"Overlooking the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles, all tents at Fairmont Mara have a private veranda. Game drives, an outdoor heated pool with bar, and massage tents are provided. Featuring four-poster beds, the spacious tents include a minibar and fan. Some have a private outdoor shower, while others have furniture on the veranda for al-fresco dining. From the moment we arrived at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose kindness and attentiveness made us feel right at home. Their hospitality was exceptional, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for every guest. One of the most touching moments was how they went above and beyond to organize a beautiful birthday surprise for my friend. The thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and heartfelt effort made the celebration truly special—it was the perfect blend of elegance and warmth, leaving us with memories to cherish forever. The property itself is breathtaking. Surrounded by lush greenery, serene landscapes, and the majestic backdrop of Mount Kenya, the hotel offers an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that instantly allows you to unwind. The interiors are just as stunning, beautifully blending comfort with luxury, making every corner picture-perfect. Although we only stayed for one night, it quickly became clear that it wasn’t nearly enough to enjoy all the charm and beauty that Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club has to offer. From the inviting ambiance to the seamless service, everything about our stay exceeded expectations. This is truly a destination where luxury meets nature, and where every detail is designed to make your experience unforgettable. I am already looking forward to returning soon for a longer stay. We spent our honeymoon at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club and it was one of the best trips of our lives. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. Everyone we met was warm and attentive, and it set the tone for a wonderful stay.||The real highlight was our guide, Moseka. He was knowledgeable, funny, and had an amazing eye for spotting animals. Each drive felt exciting and different, and he always managed to find the perfect spot for viewing. Beyond that, he made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun, like we were out exploring with a friend.||We stayed four nights and went on morning and afternoon game drives every day. Thanks to Moseka, each one felt unique and unforgettable. We also did the sunrise hot air balloon ride, which gave us incredible views of the Mara that we’ll never forget.||Back at camp, our tent overlooked the Mara River, and little touches from the staff made every day feel special. It was the perfect balance of adventure and comfort.||The Fairmont helped make our honeymoon unforgettable, and we’re especially grateful to Moseka for making the safaris so memorable. We’d recommend this experience to anyone, and if you get Moseka as your guide, you’re in for something truly special.

The Fairmont Mara Safari Club was an unforgettable experience, enhancing our 10th wedding anniversary. Hannah Gitau and Miriam Akhonya’s communication and attention to detail, along with the staff’s care, made our stay smooth. Charles and Eddie’s orientation was excellent.||Our room had a welcome message from Jackson and team, who kept it stocked and clean. We had a stunning view of hippos from our room. Staff recognized us by name in the lobby, and David at the bar knew our drink orders. Rose, our server, was attentive, and other staff like Shiko, Kilonzo, and James contributed to our experience.||Game drives with Alfred and Steve were highlights, spotting the Big Five and exceeding expectations. On our last day, Lamson and Steve made the drives exciting. William, Mary, Winny, and others made us feel like family.||We cherished the boma dinners and surprise celebrations. We hope the staff are recognized for their work and interns can join the team. Thank you for an amazing experience.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were among the friendliest and most welcoming we’ve ever encountered. The tents were luxurious, the food selection plentiful, and the setting simply perfect. Our guide, Dominic, was outstanding; extremely knowledgeable and instrumental in helping us experience some unforgettable wildlife encounters. We spent five days with him, and his perfectly tailored schedule made our trip exceptional. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Fairmont Mara.

Ms. Naomi, the masseuse, gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had—an absolute highlight of the trip! The food was delicious, with the chef going out of his way to prepare tasty Indian meals, which made us feel right at home. Housekeeping also deserves appreciation for keeping everything spotless and convenient, ensuring our stay was comfortable in every way. We truly had a once in a lifetime experience at the Fairmont Mara. The staff is amazing and they were so attentive and friendly. ||Ntaiya, our room steward, was a pleasure and kept our room so clean. I loved the warm water bottles at night. Special thanks to Shiko, Moses, and Charles, who made our stay extra special. The staff at the property really takes very good care of the guests.||The game drives with Dominic were amazing. He spotted a lot of wildlife even when they would be hidden within the bush. We also went on the bush walk with him and he shared a lot of interesting insights about the region, animals, plants, and the locals, and made our journey unforgettable. The food was very good. The Masai dances at dinner were fantastic. Everything was wonderful!||||The staff at the property really takes very good care of the guests.

Staying at this property was more than we ever could have imagined. It was the most memorable and amazing travel experience we have ever had. The staff was absolutely amazing - from check in to housekeeping to the dining and bar staff to those taking care of the grounds, they were all top notch. The food was delicious. Much of it grown in their own organic garden. The game drives were off the charts. Special shout out to Jeremiah who took us out every day. He is so knowledgeable and experienced. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. The “tents” that overlooked the river had every amenity anyone would need during their stay. I highly recommend this property for your safari to the Maasai Mara!
