Hotel Erfurt "Krämerbrücke" Altstadt

Exceptional location, cozy rooms, good service, nice breakfast. All in all, we were really happy in the hotel. We only stayed one night as we wanted to visit Erfurt but we're ultimately heading for another destination, so we searched for an hotel in the city center which was not to expensive. We were not deceived. Only recommendation for women: get your own hairdryer, as we are still not sure if the one in the bathroom deserves the name 'hairdryer'

The hotel at the Krämerbrücke in Erfurt is located in the heart of the Old Town and offers a direct view of the city’s famous landmark. Its central location allows guests to explore the historic sights on foot. Modern amenities and a charming atmosphere ensure a pleasant stay.

Great hotel but when it's 93 outside the AC in rooms don't work. We complained and hotel tried to remedy situation but others staying at hotel also told us their air-conditioning also didn't work in their hotel rooms. Hotel is beautiful and convenient to everything but hot inside lobby and throughout hotel making it very difficult to sleep there.

Great value, perfect location. When driving through Germany we usually stay in larger towns but this time opted for Erfurt, home of Luther. The hotel has roomy, clean, warmly produced rooms. The reception staff are wonderful, as were those in the main restaurant, where we had dinner. The menu is ‘modern’ German with clever twists on traditional fare, and utterly delicious. The location is absolutely perfect, allowing easy strolls around the stunning Old Town. We will come again.

Lovely hotel just next to the Krämerbrücke, one of the most spectacular sites in town. Very friendly staff, easy check in. Fantastic bed, rooms are fairly small, but well equipped and modern, good and quick internet. ||Breakfast is fantastic with lots of fresh food and an amazing choice. Parking can be booked in their garage for 18€ per night. Location could hardly be better.||All in all an excellent price- service ratio. I will be back!

The hotel's air conditioning was broken, but no one informed us of that when we checked in. We opened our windows because it was hot in the room, but bugs came in and we were on the ground floor with a parking lot behind us, and didn't feel comfortable leaving the large windows open when we went to sleep. So we turned on the air, but we woke up many times during the middle of the night because it was so hot. We went out to the front desk around 4 AM and then were told that the air conditioning was broken for the whole hotel. When we checked out we asked for a reduction in our room rate and they were only willing to give us 10% off. That didn't seem like enough, considering we could couldn't get much sleep in the very hot room. I cannot recommend this hotel on the basis of the air conditioner being broken during our stay and lack of compensation.

We visited Erfurt for the Christmas markets and this hotel is in a great location to walk across the street to a market and is directly next to the famous Kramerbrucke. The hotel was so full we made a reservation for breakfast the night before. Staff was very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Parking was better than most - they have an outside parking area that is very helpful.
