This is a good hotel with the chance to be great if they cater to the details. We had a panoramic room and, as advertised, you have a 180 degree view of the lake. It's spectacular from that standpoint. The bathroom is tiny, but it's possible to work around that. Just pay attention to the view from the WC and you'll get over your claustrophobia! Where they fall down is with things like check in. With online preregistration, there's no excuse for a 20-minute check in. And while it's nice that they offer free coffee, popcorn, and candy in the lobby, those things were empty so often that it was just frustrating. The location is great within easy walk of the train station and right on the promenade. They just need to clean up some of the details.

This was hands down the best hotel of our 2 week long stay in Switzerland! The location is mind blowing and the view from the room overlooking Lake Geneva and the mountains is just fantastic. Rooms are quite big, with a nice table, desk, two chairs, cupboard, with space to keep bags too. Bathroom is small but well designed. The staff is also very helpful with a smile on their face. There is no AC nor a fan in the room, but because it’s lake facing, it was quite cool in the night. The railway station access is literally a stone’s throw, but through stairs up and down. There’s an elevator too but at a little distance away. The directions to use the elevator if required are very well explained on their website. The pier for the boat rides is also just a 2 mins walk away. One can just relax on their Sun deck or go down to the lake side and sit for hours! The buffet breakfast spread is also good. They have warm selection of food for vegetarians too which was rare to find in any of the Swiss hotels we stayed in during our stay! Fresh fruits, juice, choice of breads was also delicious.

The service is excellent, all staffs are very friendly and helpful to the guests, the location is good, close to the lake and station. We had a room with lake view, it’s amazing. The city is so beautiful, highly recommend to spend a few days here!

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are lovely and there are so many excellent free facilities: bicycles to enjoy the water front, SUPs, jacuzzi, free coffee machines and snacks in room and lobby. Would definitely stay again.

I had just finished the Via Alpina walk. The kind gentleman at the reception received “this slightly dirty traveler” graciously. I only requested a room with a bed but he gave me a beautiful room for a night’s stay with a lovely view. Many thanks!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay- the views, service and location was great- There were free bottles of water, drinks and snacks in the room, plus a bottle of Prosecco and welcome treat on arrival! They offer a lot of nice amenities, Free bikes, boat rentals, etc. It seems like it was once a 5 star hotel, but it's older now and more of a 3 Star- but all of the extra's and the service made up for that. The only issue we had was that the AC unit did not keep rooms cool at night as we visited during heat wave.

Not sure how this is 4 star. Very outdated hotel, the food is okay at best (often saw burned or undercooked breakfast items still being served) Dirty grout in bathrooms, peeling roof paint throughout the room, ripped and/stained sheets on beds. Even small things like my room was made up, but garbages and food dishes were not taken away, and after the first day the minibar was never refilled. No new glasses provided after old glasses were finally taken... We've been staying in 4 star hotels for 2 weeks throughout Switzerland and this was the lowest quality by far. With some renovations it could be better. The staff is fantastic overall (minus one rude interaction at breakfast) and definitely makes an attempt to make this a higher class place, but the rooms are sorely outdated. Edited to add: flying ants are currently swarming the building and housekeeping keeps opening windows when they come to change the rooms, so now they're in the rooms.

Had a wonderful time staying here recently. Nice large and spacious room with great view of the lake from both the windows and the balcony. Close to the centre of town and within walking distance of the main train station. Local bus stop close by as well. Great selection at breakfast and can be enjoyed from the outside terrace overlooking the lake, which was lovely. Nice to use the hotel hot tub and sauna after a busy day exploring. Loved the sweets and the popcorn machine! :D Would definitely stay here again.
