Hotel Falun

Fabulous Hotel , Amazing breakfast, clean rooms, fantastic services, great price and location! I will be back! Highly recommend it!

The room and en suite were very clean, the bed comfortable with good quality linen, and there was a great shower with plenty of hot water.||We were surprised at the good selection at breakfast and felt it was incredibly good value all round. All the staff are to be congratulated. It is also very convenient for the town which is just a couple of minutes walk away.

A very nice hotel in the center of Falun, just a couple of minutes walk from the town center. The room was very clean with comfortable bed. Breakfast with very good selection. Helpfull and seviceminded personel. Parking lots close to the hotel.

Staffs are friendly. Good location near to the train station and restaurants! Room is clean. I love the breakfast very much! It make my days in Falun. Never forget this experience and such nice place in Sweden

The hotel is well located. It is very easy to arrive walking from the train station. ||The decoration makes the room very comfy and cozy. All the staff assisted me very kindly.||The breakfast offer was complete and interesting. ||I will repeat!

First of all, you get what you pay for. If you just want a room to sleep in and if you can drag yourself to another location for a spa treatment or whatever, then Hotel Falun is the place for you. You have the city, the train station and the university within walking distance.||||The room was small but clean and very comfortable. However, the shower was a bit too small so you can forget any romantic moments there. The breakfast was the wonderful. Given that it’s an STF hotel, I got more than I expected. The only downside was the coffee machine. I prefer freshly made but that’s just a bit of my Swedish “complaining for the sake of it” mentality, I suppose. ||As for the staff. Nothing at all to complain about. Extremely efficient and friendly even to the point of chasing me up the road to return my IPad which I had left on the table at breakfast,

Excellent no frills hotel, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, good service

This was a wonderful place to stay! I came to Falun to visit the Carl Larsson home, and found this to be very convenient spot to stay! An unassuming face to the hotel leads to a big surprise inside! Lovely welcoming interior, very kind staff, delicious breakfast, comfy and clean room! Coffee and snacks also available in the lobby were also a lovely touch. If you ever find yourself in Falun, I would highly recommend! Thank you for the lovely stay! Note - if you are traveling by local bus to the Carl Larsson home, the bus picks up right in front of the hotel on the same side of the street! Be sure to note departure times, as it doesn't run super frequently!
