"Swedish couple Mikael and Johanna Landström (who also own the Hotel Portixol in Palma) have transformed it from rather dusty traditional lodgings into a gleaming-fresh temple of Scandinavian chic. The bright and airy bedrooms—retro-cool with mid-century armchairs and fern-frond-printed wallpaper—have views either out to the water or to the terraced gardens behind, planted with olive trees, red geranium, and bougainvillea. And because there's no traffic, you really can fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping the shore. There's a kids' menu in the bistro, a family pool (and one for the grown-ups), baby bedding, highchairs, and cots all available, as well as junior treatments in the spa. And if you manage to get everyone to bed in time when you're back, make a beeline for one of the striped, nautical chairs on the terrace. Order a stiff gin and tonic and marvel as the sun drops straight between the cliffs and sets behind the bobbing boats." - Roxy Kavousi-Walker, Stephanie Rafanelli

Superb hotel in every way! This is our third stay here and it did not disappoint! Absolutely top notch from start to finish. Loved it ❤️||The staff, the interiors, the food, location, it’s all 10/10. Well done to all the staff for maintaining such a high standard for so many years, as the last time we came was 12 years ago and it’s just as good, if not better! ||Excellent ! One of my absolute favourite hotels anywhere ❤️

Fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff are all very serviceminded and kind. The rooms are nicely designed and very clean, the minibar is included and re-stocked every day. The breakfast is great, you may choose from a buffet or a la carte (two different restaurants). Very beautiful pool area, built on terraces. A children’s pool as well as a quiet adult pool. Amazing view from the hotel and a great location by the beach. Thank you Espléndido, I am looking forward to return!

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel for 5 days! The location is perfect right on the port and the view from our room was unbelievable. The photos don’t even do it justice. The gym was amazing and much larger than I expected with lots of equipment and places to do yoga. Every single night the maids came to our room with a fresh water bottle and baked snacks! The complimentary mini bar was also a lovely touch. The perfect romantic break 🫶

What an amazing jewel. The moment you step into the hotel, there is a sense of peacefulness and content. Every single one of the hotel staff was amazing. The food was very good as was the service. We had a terrace Seaview room that was amazing Great sunsets. Port Soller is a quaint little port/marina, full of great restaurants and bars. One of the most pleasant and relaxing vacations we have had. Please, do not miss out on renting boat to take out to visit the beautiful coastline.

We stayed here for 3 nights with a group of friends. It was to celebrate my 70th birthday, which is appropriate as the hotel is also 70.|We had a lovely room, with terrace and comfy outdoor seating, overlooking the sea.I loved the welcome bottle of wine, and the free mini bar which was restocked every day with 2 beers, coke and water. We were also given moreish chocolates. The breakfast was superb, with great service from friendly staff. I thought the yogurt was excellent, along with fruit, and eggs cooked to order.|I swam every day. There are 2 pools, one of which is heated, and the other infinity pool, has great views, even though it is a little chilly.|The hotel has an excellent location, with the beach just a few yards away, and lots of bars and restaurants within a few yards.

This hotel is located right on the boardwalk so you have views of the port and sea. The front desk staff was friendly and made us feel at home. Our room price included breakfast buffet which I highly recommend. Lots of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, they will make you eggs and bacon, granola and cereal bar, 5 types of fruit juices, the list goes on. Our room had views of the sea and had a large balcony. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent location overlooking the ocean and walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Spacious room. Loved the pool area which is built into the side of mountain and offers several "tiers" including an infinity pool with mesmerizing views of the ocean and mountains. The included breakfast was fantastic as were the facilities. Will definately be back!

Our stay was marred by two families who were there in July. While they drank or passed out, their boys would take over the pool screaming, fighting and bullying the other children. |Then come evening they would playing football outside the hotel until midnight so any attempt to have a meal or drink outside were ruined, not to mention relaxing on your terrace or balcony! |Some fellow British parents do not wish to actually parent their offspring. ||The room was a good size and the complimentary mini bar was a great addition. |However bathroom needed renovating as was rusty and dated. |The ventilation did not work at all so you cannot use the mirror and need to leave asap before you melt. The shower head could not be moved as it was jammed. ||For the price I would go elsewhere unless you can make use of the spa and adults only areas. |Helpful reception staff, in particular the American or Irish lady (I am not sure where she was from!).
