Hotel Casa de los azulejos

We spent two nights at this lovely hotel in January and will certainly want to return when next in wonderful Córdoba. Casa de Los Azulejos is beautiful and the hosts and staff are friendly and welcoming. Córdoba was very cold and wet for our visit but the welcome at the hotel was warm and relaxed. The location is perfect as a base for walking around the city, and for easy access to excellent bars and restaurants. The home-made produce at breakfast was lovely, and there's even the bonus of home-brewed beer available to sample! Casa de Los Azulejos is a great find and I very much recommend it.

This was a gem in the central historic district. Upon check in the receptionist gave us a map with all the information and recommendations to visit and eat. The rooms were well kept, bed was firm if you like the mattress that way. AC and heat in the room. The owner Manuel was very attentive. He provides an excellent breakfast of homemade jams and bread. He offers his own craft beer that was pretty tasty. Great location about a 10 min walk to most of the sites in any direction.

The hotel is housed in an older, tiled manor house with an open courtyard featuring a fountain and the adjacent breakfast room. The rooms are attractively furnished with somewhat worn furniture, and the windows don't seal very well. Nevertheless, the room remained quite quiet, as the building is located on a quiet side street. Despite this, the historic old town and the Jewish quarter are just a few minutes' walk away. Getting there by car is a bit complicated; due to roadworks, the road is currently only half open at a time, and you have to exit against the normal flow of traffic – however, the otherwise very helpful manager assured us that this wouldn't be a problem. It's advisable to reserve parking in advance to secure one of the few spaces on a fenced property about 300 meters away. Breakfast was plentiful and served at the table by the manager – a very thoughtful touch! Overall, we found our stay at this hotel very comfortable and felt well cared for.

A truly outstanding stay from start to finish. The hospitality was absolutely first-class — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The building itself is full of character, beautifully restored and full of thoughtful touches that make you feel instantly at charmed The highlight of each morning was the delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with care and bursting with flavour. It was the perfect start to each day and a wonderful reflection of the pride they take in their guest experience. We left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and already planning our return. We will definitely be back.

Just spent two really lovely days here! Manuel and the whole team are so lovely, breakfast is delicious with homemade breads, jams and coffees. Beautiful hotel, super clean and just a lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed the pool and the beers that are brewed by the owner. Will definitely be coming back here!

We booked this small hotel after reading the reviews and the fact there was parking available and were not disappointed. Parking was interesting but doable and we didn’t need the car at all during our stay. Room was lovely and very comfortable, all the staff were lovely and had good suggestions for restaurants nearby. Breakfast as most reviewers have stated was lovely and a wee bit different .|It was especially hot when we were there but we walked everywhere during the day but did get a couple of taxis back in the evenings.|We did the main sights including the horse show but hope to return as we really liked Cordoba.

Excellent place to stay. The owner was supreb to interact with and nothing was to make trouble. I look forward to returning soon, such a nice place to relax and feel welcome.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is located on a quiet street, which made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, yet it’s still very convenient — almost all major sights are within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. A perfect balance of comfort, location, and hospitality. Highly recommended!
