Hôtel Ermitage Verbier

All great, cosy, we had a small room but we managed, there is a lift, ski locker, also breakfast was very nice, the owners are authentic Swiss owners and we loved it.clean. For the price it is a good value and we will be coming back as we are more interested in spending time in the mountains and have a good sleep at the hotel. Late post (we were there in winter high season).

Unreliability, is one of the worst characteristic for a hotel. Without confidence that the hotel will have a room when you get there then a hotel has nothing. You should reasonably expect that once eight rooms have been confirmed, reinforced by emails along the way and the initial booking completed and confirmed many months in advance of the trip from Australia for goodness sake, that the hotel will honour its obligations. Not the Hotel Ermitage, we were very badly let down ! They somehow managed to double book our reservation, 3 months after the initial confirmation, and tell me that they suddenly didn’t have rooms for our group of 10 for the last night of our 7 night stay. It’s unprofessional at best and cynical at worst. Management of this hotel needs to get a grip and sort themselves out. What a complete shambles. We’ve moved elsewhere now and won’t be going back. A huge vote of no confidence from our group so booker beware !!

The location was excellent and there were many nearby restaurants and cafes/bakeries to choose from. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would go back if I visit Verbier again.

The rooms are simple but cozy. When it's warm outside, they tend to get a bit hot but it's not a big deal in my opinion as at this altitude it does cool down outside in summer. Opening the windows for a while or during the night will bring relieve. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the village. I really appreciated the flexibility regarding breakfast time. In general, Staff have been very friendly and helpful. I look forward coming back next year, thank you.

I really felt taken care of. * The wellness center has a gorgeous mountain view. I regret not booking a massage. * The breakfast is a great way to start your day * The hotel is conveniently close to the shuttle stop for the medran lift area, but it's also only a short walk * The location feels very central with many food and entertainment options nearby. * The room was clean, warm, and very cozy.

We stayed here in September for a few days of hiking and relaxation. The hotel is old school Swiss hotel which is perfect for me. Do not expect a big modern hotel. Beds were good, room was clean, breakfast was excellent. Balcony had a lovely view of the valley and mountains. Hugo the owner is great, very friendly and helpful.

Me and my friend stayed here for 7 days from New years eve 2022 till the 7th of Jan 2023. The hotel is placed right in the middle of verbier Town center so you can find all the bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops all in one place. The hotel it's self is kept in tune with the old style of verbier which makes it feel nice and relaxing. The room came with a balcony with a table with chairs so that you can enjoy the amazing views of the mountains all around you.||The two single beds are comfy and long. The room keeps the heat so after a long day on the mountain skiing or snowboarding you can warm up very easy. The bathroom is a big size with shower and bath in one. Perfect for warming up the bones after some stacks on the mountain. ||The breakfast is a continental one but you have a great choice of stuff and the staff in their are amazing. They will make you feel at home every morning when you go in.||You get free decent WiFi in the hotel as well as a locked up ski/snowboard dry room to dry your gear after the day on the slopes. Includes boot heaters. They is a lift aswell to get you suitcases up to your floor. Also a TV with plenty of channels for all nations who stay there.||The owner is a friendly and helpful person. My friend broke his leg on the 2nd of our trip on the slope and he was awesome. He helped out and got us to our pick up point on the last day as it was going to be a struggle with the gear. ||All the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. ||I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone I know who goes to verbier.
