Hotel Fariones

Back home in the UK after another fabulous 2 week family stay at the 5* Hotel Fariones. It was our 5th visit and each return is as fantastic as the next. We received a great welcome on our arrival from the Reception staff who all remembered us from our previous trips. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious for a couple with great maid service every day and the view of the pool and private beach from our balcony was absolutely wonderful. The Hotel grounds are beautiful and spotless. We cannot think of any negatives for this Hotel and the staff who work there. We would personally like to give a BIG thank you to Harriet, Emmanuel, Adrian, Mario and all of the other members of which there are too many to name of the Reception staff for all of their help during our stay. We would also like to personally give a BIG thank you to NIkki who we now regard as a friend, Gaspar for the wonderful omelettes, Armindor, Zenada and Pamela and again too many members of the Hotel staff to mention. Each and everyone was so attentive and welcoming to all of us.|The usual reserving of the sun loungers by the pool is irritating. One morning there were 36 towels on the unattended loungers before 9am! We fully understand that this is an issue out of control for the Hotel..it’s a shame that some guests don’t think of others.|Thank you ALL for our wonderful stay! “The family” as you refer to us had a fabulous stay and we look forward to coming back again next May.

Always our go to place for a relaxing holiday. It caters to our every need. Every person from reception bar/restaurant/cleaning/pool staff are so friendly and would do anything for you. The hotel is spotless and their Spa is amazing. This is our second time to this hotel and will be returning. We stayed 8 nights and never left the hotel. So relaxing.

The hotel is simply fantastic in every respect. I’ve stayed there several times already and would return at any time. Every little detail is just right. The service in particular is outstanding. I would especially like to highlight the girls from the pool, Clara and Silvie, as well as Marina from the restaurant. They make the stay a truly special experience. They are warm, friendly, absolutely attentive, and highly professional. Guests receive excellent recommendations, and small details and personal preferences are remembered

We recently stayed here for 10 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. From the moment we arrived at check-in to the moment we departed, the whole experience was fabulous. The staff were warm and attentive, the room was superb with a fabulous sea view and the general facilities in the hotel were second to none. The choice of food at the breakfast buffet was particularly excellent. We honestly couldn't find any fault with our stay and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Fabulous hotel! Bedrooms are spacious and well designed. Bathroom was smaller than expected with toilet right next to shower. Plenty delicious breakfast options. Gorgeous grounds - it's like a tropical paradise with countless plants and butterflies fluttering around. Staff are mostly friendly although there is a language barrier for some. Great location - hotel sits between two beaches and near lots of places to eat and drink.

Staff and hotel as always 5 stars.Arrived home yesterday and already booking for next year which will be our 5th year in succession.Only disappointment this year was a rise in the number of inconsiderate guests around whirlpools putting towels down from 8am and then disappearing to 11am / 12 noon .This area in previous years patrolled better but only a minor thing as there are plenty of sunbeds. Baggage staff , reception staff , restaurant staff , bar staff , pool staff etc are all an absolute credit to Hotel Fariones.If you are thinking about it and aware it’s costly compared to other accommodation on island but go ahead and book as you will not be disappointed and worth every penny .

Absolutely top class 5* hotel Staff, service, food, location are all absolutely first class. The management team and staff all work extremely hard to not only meet but exceed guests expectations. The grounds team and housekeeping team all work tirelessly to keep everywhere looking fresh and clean, the bed in our ocean view suite was one of the comfiest we've ever slept in. Its obviously not a cheap hotel and thats to be expected as its a 5* in every sense, we will definitely be back Thanks to all staff for a wonderful and memorable stay

Stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. Amazing hotel set in the most beautiful gardens. Wonderful staff Inc Silvia who attended the pool. Delicious food and drinks. Can’t wait to return in January for my birthday. X

This review is based solely on the large shop attached to the hotel. I have not stayed at the hotel. We were looking for some nice, authentic gifts to take home from our holiday. Our excursion to Timanfaya left little time for gift shopping but I had spied some nice volcanic/olivine jewellery, salt and Lanzaloe which I thought looked like decent items to take home. Unfortunately, all the shops we popped into in Puerto Del Carmen were full of the usual generic crap which neither of us were willing to buy. I had spied this shop the other day and noticed it looked like a mecca for local produce. Correct! A plethora of Lanzarote wine, jewellery, cosmetic/toiletry products etc awaits! We managed to get the 3 things we were looking for, plus hot Mojo Sauce from neighbouring Gran Canaria. Would highly recommend popping in here and taking home some decent gifts rather than the awful, run of the mill tat that almost all the other shops offer.

This so called 4 star is really a 3 star at best. She is living on pssed glories when she was the queen of the island. It is however still the best placed hotel in the area and the pool area is lovely and it has its own beach. The big let down to this place is it's about 20 years behind the times with no air con, a look of the early 80's about it and staff that don't smile but still expect a tip. It's a real shame as they are in a great spot but their still charging like their a 5 star. Best thing to do with this hotel is avoid it until their price goes down or the quility of the hotel goes up.
