Hotel Everest

Hotel was cheap and location wise it is excellent. But the entrance to the hotel is inside an alley and is difficult to locate on the first go. The rooms were small and contested but very clean. Bathroom were clean. You could have a comfortable stay here. The staff was courteous and helpful. Although you can get room service but I found that this you just walk down the road for 5 mins, you will find a lot of options for dining. The complimentary breakfast menu was very limited. The AC in our room was old and falling apart. We had to call the staff everytime we needed to switch it off. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pocket friendly place to stay in a place like Colaba.

The room its self was neat and relatively clean although we couldn't open the windows because of pigeons. The bathroom smelled of urine and was very small.|The bed was clean and fairly comfortable. The cable TV and wifi worked well.|Outside was questionable easy walking to local attractions.|Couldn't fault the staff. Very friendly and helpful.

When I visited Hotel Everest in Colaba Mumbai, after Check-in I was asked to leave the Hotel and do the cancellation because they are not allowing male and female to stay together even we were not couples, they should have check it before our check-in in the Hotel. Second the charged 50% cancellation fee but after offering them 1000 Rupees as cash then they have taken the cash and after that only allowed for 100% refund from MMT. Worst experience ever had. They have taken all the inappropriate actions at the last moment when we don't have any other option left except leaving the Hotel and finding alternate solution , this wasted our whole Day. The Hotel was stinking very badly and the space was very less that even no third bed can be kept there as we have booked room for 3 people as we were in need of a third bed. Given one Room with common washroom, that was also buzy all teh time and very unhygenic. We have also booked for early check-in approx 6:30 AM with extra charge of 500 Rupees, that was also not available at the time of Check-in. They are just taking things very casually. This is degrading the Reputation of MMT , please remove this Hotel from MMT otherwise customers will not be having faith in MMT in future. Worst experience with the Hotel.

This hotel is located at one of the best places in Mumbai that is colaba .I had come to stay here for 3 days with a colleague for business work . We required taxi they arranged for us that moment with a good price . This hotel is perfect for a budget stay which has all amenities required in a hotel. Will recommend to stay at this hotel.

It was not my first impression on Indian hotel service - I live in the guesthouses in some places around India, but the price was about 300 rupees, so I was not expect too much from its conditions.||The room smelled bad, linen were torn and dirty, the floor was especially dirty in the bathroom, and hot water was absent. ||We arrived after midnight and we had neither the time nor the inclination to look for another accommodation.||The hotel manager was not polite and not treated respectfully to my venerable age; I had to wait five minutes until the man was talking on a mobile phone.||I really do not recommend even to approach this “hotel”

This place not worth the amount we pay, they are not cleaning the room in regular interval. The bathroom and toilet is not that much clean, they charge 2200 Rupees for deluxe room and 2000 for standard room with shared bathroom. If u want a good deal try to book room in online sites

Hotel location is good, 10-15 mins from gateway of India near Colaba. Buiding is very old, not looks good, lift available but very old. Service is average, rooms are small but good. They provide complementory breakfast. Transportation is good.

The hotel is worst in every state . The rooms are extremely small and dirty with very low ceiling. At first they denied to give us room and said us to stay in single rooms with common bathroom. I had to be rude and they managed to give us rooms with extreme dirt and bad condition. No water in the bathroom. Dinner was so cold and unfresh . Its not a hotel but a third class lodge.
