The only good thing about this hotel is location. Room not properly cleaned,. Towels missing one Day,No toilet rolls another day,The breakfast was hit and miss, The hot Breakfast always cold. Many tables each morning occupied by Computer nerds. Our upgraded room still looked very basic, The shower head was the size of a golf ball. We have stayed in better hotels for less, and lower in category. In my opinion over priced for what you get.

If you’re looking for the Soviet Bloc experience, this is your place. ||Good location (next to a Metro stop), low prices but still overpriced. ||The oddest rooms you will ever come across; an unintended time capsule of Eastern Bloc awfulness with very few upgrades since then. You will be scratching your head at the thoughtfulness that was neglected when designing this hotel. My room included two tiny rooms with an unnecessary wall separating them. Perhaps it was so that I would not disturb the sleeping Comrade as I watched the ancient, tiny CRT television over on the inconvenient room.||Breakfast? Ha ha ha!||Your execrable breakfast vittles are displayed prior to 7:00 am. That is also the time that Ukrainian hillbillies stand in line in order to deplete the breakfast offerings before any other guests awake. They are NEVER replenished. If you arrive at 8:00, your choices will be mostly beet salad and bulgar. The espresso machine has not worked since Brezhnev installed it. ||On the other hand, there is a fantastic Georgian restaurant for dinner a few doors away.

This hotel is middle-of-the-road. It's certainly not expensive to stay at, but you also don't get 5 star treatment. It's ok for what it is. The rooms are ok and I had one with a city view which was nice. The bed is good - except that in the 8 nights I was staying there the sheets were not changed once. Quiet - yes. Distance to railway station - close enough to walk. Distance to city centre - about 2 kms. It's not a bad walk, but Kiev has a few large hills to tackle. Overall I'd recommend this hotel on its value for money.

Good value for money. Don’t expect much, old school type hotel, eith basic amenities. Location is pretty good, just 10 min walk to centre and less to central railway station. Good Georgian restaurant just next. Quick checkin checkout. Very comfortable bed. From negatives - water in the shower might be hard to adjust as from boiling to slightly cold is 1-2mm tolerance on the handle.

This is a good standard 3 star hotel. The rooms are clean and on the higher floors you have a great view in all directions.|It is close but not too close to the main railway station (you can see it in the distance from the hotel) and it is opposite the botanical gardens and about 250 mtrs from a metro station|It is not centrally located for the tourist destinations, they are all a good 20 minute walk away and Kiev is very hilly but you could always use the metro nearby.|The hotel decor is pretty much soviet era very dark and functional, and the room TVs look like something from the 60’s.|Bathrooms are tiny, sitting on the loo with the sink literally over your lap!! However the shower was hot and strong (probably stronger than the shower cabinet)|Within two minutes walk on the same street, you have a very popular ethnic restaurant, a cafe also selling gorgeous chocolates and a bar selling equally gorgeous cider..|If you can cope with the long walk to the centre, then this is a fairly good place to stay. Hopefully management will spend a bit of money brightening the place up, replacing those antique TVs and improving the WiFi which is very hit and miss|

Hotel location is nice, rooms are nice although the window curtains in mine didn't cover the whole window so there was always some light coming through and it made sleeping a little harder. The breakfast buffet and dining room size are not proportional to the size of the hotel (16 floors, around 10 rooms per floor), so depending on the time, you would have nowhere to sit. Most of the reception staff didn't speak English.

Simple budget Soviet style hotel.||The hotel is within walking distance of both Central Station and Circus. But it is a great walk to both Maidan Square and the Old Town.||The hotel has a simple décor, the rooms are spartan decorated but air conditioned. A simple breakfast buffet is served on the top floor with a nice view of the city.||||The hotel is in need of renovation, including the balconies (see picture).

Stayed here 1 night.....what a mistake. The reception area is so dark but that only gives you a faint impression of whats to come. Whilst the staff are pleasant and helpful on reception and the bar restaurant off the reception area the breakfast staff on the 16th floor were so miserable. ||My room whilst clean was very bland. The bed linen was full of mites. As soon as I was on or nearly i could feel myself being attacked. Luckily there was a spare duvet which was clean off any infestation and a good night sleep was had. The vents on the aircon unit in the room was also broken and was unable to get any height on the shower as any catch to tight to hold shower head to any height was non existent. ||The menu in the room is for the restaurant on the 16th floor but there is no restaurant there as only serves breakfast. There is a advertisement in all lifts showing what you can expect from the buffet breakfast........that is a not what you get in reality. The fried eggs do make an appearance at some point but the rest of the what is shown is a false advertising.||The food served in the bar restaurant in lounge are is hot and fresh although the chicken kiev was well overcooked and the prices are on the steep side.||Wifi is pretty decent in public areas but in my room was very patchy or zero at best||The hotel in my view needs a complete modern upgrade
