Hotel Fenix

A nice and clean place to stay. Location is also very convenient. Close to a high street, bus station, there are restaurants/cafes few minutes walking distance away. There is AC in the rooms. I took one star only because it is a bit old and couple of small things may require refurbishment, but for its price is totally worth it!

The front end staff are very friendly. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely recommend to stay here.

It is a small hotel in a quiet area. Most of the receptionists are unfriendly. When asking to pay by card, the receptionist said the divise was broken and his colleague said some hours later the divise has been properly working all the time. You have to insist on a payment receipt to get one issued. Bathrooms can definitely be cleaned better.

Went with our besties to this hotel.|As my other reviews don't always think wat you read.|Hotel fenix is run down rude staff repetitive food etc... this is all false or people where expecting ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in a ⭐⭐⭐ hotel.|From start to finish the staff where so welcoming polite and always there to help.|Food- Breakfast was what it says full English cereal fruit bread pastries.|Lunch/Tea: never repetitive different every night and lunch.|Bar- 2bars and always quick service and friendly staff. Good measures on the spirits and beer was not watered as some hotels do.|The location is a bit back from the night life with a 15minute+ walk to the strip although lots of bars on way. Beach is right outside this hotel. |Great cocktail bar adjoined to the hotel and great pubs out including salt and pepper for bingo live bands

We were able to wiggle this stop into a very busy trip. Reservation was very smooth on booking.com and even though we arrived via bus past guaranteed check in our room was ready.||This place is an easy walk from the bus or train station. Reception is clean and bright. Staff speaks decent English. ||Our room was up 3 flights if stairs, and that was good as the party downstairs was loud. ||The room was good. Comfy bed, tv with plenty of English channels, nice shower. Everything very clean.||Really only downside is the smoke smell. Our "non smoking" room had an ashtray. Plus the smoke smell wafting up from downstairs was thick. ||A good value stay. I just wish it didn't smell so had.

Nice little hotel with friendly staff (one speaks some English and the other fluent). Excellent Aircon, clean bedroom and bathroom, parking outside. Good value for money. Breakfast not included but there is a good restaurant on site where we ate a good supper and then breakfast.

I wanted a straightforward place to stay within just a few minutes walk of the bus station and this place fitted the bill exactly. The restaurant was fine and my room had everything I needed; all in all, a perfectly good, functional hotel. It's an easy stroll up to the pedestrianised area of town but there was a good local feel to the actual neighbourhood of the hotel.

We stayed here twice, on our trip to and from Greece. Very clean place. Very friendly people. Quiet neighborhood. Parked in front. Restaurant is good, don't waste time walking around, they do a lot of local dishes and the cooking was better than expected.||One word about the tap water: never had such an enjoyable showering experience. Maybe the water is slightly acid?||Plan to see the Rila Monastery (should, IMHO; add 3-4 hours to your time budget, 6 if also going for the pyramids. They're on the same road but need 90 minutes of walking). It's reachable both from the old road and the new highway. The road to Rila takes you through some interesting villages along the valley of the Rilski river. Some eateries along the river have excellent trout.
