The property itself is beautiful with the gorgeous eye-catching pool and beautiful vegetation around it right in the center of the property. The rooms are basic with a small bathroom. Cleanliness is just okay. Being in the tropics you might have a few bugs here and there and generally the quality control and cleanliness is not very high here. I was majorly disappointed in the breakfast though. Online i had read that it's pretty good but when we there, there were a bunch of issues: we are vegetarians that don't eat eggs. The only options we had were very basic, low quality toast bread with a tiny hint of butter that was not nearly enough for four pieces of toast, some jam along with a bowl of packaged yogurt and six tiny pieces of fruit. Being on a tropical island I was hoping at least the fruit would be tropical but no - we got slices of cantaloupe, pineapple and bananas (2 tiny slices each). The service was pretty lackluster too. Tables weren't clean. When coffee cups were out, we had to remind them to get new ones and generally they were not very attentive. The location is pretty convenient. It's a short walk to the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are.

You can't beat the location for this hotel, close to many restaurants, but just far enough off the main road to stay quiet. One of the best amenities of this hotel is the large and beautiful pool. We enjoyed the pool on most days of our stay over the last 6 nights. Breakfast is only so-so as they bring items out to you, whether you want them or not. A small buffet breakfast would be preferred, and faster.

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet except when people arrive & depart with wheelie cases. Breakfast very nice. Staff are lovely. Great pool area with a bar. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Nice restaurant and cocktail variety just outside.

Very very limited breakfast for someone who doesn't eat eggs. Tiny fruit portion, slow breakfast service and limited bread. Location is great, but breakfast experience is below average.

This hotel has basic rooms which were nice and comfortable. The pool is amazing, and breakfast very good. It was helpful to have the potable water cooler provided so that we didn't have to buy bottled water. It is a short walk from the center of town which was very easy to manage. The lagoon nearby was closed for maintenance so we couldn't visit there. The hotel is an affordable and nice place to stay overall.

I’ve never given a bad review on here but unfortunately Hotel Fiesta was very disappointing. I booked a room and got emailed the final price including taxes. When I checked in I got charged $81.00 USD extra! Afterwards I realised this and as I was checking out I brought this up to the reception lady and she said that she had mistakenly charged us extra local taxes. Even though we were clearly from New Zealand! But she said there was nothing she could do about it (which she could all she needed to do was refund the $81.00) but instead to send an email to her manager to sort out. I have now sent 3 emails since then but have not had a reply. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest with their customers… at this point they are thieves for stealing money that isn’t theirs and not wanting to return it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! And also hotel looked nothing like the pictures in real life! Rooms were tiny, gross and old! Even if this hadn’t happened the real rooms are not worth the super expensive prices.

Hotel Fiesta is a great place to stay in Santa Cruz. We had a split room so our son was in one section while we slept in another. It offered nice privacy more than a traditional hotel room where beds are side by side. ||The pool area was spectacular! We enjoyed the large hot tubs and cocktails at the poolside bar. We felt completely safe walking firm the hotel to downtown. ||The staff was very accommodating. I would recommend Hotel Fiesta!

Excellent hotel! Staff great, location great, pool fantastic, agave restaurant 100 meters away was excellent. Rooms a bit spartan but never in them tbh. Helpful booking cabs. Away from touristy t shirt shops etc. very quiet. Great value.
