Hotel Euler

The location is really good. You will see the blue building once you come out from the railway station.However there are a few steps in front of the hotel, which make it a little bit inconvenient for travellers with heavy luggage. The room is spacious with the window overlooking the trains passing by. It is not a bit noisy when the window is closed though you may feel the vibration.The furniture is a bit old. The shower area is slippery, and so be careful when taking the shower.

Hotel Euler combines classic charm with modern rooms. The bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The bathroom is updated but very small. If you get a good rate, it’s worth it. Breakfast is overpriced for what you get, but the staff are friendly and helpful.

This is a cracking hotel just a stone’s throw from the station. ||It surpassed our expectations. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a classic hotel with all of the home comforts. We noticed that it’s used by Viking Holidays and it was nice to see a group enjoying the hotel too.||Reception and dining room staff were warm and welcoming.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms good size and lovely big bathroom with natural light. Coffee maker in the room and fresh water replenished every day. Great breakfast with excellent selection including batter to make your own waffles and a choice of fresh eggs cooked however you wish. Would definitely recommend including breakfast in your stay. Fresh water, fruit and sweets at reception every day. Staff very helpful to advise on transport etc.

I actually booked Hotel Metropol Basel and was assigned a room at Hotel Euler. The two hotels were connected inside. |My room faced the street, i.e. the tram station. It was loud but didn't bother me that much as I slept deeply during my stay. |Though the room was outdated, it was roomy and bright with two large windows. I liked that there was a safe, two bottled water in the fridge, a coffee machine. The bathroom was modern and spacious. |Unfortunately, the housekeeping employee came into my room 2 hours before my check-out time. She did knock the door but entered without wait. It was not professional.

Very nice hotel and close to the train station. It is very convenient to take the train to visit Switzerland or France or even Germany and it is a 1 min walk to the bus stop for the airport. The service was very good and the room was nice and clean. Highly recommended.

My Friend and I stayed at Euler and were very pleased w the accommodations. The gentleman n young lady at the front desk were super friendly and kind. Very professional! Both of them had Very Welcoming Smiles! Not all the people in the area of Basel were as welcoming. We would Recommend Euler Hotel in Basel highly. Wish we could have stayed longer! Nice hotel. Excellent location next the train station. Friendly staff, great beds, pillows and comforters. Will stay here again.

Decent size rooms with wonderful mattresses. The hotel is steps from the SBB train station and most of the city trams. Staff has been pleasant and helpful. I would recommend staying.
