We spent 3 wonderful nights and days at Finca Fuente Techada. If you are looking for a very special place, where exquisite decor and attention to detail is catering for unforgettable guest wellbeing, this is the place for you. Thank you Alejandro and Christina for your authentic and warm welcome.

One of the most beautiful, peaceful, and unique places we have ever stayed! The interiors of the home are incredibly beautiful, yet Alejandro and Christina make you feel completely at home, like nothing is too precious. Christina went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, give reccomendations etc. highly recommended and would love to go back some day. The hotel is also very easy to get to from Madrid, which is a plus.

Wow! This finca was the highlight of our honeymoon. We wish we could have stayed for longer, and will definitely be returning. The owner Alejandro was extremely welcoming and accommodating, spending a long time showing us a map of nearby Segovia, and offering lots of recommendations. It was a pleasure to spend time with him as he is incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and nature. They have two beautiful dogs, and lots of lovely animals. The setting is absolutely stunning - so peaceful with glorious mountain views over the swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent. You must absolute come here!

Fuente Techada is a lovely place to spend a relaxing time away from the noise and stress of the city. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, with the added bonus a huge terrace from which we could enjoy the night sky. The breakfasts were incredibly delicious as were the home made cakes. Outside we spent time reading in the shade of garden accompanied by songs of the many wild birds which visit. There is also a nice pool and from the water or sun lounger, we could contemplate the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. We also made use of the hotel bikes to cycle around the surrounding area. The Finca itself is a great place but what makes it really stand out is the people. Alejandro, the owner, was friendly, knowledgable and charming and his team was always professional, kind and helpful. We felt at home as soon as we checked in and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The beautiful house, the infinite attention to detail, and the awesome surroundings are what make this place unique. It's full of activities like hiking, horseback riding, and exploring historical sites.||||Cristina and Alejandro have created a wonderful small hotel that feels like the best home you can possible have. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant to be in; the use of the old beams from a convent give a lot of character to many of the spaces, all of which have been carefully designed and decorated. The food is delicious, offering a homemade breakfast with farm-fresh eggs and baked goods. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable with great views. ||||Go if you can!

Finca Fuente Techada is one of the 'insider tips' in the centre of Spain: Only a hundred kilometres north of Madrid, in rural remoteness at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama, which cools wonderfully on summer nights, with a view of the Romanesque church tower of the small village of Sotosalbos, about two kilometres away. Behind the gate at the end of the earthy driveway passing freely grazing cows lies a haven of relaxed generosity, good taste and attentive hospitality, just like at a friends' house. The cordial hosts Cristina and Alejandro 'are there' and at the same time 'not there'. Not more than a handful of spacious rooms with exquisitely laundered beds. We stayed for about eleven days and would have liked to stay longer. Sun, shade, swimming pool, walks, plenty of impressive scenery, culture and gastronomy within a radius of no more than 2 to 40 kilometres - and if needed, a bit of 'finca office' in one of the lounges of the spacious house. We stayed in the hotel for three nights to visit the sights outside Madrid. This rural hotel is tastefully decorated and is warm and inviting as are its hosts Christina and Alejandro. Our room was upstairs was nicely, though simply, furnished with ample natural light, and a good sized bathroom with a large shower. I wasn't feeling well one night and our hosts put together dinner for us on short notice, even though they normally would like 12 hours. The breakfasts are delicious, with fresh fruit and eggs from the farm's chickens. It felt like we were guests at a home, rather than at a hotel. My favorite place to stay during our 3 week visit to Spain.

What a fantastic place this boutique hotel is and what wonderful people Cristina and Alejandro are! We stayed for several days and the experience could not have been any more pleasant. From the cozy rooms to the warmth of the fire, not only during dinner but also during breakfast, how decadent is that?, one feels treated like royalty. The views of the Sierra de Guadarrama are spectacular and the symphonic sounds from the pond at sunset add to the beauty of it all. Alejandro is more than willing to share with you his vast knowledge of the area and its history and recommend great outings, be them on bikes provided by them or on foot. You can also relax at the piano or bird watch at Alejandro's built hide. We can't wait to be back... soon!
