Could have been a 5 star review but sadly only merited 3. Nice hotel in a great location near the marina and lots of bars and restaurants. Lovely common areas but the rooms, while clean and spacious, are in need of some care and attention. Also, the television stopped working, and while you don't go to a hotel to watch television it is nice to catch up with the news while you get ready in the morning and freshen up to go out for the evening. Furthermore the staff although generally pleasant were let down by the person on reception at the time of our departure who could not( or possibly could not be bothered to) arrange a taxi to the airport for us.

Having changed the dates of our original booking and received an email from the hotel acknowledging this, when we arrived at the hotel they had no record of this and I spent a very anxious 20 minutes trying to find the email from them as proof which I eventually found. We'd booked a standard double room and ended up in a premium as that's all they had left so it worked in our favour but it was very stressful.||The room is clean and the provisions are good - tea, coffee, bathroom complimentaries. The air conditioning is not great, set it at 21° for overnight and it switches off when it gets there, then stays off for so long. I've got up in the night really hot and it's been 24° in the room and I've had to fiddle with the aircon switch to make it come back on.||The bathroom has no hooks to hang anything on and no shelves to put anything on so you end up with all your own bottles all over the sink area.||The breakfast is really good with lots of choice and the view from the rooftop terrace is fabulous. We had dinner one evening and the service was slow and we felt more like an inconvenience because we hadn't booked beforehand. We also opted for the cheaper snacks menu rather than the €32 menu so that probably didn't help with us not receiving any real attention.||The hotel feels a bit cold and sterile. The entrance is quite far from the reception desk and no-one says hello or goodbye when you come and go (we've been here 5 days and not one member of the staff - except for one of the cleaners - has acknowledged us in all that time, apart from when we went to the desk to book the shuttle bus). None of the breakfast staff says hello or even looks at you. There is no character or personality - it's very clinical with no personal touches. The gym (I did use it) is quite good for a hotel although too warm - needs separate air conditioning units!||Wouldn't stay here again because it does just feel like a place to sleep. Feels like you literally pay your money and get a room to sleep in.

After reading reviews I was really unsure, but I can honestly say one of the best holidays I’ve had. Hotel is clean and really beautiful, rooms are really spacious and clean and have complementary bathroom basics and shampoo and conditioners. Only thing I would say it’s missing is a balcony :(||The breakfast is really good lots to choose from and champagne breakfast every morning if you choose till 10am.||No balcony’s on the rooms however the roof top bar and pool make up for this in spades a stunning and relaxing hotel .||Pool is small but really nice, and only about 13 loungers however you never need to queue in the mornings , it’s really not busy and I was here peak season .||Staff are super friendly also and attentive .||The hotel is central to everything it’s a step away from every place you could think of to eat and also has amazing views of the harbour .||Hotel also has a free bus to the private beach with parasols which is about 15 minutes away and is a great day out.||This is a very relaxed and stress free holiday so peaceful and quiet I would definitely recommend and I will be back my new favourite hotel and destination

All the amenities that you would expect fridge, TV, safe etc but just a hanging rail for clothes, no walk-in shower just a bath with a hand held attachment, table and chair (two would of been better). The room key is programmed so you just tap it in the lift and it automatically takes you to your floor, nice touch. Buffet breakfast has plenty of choice. The restaurant has a varied menu and is of a very good quality with knowledgeable and attentive staff. Our meals were excellent as was the suggested wine. The restaurant and bar is on the top floor which has great views across the marina and out to sea. It's close to the railway station and the old town which is worthy of a stroll.

Great hotel for a city break We stayed in June for 3 nights on a girl's trip. The room was very spacious and the hotel was based closer to the marina. We were able to walk to the old town. Lots of great places around for shopping and dinning. Breakfast was very good. They had everything we needed. The freshly squeezed orange juice was very much enjoyed during our stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed by its central location – wherever you’re heading in Faro, it’s generally no more than a six-minute walk. It’s ideal for exploring the city on foot. The standout feature for me was the rooftop restaurant and bar. The views over the sea are absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset – a perfect spot to unwind with a drink. Breakfast was another highlight: a fantastic spread with a huge variety of options, well presented and regularly replenished.Rooms are modern, spacious, and well designed, offering a comfortable stay. The gym looked well equipped, though I didn’t use it during my visit.Service was fine – polite and efficient, but very much in line with what I’ve come to expect in Portugal: functional, with no one particularly going out of their way.Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, modern hotel with a great location, excellent breakfast, and memorable views.

Very good hotel, well placed for everything in Faro, staff pleasant and very helpful, rooms ok, comfy beds good a/c, shower/bath bottom can be quite slippery. Very good breakfast it caters for everyone, rooftop pool and lounge area good. |My only problem was four drunken girls partying two doors away on my last night. |Staff apologised profusely for this. Otherwise 9/10

Good hotel just at the marina of Faro. Amazing view from the rooftop bar/restaurant. Breakfast nice but nothing special. Rooms mostly clean and taken care of while obviously aged. Sadly pile of hair found on the chair from previous occupant. Comfy bed, good AC and nice view. Parking available in direct vicinity at the marina. All in all pleasant stay.

Yelp
The views from the rooftop deck are the best in Faro. You can see the entire marina and watch planes land at the nearby airport. The service was great, the menu is extensive and the wine is exclusive. It's a tad bit expensive for the area but worth visiting for a drink.
