonderful cafes nearby, the one overlooking the park is wonderful. You can walk everywhere. The staff on reception are friendly. There are stairs so if you have mobility issues this might be a problem.

Beautiful town and ideal location. The property is non descript on entry but the rooms are majestic, well appointed. The quadruple of family room had two sections with giant wallpaper of forests adorned by wood beams, quaint🙂. They also graciously helped us with an issue, wonderful people.

Basic hotel but very reasonably priced and right in the centre of the plaza.|Breakfast is continental and no other meal options. |Can get noisy from the street if you’re in the block away from the hotel, particularly ground floor.||Ideal for a couple of days break.||Great little electric car service that’s free for exploring the plaza area.

On paper a great central location in the pedestrianised city centre. Rooms are smart, staff are helpful, breakfast is ok. BUT it’s adjacent to a nightclub so if pumping bass until 3:30am may keep you awake it’s a bit of a lottery whether you’re in one of the affected rooms

+ great location (walking distance to all main "must see places); despite being located in the center of the old town, the hotel is quiet and even the city's nightlife (there are a few nice nightclubs in the area) does not interfere with sleep, + friendly stuff, + rooms' cleanliness, +/- breakfast - breakfast is OK but it would be nice to have bigger selection, especially of veggies.
