Hotel Evropa

Fine room, great location and okay breakfast But what’s going on with the water? 9,9€ for a half Liter, while you at the same time got lovely tap water - like seriously, why? 😅 Well, you can as my just tap water from the tap and don’t take the like warm 9,9€ bottle standing in the desk - one would think it could be a complimentary water, as their is a separate mini bar in the fridge, with (yes) cold water Enough of the water talk Location is perfect next to the station, decent quiet, WiFi works, and breakfast is for sure eatable although coffee is not the greatest I could stay here again

The staff is extremely hospitable and friendly here, just a superb service! Had very pleasant visit to town. Because the hotel is in downtown, parking situation is not ideal but hotel has parking lot available in the back, just might be inconvenient walk during inclement weather. Hotel is in great location for walking around the town though, with a few great restaurants very close by. My gripe is that room doors don't attenuate hallway noise at all and while bathrooms are not bad, they are also not 4* level.

The lighting in the rooms and the restaurant is very poor. The room itself is decent, but before handing it over, I would check if the previous guest used the toilet brush, so that no other customer experiences what I had to see. Additionally, the toilet seat came off when I tried to open it. It would be nice if the staff could find more joy in their work. The lack of an iron available for free is something I encountered for the first time. Breakfasts are decent, but the selection is quite limited.

The Europa Hotel is a fantastic hotel, set in a perfect location, the food is gorgeous, the service is tops and the staff are nothing short of brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there as EVERYTHING was perfect. Celja is a lovely city, set very close to a river, a train line, mountainous region, just a very picturesque area. Had a brilliant long walk around the whole area. I highly recommend the Europa for the best stay ever.

The staff are the star of the hotel, everyone is always ready to help and are skilled at their jobs! The breakast is very extensive and will get you all the way to your lunch easily. The sauna in the hotel is amazing, just the perfct temperature for a relaxing time! The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but have beautiful views and have soft beds. The only negative worth mention is that the elevator is a bit slow and makes some odd creaking noises.

Great hotel for an okay price! There's several good stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is nice, working swiftly and helps in case of any questions. We will come again! :)

We've only been to the restaurant. I was extremely disappointed. The dishes were very salty. The vegetarian main course lacked any kind of protein, making me starve after dinner. The dishes looked very nice but if you leave hungry, what the point?

The overall experience was great. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was great, very diversified and everything was of great quality.
