Hotel Eurosol Gouveia

The hotel was mostly deserted, when we arrived. Clean and with nice rooms, that seem to be from the 80s. Restaurant not working. Water pressure in the bathroom too low. Breakfast not too bad but not very nice either. The kind of place you can go back to if you need to spend a night or two in Gouveia but will not wish to pick for an holiday.

This place is fairly close to Serra da Estrela. Spent a night here during the Summer to attend a wedding close by. The hotel is a little old in its style and does not look that good, since it is quite dated. The front desk was very friendly. The room was ok, despite the old springy mattress and had AC. The bathroom was well maintained and clean overall. If you need a quiet affordable place to sleep only, this does the trick, but do not expect much, there is nothing here worth remembering.

The rates are low and the rooms match the rates. This is the only place in town, but I think another hotel was opening up. This hotel is old but not a bad place to stay. We were given a room with a balcony. The views of the country are beautiful. The beds not the best but it was ok. They offer continental breakfast which is a plus in my book. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. There is a restaurant on the street level of this hotel. I hear it is great but closed when we were hungry.

My husband and I stayed here two years ago. The hotel is clean, the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good with several choices of entrees..great wine selection. We enjoyed our time very much. Will most likely stay here again when I return in June 2019.

Very well placed hotel in the center of Gouveia, right next to the cinema, with a great view to the valley.|The stuff members were friendly and competent, the room wasn't very big and all the hotel seemed like its better times had passed. The breakfast was ok. The cleaniness was very good, so was the climatization. The restaurant is very recomendable as it is unexepensive, with great ambient and excelent food and stuff.|Overall, it was a good quality/price relation, and an enjoyable stay.|

Stayed over the weekend for a wedding. Hotel staff were wonderful and really polite. Hotel has very good conditions and you can park right next to it. Strongly recommend for anyone. Breakfast was included and it had plenty of choice

We spent the weekend in the Eurosol as a base to go playing in the snow in Serra da Estrela. This is the same a 3*** hotel where we stayed some 20 years ago and it didn’t change much. The facilities show sign of the times but are well kept and clean. Rooms are small but ok for a short staying. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is nice with an interesting menu and good quality food. Overall, an average hotel, no luxury but comfortable enough for 1-2 nights and inexpensive. Well located, right in the centre of Gouveia, a small village where not much happens.

This hotel is great the staff was at its best very professional room, super clean, definitely deserve five stars thank you to all the staff.
