Hotel Esmeralda

I was there from 28th of July till 3rd of Agust. I went with my sister and two friends all twenty something so our needs weren't too complicated, What we all liked was the fact that the hotel was really near both the center and the beach , which was great. What I personally liked was food, it was better than I expected, especially dinner which they kept on changing almost every day and we had lots of options. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels were changed and maids were really kind.||I expected to be noisy since I heard that many young people my age are coming to the place so I adjusted to the situation. ||One remark I have is lack of hair dryer, that took me by suprise, and how both hotel and the agency acted when it comes to our luggage on the last day in Lloret since we had to leave the rooms early and we left Lloret in the nighttime so were left an entire day without a room and on top of it very small space in which we were supposed to leave our luggage .||In general staff was nice and always eager to help, one female receptionist even was able to speak English on very decent level so that was awesome and with others instead I practiced my Spanish and that worked on many occasions.||Overall for that price it was ok giving my age group and priorities which were mostly related to the closeness of the beach which was accomplished.

Had a lovely time !! The Staff are so helpful, honest and happy (great with the kids - even teaching them Spanish). The rooms were basic but clean (perfect for us as I don't go on holiday to spend time in the room). Was worried before I got there about the food as our kids are really picky - but there was a great selection for everyone and no complaints from the kids. Great location for the beach and loads for the kids to do including watersports, arcades, mini fairground, shops (open to barter - kids loved this bit), restaurants, Water park. The hotel pool is nice and clean with plenty of room to sunbathe. Not that I advise people to do this but I left phones, passports and cash laying around in the room and none of it was moved or missing - which tells me how perfect and honest all the staff are - you wouldn't get that in England!! There was some noise at night from a few groups, but the staff were really quick to resolve the situation. Overall a really good holiday, fantastic time had. I don't usually go back to the same hotels, but we will certainly be going again next year for two weeks this time. I was a bit embarassed how some of the English holidaymakers were so rude and demanding. The staff are so genuinely helpful and happy. I was worried before I left about the safety of my children, but after seeing regular patrols by Spanish police, I felt extremely safe. Met some lovely English holidaymakers too. The only negative thing about the holiday was the transfer from the airport to the hotel, this was due to us being unsure which shuttle coach we had to get on (now I know you just come out of the airport and shuttle is directly across the road, will be easier next time). Would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to the staff and management of the Sun Beach Hotel for ensuring that we had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back next year !! Caroline Cox

After a week's stay at this hotel, I found it clean, The staff were exceptionally honest and very helpful, even though there was a language barrier. Food at all meal times catered for adults and children - a wide selection and a healthy diet (also vegetarian available). Any issues that we had (that were very small, the manager and the staff were extremely quick to resolve them). The rooms are basic but clean, the cleaning staff are very honest (we left phones, passports and cash laying about in the rooms and nothing was touched). I can't thank the staff and the management enough for all that they done to make our holiday enjoyable and complete. Even the kids cried when we had to leave. I would also like to say a special Thank you to the Manager and Pepito (the barman) for making my family feel so welcome. Thanks Guys see you next year (two weeks this time). Just because of the great, sincere reception at this hotel, I can rate this hotel as average. Everything else was much worse. It seems that the hotel owners manipulate the good location of the hotel - just three minutes to the sea and the main nightclubs. The hotel requires a full renovation as both common areas and rooms are in very poor condition. Beds are very awkward. It's hard to imagine how a couple of older elderly forms could rest in such a 140 cm wide bed ? Noise all the night, as the fun in the twn main street takes place from 22 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the morning. It became clear completely, because the residents of the room receive only one key card. It does not matter whether the room is single or quadruple. Understandably, those returning from the fun at night or early in the morning have to knock the roam door, raising the noise. This is a big problem. In the bathroom the toilet lid was broken. There was no extra daily soap, shower gel, shampoo.The food is uniform and cheap enough, often from frozen (fish) or canned products. It seems that many dishes are produced elsewhere. There was no soup. I did not understand, was not it possible to serve a cold spanish soup Gaspacho? Also, breakfast was missing a baked egg and fresh vegetables. We presented three people with a teenage daughter. We would not like to stay in a similar conditions hotel in the future. It is suitable only for young people who care about the fun, but not the comfort of the hotel.

The Hotel is located near the party location and the Beach. The Rooms are dirty and the air conditioner is not that good which causes a lot of sweaty nights. The all inclusive package is just a joke. You can Drink as much as you want but have to use a dirty cup they give you. Food is alright but not diverse and not recommended for vegans. Beside the main meal times you are only able to eat some cheap toasts witch cheese and cheap bacon. Outrageous for a 3-star hotel. The Pool is filled with salt water and there are cables sticking out walls of the pool. The chef acted weird when requested another room and refused to change them because „all rooms were Booked“ bull...! I can not recommend this Hotel for people that want to relax because of the youth that makes party every night.

The hotel made a great base for myself and a few friends celebrating a birthday. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and the pool area were clean as were the rooms. Although it was central to clubs, bars, beach and shops, it wasn't particularly noisy. I would definitely go to this hotel again.

This hotel is located in the best part of town for those who like nightlife. Within 200 meters there is the largest number of cafes and night clubs in the city. It is about 200 meters away from the beach. The pool was clean. Water in the pool is salty. The food was good. The staff was very friendly. It was nice at the hotel and even better in town. Enjoy

Not so bad hotel. Clean, but beds could be more comfortable. Food was good. I should say it is only for Youth not for families. There were some very noisy and rude young Germans at the time we had been there so we can not sleep almost every night.But the most popular and best of the bests were dear Manolo, One of the kind. Manolo, Manolo, Manolo, everybody likes you !!!
