Hotel Eurostars Lucentum

Great hotel close enough to all the amenities, very reasonable price, clean, friendly staff. It's not a five star hotel so don't expect it to be. Breakfast was included in our stay but I wouldn't pay extra for it as there are so many places close by to go with better views. We would stay there again

Everything about the stay should have been perfect . The lady in the reception was a wonder of service mindedness. The location is smack in the loop for all the sights and restaurants. 10 minute walk to the harbour, right across the street from the central market building . Close by is the parking garage which comes with a price deduction if staying at the hotel. The not so good part is the room. Although spacious and nice it is way too warm in the night. We hade to sleep without blankets and even then it was too warm. Temperature is regulated centrally so not possible to adjust per room. At least not in our room. Outside noice is quite annoying since the soundproofing in the windows is sub par. It did settle down after 3 a.m. The sound and the heat made the night sadly quite uncomfortable. I don’t think we will stay here again unless maybe we can get a room away from the street where we can open a window.

Stayed just the one night on a busy Saturday in central Alicante. Lovely big en-suite room with 3 beds, all looking modern and clean and worthy of its 4 star rating costing us a total of €232 euros so not a bad price. Staff all friendly and welcoming in this well kept city centre hotel

Stayed 4 days and the room key stopped working every single time we left the room. Each time we had to go down to reception and wait for it to be reactivated, which was really frustrating. When I asked for help, the receptionist simply said “you need to wait” with no explanation or attempt to solve the issue permanently.||Great location, but this constant inconvenience and lack of customer service really affected our stay.

Disappointing experience with Eurostars LucentumI tried to cancel my reservation more than three months in advance, but the hotel refused with no flexibility at all. Trip.com did their best to mediate, but the hotel insisted on keeping the booking. It’s disappointing that a hotel of this level shows so little understanding. I appreciate Trip.com’s effort, but my experience with Eurostars Lucentum was very disappointing.

Standard anonymous room with tiny towels no usb charging points no coffee maker just a kettle and only cold water for morning shower. No convenient parking - more of a 3 star tourist hotel.

The hotel was probably a mid-range hotel when built, but it is now a tired and shabby place. The rooms are worn, bathrooms and electrics need updating, road noise is intrusive and the staff is not multi-lingual. The included breakfast buffet was fine. Glad to be moving on.

Location is excellent, close to the train station and very close to the tram system. The market is right across the street and the beach is 5-10 minutes away. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was in need of a refresh, with several imperfections, and the elevator is frightening, making scraping noises as it goes up and down. The heating/air conditioning didn't really seem to kick in, but it was ok because the temperature outside was mild. There is a window that opened to the exterior to let a bit of fresh air in.
