Most of them have a loggia or balcony with views of the lake of the large park. Hôtel Ermitage also has 2 restaurants, which serve meals prepared using local ingredients. The piano bar, Le Birdie, presents a musical setting for a relaxing drink near the fireplace. beautiful hotel, amazing location. we had the room with the view on the lake and it was gorgeous. everything is well maintained. breakfast is abundant nevertheless, except the lady at the welcoming station for breakfast, the rest of the staff is not as excellent as you would expect. nobody told us you could have omelette or kitchen made specific food. I would say the staying was amazing except the breakfast that was...OK I will definitely come back!

This was our second time here, so happy that the bartender even offered us two cocktails! Last year we stayed at the hotel for celebrating our wedding anniversary. We found the staff at this hotel to be attentive, helpful, and dedicated. The environment is beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. The attached spa is also excellent!

The hotel is lovely. Very well equipped. Modern rooms, spacious too. We were there with our daughter (8). The shower is a bit iffy. Difficult to maintain one temperature and the pressure on the 1st floor was low. |The restaurant is what really lets the place down: we had 4 different not great experiences. They serve something different from what is actually described on the menu with no prior information. There are stock issues all the time. Things turn up at different times so no one can eat their main course at the same time. And that is IF there is a table available. Even if you stay at the hotels that’s not a given. |Eating at the bar: same thing.. they serve different things from what’s in the menu. |All in all a nice set of hotels (ermitage/verniaz/royal) but restaurants and bars are not great.

A wonderful hotel in a stunning location overlooking Lake Geneva. The staff were excellent and made it a very enjoyable trip for 4 days. Great outdoor activities eg whitewater rafting and golf. Only drawback was very poor quality food at the hotel (especially given the cost) but the town of Evian offers some excellent alternative eating places.
