Hotel Erfurt "Am Kaisersaal" Altstadt nahe Zentrum

The experience was amazing. We had a great time and the service was equally exceptional. Buk, liebt alles. Anu, loves the yummy food. Pops, slept all through!

The staff was so lovely and authentic. I really felt like I was at home. (Even better, I didn’t have to do the dishes.) The room was clean and quiet and located in the center of town. |I would gladly come back and stay here again. Highly recommended. A+

This hotel has friendly and helpful staff, and clean, quiet and reasonably priced rooms with firm mattresses. It offers a breakfast, included in the price, that is both comprehensive and very good. It is also close to the Old Town and to many interesting sites and good restaurants. We loved staying here and hope to stay here again.

An excellent hotel in a lovely city within easy walking distance of all the major attractions. My room was basic but clean, the staff on reception friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included in the price, unusual in Germany) was tasty and (although the hot options were poor and a little cold) there was a wide range of other options. ||A good value, centrally located hotel!

We had a great stay here! The family room (104) was very spacious with four separate beds in two rooms. The breakfast was excellent. Parking (with a separate fee) is underneath the building and easy to get to. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is superior. You have a short walk to the Kramerbrucke (Merchant's Bridge) and then all of the old town opens up for you. There are a number of outstanding restaurants a short walk away. We'll stay here again on our next trip to Erfurt!

They can barely speak English at reception, which is fine unless there is a problem with your room. We booked a non- comfort room with bfast for 126 euro. No refrigerator, no a/c, ok. Got it. A couple of days before our booked night, the upgraded comfort room was advertised for 103 euro. I messaged gore kindly asking them if they would consider an upgrade for us since comfort room was now over 20 euro cheaper. NO REPLY. Ok.. check in and they weren’t going to upgrade us even though hotels was no where near full in this Sunday evening. Fine. No problem. They give us room in old building with a fan. Fine. Problem is that Wi-Fi isn’t working- we complained.. they reset it. Still doesn’t work.. goes on then off.. hard to conduct any business needing Wi-Fi. Eric and female at desk have no sympathy and don’t care. They say we can come to bar and use Wi-Fi there. Well, doesn’t that defeat purpose of saying the hotel has Wi-Fi in room?

Great location right on the edge of the historic centre (but with parking), a lovely family-friendly room (would have been even better if the children's sleeping area had bunk beds), excellent breakfast buffet and very friendly service. All for an extremely reasonable price. Thank you, Hotel am Kaisersaal!

Nice hotel in the centre of Erfurt. We had a “Komfort “ room, so it was quite spacious. Everything was spotless and modern, although it would have been nice to have a second chair. Our room faced the back so it was very quiet at night. Breakfast buffet was good, although the warm foods were not very hot. Staff were helpful, although at one stage in the evening the reception and receptionist stank of cigarette smoke.
