Very nice hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Very European. I like. I'm from America and this has changed my perspective on how hotels should be like.

Absolutely not worth it. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It’s crazy loud, smells after smoke. Beats and music until the middle of the night. Rooms have seen better days. Shower was awful. Bathroom dirty as well. Unfriendly waitress at the breakfast table, no service oriented staff at the reception. We didn’t receive a refund or anything else after the complaint because “the hotel is famous for its piano bar” where they played loud disco music and no piano music at all. I really don’t understand any good reviews about this hotel unless you don’t expect anything nice of a hotel that wasn’t also so cheap either. Our parking space was taken as well. Breakfast to no standard of a “4 star hotel” (wonder how they got that). Definetely not recommended.

Booked last minute for the weekend so maybe we got unlucky with the room but still, not an enjoyable staying. The hotel is an old fashioned one and in agreement with other reviews not really a 4 star. Parking is also totally inconvenient. Also bedding is questionable and a kettle in the room wouldn’t be bad. Breakfast is decent enough and location is good. |Main issue is the piano bar which is a great initiative but given the old walls and doors keeps you awake till almost 3 am because of the loud music and vibrations (despite earplugs). We were at the 2nd floor, not sure the 3rd floor is better but for us very disappointing and tiring for 2 nights in a row with almost no sleep.

Hotel Europe Davos – A Disappointing Experience My stay at Hotel Europe Davos was unfortunately far from what I expected from a **four-star hotel**. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My experience was limited to the *reception* and the *SPA*, and both left much to be desired. The **spa experience** was particularly frustrating. 🧖‍♂️🚫 Despite reserving and paying extra for private sauna time, there were constant issues: - Uninvited guests in the sauna during my reserved slot. 🚪👥 - The sauna was cold and not properly prepared. ❄️🔥 - Dirty towels left on the floor by previous guests. 🧺🧼 - My reserved time was cut short, and I didn’t get the full experience I paid for. ⏳💸 To make matters worse, the reception staff was unhelpful and showed no willingness to assist. 🛎️😕 I felt like I was solely responsible for resolving every issue, with **no support or flexibility** from the hotel team. 🤷‍♂️🚫 In conclusion, the SPA does not deliver on its promises, and the overall service falls short of what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. 🏨❌ **2/5 stars ⭐⭐** – A beautiful location, but the experience was far from luxurious.

Great hotel Good sauna though must be booked in order to use at least 30 min before you want to use it. Sauna is a great dry sauna. Open from 2pm to 8pm there are 45 min slots available Nice gym Friendly lady at the desk

We stayed at Hotel Europe in Davos from January 2 to 5, 2025, and unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations for a 4-star hotel. Here is a detailed account of the issues we faced:| 1. Parking Inconvenience: While we were allowed to park in front of the hotel for 30 minutes to unload luggage and passengers, there was no long-term parking available. The recommended parking garage was full, leaving us to park at the Coop parking lot, which was a 10-minute walk away. This added unnecessary hassle to our arrival experience.| 2. Unpractical Room Allocation: We were given a room on the 4th floor with no elevator access. This was highly inconvenient as we were traveling with a 4-month-old baby and a stroller. Despite mentioning the age of our children during the reservation, this was not disclosed to us beforehand. Reception explained that the 4th floor was the only option to avoid noise from the piano bar, but this lack of transparency left us frustrated.| 3. Low-Quality Bedding: The pillows and duvet were of very poor quality, causing us to sweat excessively during the night. While we requested feather pillows the next day, the improvement was minimal. Additionally, the two queen beds pushed together created a gap, which was problematic for our 4-year-old sleeping in the middle. Reception eventually resolved this by adding a proper bed for our child and a cover to secure the beds, but this should have been addressed from the start.| 4. Lack of Dining Options: On our first night, when we asked reception about food options, they directed us to another hotel (Grischa) for quality dining, suggesting a lack of confidence in their own offerings.| 5. Bathroom Issues: The shower in our room had almost no water pressure, which made it unsuitable for a proper shower after skiing.| 6. Subpar Breakfast: The breakfast was extremely disappointing. It was reminiscent of a youth hostel rather than a 4-star hotel. Choices were limited, and if you arrived close to the closing time of 10 AM, options were almost nonexistent. For example, there was only one type of bread left. Ordered eggs took over 30 minutes to arrive and were poorly presented with little taste.| 7. Wellness Area Problems: The sauna required prior registration at reception, which was not communicated to us. The swimming pool temperature was far too cold (around 20°C), making it unpleasant for use, especially for families with children.| 8. Disappointing Customer Service: Upon checkout, the staff asked how our stay was. When I expressed that it was not to our satisfaction, they made no effort to inquire further or address any issues, clearly showing a lack of concern. To make matters worse, I requested the final bill to be sent via email, which they assured me would be done—but it never arrived. This lack of follow-through only solidified the impression of poor customer service.| 9. Positives: The hotel’s central location was convenient for exploring Davos. Additionally, as promised, we did not hear any noise from the piano bar, which was appreciated.||Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing and not reflective of a 4-star hotel experience. With so many issues—from poor facilities and service to lack of communication—Hotel Europe needs to significantly improve its offerings and customer care. For the price and rating, we expected much better. I would not recommend staying here until these problems are addressed.
