Hotel Equatorial Melaka

Stayed there a night for my brother in law's wedding reception. It's an old hotel and perhaps a little dated in it's deco but the level of service and the food surpasses what I've come to expect. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast- excellent! You'll never go wrong with a stay here. Thank you to the staff for an enjoyable stay.

It's located in the town area, lots of malls around it but the place is very jammed. So expect lots of jam when trying to get there. Best is to travel by foot around the area. The hotel itself is very nice. Very clean and the staff are helpful. They provided us with drinks when checking in to the hotel. The rooms are clean and nice. They will clean the room if you want every morning and replace your towels for you. Breakfast provided at the hotel is nice and there are lots of varieties. Breakfast came with the room so Im not sure how much it costs.

The carpet is dirty , we didn't get the room we expected . The mattress wasn't firm enough and it was old . The elevators are dirty as people that go in the pool never dry off and go in the elevator anyway. However the quality of service is good. Refurbishment is needed to get the hotel to a better standard.

After so many years, the hotel rooms, facility , gym room, lobby etc are still well maintained! Really impressive despite the shower h as in the shower room needs to replace. The toilet may need some refresh similarly to the bed. Overall is still clean and nice.. keep it up! Very assessable to amenities and restaurants. Walking distance to many food place and the shopping mall too! Great to stay here !

Old hotel, looks pretty old inside, however, interior are well maintain even thou the building and equipment is old. Buffet is better than I expected. However, I felt the dessert they can improve even better. Butter cake taste like very artificial flavour and can felt the food colour taste at the end. Service given is superb for a 4 star hotel.

Came here for the cooking class, not as a guest of the hotel. I loved this class, it was definitely the best one I have done! The explanations about the food and history were great. The food we made was delicious and we got to enjoy this with multiple other dishes at the end of the class. We even got dessert to take away as we were too full to have it there. I can't wait to go and try these recipes at home!

Although the facility a bit old, but maintenance very well. Condition still good. The great part is the service by their staff. You fell comfortable when staying here. Although many new hotel around this area now. But this hotel is worth the price. It is still a great choice to stay here.
