Hotel Fasano Belo Horizonte

We recently stayed at Fasano Belo Horizonte, and while the hotel has potential, our experience was a mix of highs and lows — with one standout highlight: Lidia. If it weren’t for her, our stay would have been a completely different story. She recommended incredible restaurants, curated amazing experiences for us, and even went out of her way to help us get a taxi when no one else could. She truly made us feel at home — Lidia is a star and deserves all the recognition in the world.||That said, coming from a hospitality background myself, I was surprised by a few things. The front office team, aside from Alice who was fantastic and helpful, struggled with English communication and professionalism. At one point, they even tried to charge us for breakfast — despite it being clearly included in our standard rate. It took both us and Lidia having to pull up the booking details to sort it out, which shouldn’t happen at a hotel of this caliber.||Housekeeping also had its moments — on our first night, a kind woman brought us extra water upon request, which we appreciated. But the next night, they attempted turndown service at 21:30 with quite a bit of noise, which felt a bit inconsiderate.||All in all, Lidia absolutely made our stay. Without her, we would’ve been lost. She is exceptional — and truly embodies what luxury hospitality should be.

The hotel is very centrally located in a very nice part of the city close to nice restaurants. The staff in general; at the entrance and restaurant are very friendly and accommodating. I would like to mention the concierge team, Lidia and Ramon as they have gone out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and happy through out our stay. They made sure every detail was planned and everything taken care of smoothly. We visited both Inhotim and Ouro Preto during our stay and all the organization was done by the hotel and we left very content.

The staff is absolutely fantastic and rated a 5, but the hotel is showing some age, especially with the furniture and carpets. Can't say enough about the staff, from the front desk and concierge, to the housekeeping, to the food service staff, all world class service and kindness, handling every situation with experience and care!!!

The perfect spot to relax, enjoy a delicious brunch, sip on creative cocktails, or indulge in a great dinner. A must-visit for any time of the day!

All people there are extremly nice, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was great. Rooms are comfortable and large. One of us enjoyed a relaxing massage. We can really recommend the hotel.

The Hotel Fasano in Belo Horizonte, with its inimitable style emblematic of the Fasano chain, sits elegantly within the city, a beacon of refined hospitality. The reception, graced by friendly and charming staff, occasionally speaking German, is a delight. The diversity among the staff is a refreshing sight, adding to the hotel’s charm; the presence of a receptionist adorned with numerous tattoos was a particularly cool touch.||The concierge service is exceedingly diligent and dedicated, a testament to the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. They provided us with complimentary concert tickets, allowing us to enjoy a splendid evening filled with music. The restaurant, known for its excellence, operates with impressive efficiency. The waitstaff are alert and provide exceptional service, though the presence of multiple restaurant managers, or Chefs de Service, occasionally obstructs the flow. While the cuisine is commendable, the breakfast service is notably slow.||The rooms are immaculate and spacious, offering a comfortable retreat. However, the lack of razors and the inconsistent replenishment of soap were minor inconveniences. Despite these small flaws, the hotel remains a magnificent and impressive establishment. Our stay was beautiful and restful, a testament to the high standards of the Fasano experience.

Pretty hotel in a nice neighborhood. My room was neat and I enjoyed the welcome bonbons. I stayed here overnight for meetings in Belo Horizonte. It was overall a good hotel for business but less nice and a tad less professional than other Fasanos. E.g., the person at reception asked me when “Mr. Moreno” was joining (there was no “Mr.” because obviously this was a business trip).

Located in a quiet and safe neighborhood where there are many small shops and restaurants. Nice modern design. Small pool on rooftop. Very good breakfast. ||||The rooms are nicely decorated and have a lot of space. I recommend the junior suite as they are even more spacious.||||Most staff members are really nice. They do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I had some small hiccups but I really appreciate their efforts to overcome these small issues. Some staff members do not speak English but you still can manage. Thanks to all the staff members and managers (Jessica, Lidia, Daniel etc.) who helped me have a great stay.
