Hôtel Esmeralda Resort - Orient Bay - Saint Martin

My wife and myself had a great 2 week stay and we loved every moment of it. Every day we would start with a very good breakfast most off the menu and than a day at the beach. We were both very happy to return to the resort for shade on the deck and a dip in the pool. The resort is beautiful and the staff at the resort are always warm and welcoming all with the greatest of smiles. After 3 years in a row it is more than a vacation it is a trip to relax and see family again, if your family had a beautiful home on the best part of the island. Also the rooms are comfortable and the bed is just wow.

I have been to The Esmeralda over 8 times since 2005 and I am planning to visit again soon. It is one of the most comfortable hotels in the Caribbean I have had the pleasure of staying in. When you first arrive the meeting is warm and welcoming, nothing over the top or spectacular just a nice smile, a pleasant hello and a review of the property. The suites themselves have all you would need to both relax and enjoy as well as do it economically. A comfortable Verandah to stay cool on and a pool right outside your door to jump into when it is hot Breakfast is served in the Astrolabe Restaurant poolside and is delicious, lunch at one of the beach restaurants nice and a special dinner at The Astrolabe Restaurant magnificent! I am missing it more and more as I type this! See you soon Esmeralda!

Great location. Our room was very nice-- high ceilings and spacious. It was 3 rooms attached but you couldn't hear the other people. Our room had sliding doors to a nice patio with table/chair and a pool that the 3 rooms shared. Just felt very nice and serene. Continental breakfast was included with ours - had pastries, bread, yogurt, coffee, fruit, juice and you could add additional on for extra (we did two days) but just that was enough really. Easy walk to beach -- we sat in the chairs at one or the places that it's included through the hotel one day (no charge) and it was easy to get seats. Walked Orient beach - nice place to walk. The front desk people were very helpful in giving us ideas of beaches/towns to walk around, restaurants, etc. We had a snack at one of the places we could walk to (Roasty's) but otherwise the restaurants were expensive and we had a car.

What a lovely property! I would go back in a heartbeat. The accommodations were comfortable, very welcoming and clean. We could hear the ocean waves and the walk was 6 minutes away on a pathway that was well kept. The pool and porch made the whole experience exceptional. The restaurant was outstanding with amazing breakfast all freshly prepared and I no words to say how delicious the dinners were. Surf and Turf Monday was fabulous. The duck and frog legs were exquisite and an amazing wine selection. I really didn’t want to leave. We will be back and we highly recommend this resort.

Very nice location. Easy to walk or drive to village for dinner or shopping and beaches. The pool outside our room was fabulous. The breakfast was excellent with such a nice wait staff. We had dinner at restaurant one night. It too was excellent

Everyone at the resort was helpful and provided good service. L'Astrolabe staff were so kind and the food was wonderful. The room was a good size but needed more comfortable seating inside and outside. Pool areas could have used umbrellas. Coco Beach was great.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned every day. The staff was competent and helpful. Continental breakfast was satisfying but could have added a few more choices for protein. Pool was clean and refreshing. Very easy access to Orient beach and KKO was excellent for beach service.

The French restaurant on site is exquisite. The beach front is reached with just a two minute walk. The pools are nice. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly and they work hard on making your stay memorable.
