Unreliability, is one of the worst characteristic for a hotel. Without confidence that the hotel will have a room when you get there then a hotel has nothing.
You should reasonably expect that once eight rooms have been confirmed, reinforced by emails along the way and the initial booking completed and confirmed many months in advance of the trip from Australia for goodness sake, that the hotel will honour its obligations.
Not the Hotel Ermitage, we were very badly let down !
They somehow managed to double book our reservation, 3 months after the initial confirmation, and tell me that they suddenly didn’t have rooms for our group of 10 for the last night of our 7 night stay. It’s unprofessional at best and cynical at worst.
Management of this hotel needs to get a grip and sort themselves out. What a complete shambles.
We’ve moved elsewhere now and won’t be going back. A huge vote of no confidence from our group so booker beware !!
