Firefly Boutique Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Firefly. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful, the rooms were spacious and very well kept and we appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. The location was perfect spot for proximity to the ski lifts as well as a short walk to many restaurants and shops. We couldn't be more pleased with the location. Ski lockers were great and the staff recommend a great rental shop that delivered and picked up our gear which was extremely convenient. Breakfast delivered to the room every morning was such a delicious treat and nice touch. We also loved the spa area - Outdoor jacuzzi and sauna were really great. We also loved grabbing a drink at the hotel bar every evening - such a great atmosphere and again, wonderful friendly staff. We will absolutely be back!!

Everything you could wish for in a Zermatt hotel… super location 300m from the Kleinmatterhorn lift station. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and quality crisp bedlinen. Balcony and well equipped kitchen area. Luxury of room service delicious breakfast ordered the evening before. Generous coffee & tea facilities topped up every day. Spa facilities second to none: pool, hot tub, steam rooms, sauna no better way of rejuvenating ski legs after a day on the slopes. And best of all The Firefly team… always smiling always helpful running the coolest cosiest bar (Bar 55) in the whole resort. We speak from experience of more than 30 years skiing in Zermatt. The last seven years in The Wonderful Firefly. See you next year!

Perfect place to enjoy Zermatt in winter time |The room is very good: lot of space for an hotel room. Comfortable, quiet, well located The plus is to have a kitchen in the room which allows to be confortable like at home.|Well appreciated the breakfast delivery in the room. |But what is really the top of the top is the spa/gym facilities. Amazing! |Whilst the room is 4 stars level, the spa/gym facilities deserves a 7 stars level! |And I will not forget to congratulate the personnel which are all so nice and so helpful. Thanks to all!|We will be back

The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, especially Chris and Alessandra. Nothing was ever a problem and they catered to every one of our dietary requirements, organised ski passes, recommended restaurants and booked our parking space. The suite was stunning and ideal for our family of 6 people. We are definitely coming back

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Firefly. Staff was helpful and very friendly and our room was fantastic! The view from our balcony was postcard worthy, the bedding was warm and comfortable, and the kitchenette was perfect for making a quick lunch when we didn’t feel like eating out. Special thanks to Christian at the front desk for some great recommendations for dinners and things to do. The hotel bar was also fantastic with great drinks and friendly, efficient bar staff. If you’re looking for a great hotel in Zermatt, there’s no need to look any further - book your stay at the Firefly now!

The absolute best stay I have ever had in all my years of travel! Never once did I feel disappointment in any aspect of Hotel Firefly. From the ease of booking through our final goodbye hugs, not an ounce of our stay could have been better. We were two families of four who have traveled together many times and were looking to have the feeling and level of accommodations of our own homes. The catch was, we also wanted access to all of the amenities of a hotel in a foreign country. Hotel Firefly delivered ten times over! Greeted by Tini who turned out to be the most gracious ambassador to the hotel and a truly special person, we were toured through the facility which had all we could have dreamed. Top notch saunas, pool, hot tub - with in house massages available - a chic wine cellar, heated ski room and the home of Bar 55. Bar 55 (insert swoon here)…which afforded us the best Apres Ski destination in all of Zermatt. Highlights of Bar 55? Photo opps to last all week, mocktails and cocktails to please absolutely anyone. The vibe, music, artistic details, lighting and the not too over or underdone design elements gave us the welcoming comforts while feeling like we were living in a magazine. It was a WOW. It’s unique, original, fun, whimsical and welcoming. Most importantly though, it’s warm and comfortable- just like being home. |Waking up to views of the Matterhorn and the delivery of the most delicious breakfast (including the set table at our time of choosing) spoiled us for life. Equipped with a gorgeous kitchen, cooking was an option, but not a necessity, and starting the day with a full breakfast including fresh squeezed juice and homemade jam (and everything in between) made us NEVER want to prepare breakfast on vacation again. Ever. Dining together in our comfy Firefly robes with a lit fire, breathtaking views from every window and the fact that we did zero clean up made the start of each vacation day better than we’ve ever had. We were spoiled rotten and loved it. |The art, furniture and lighting were sourced locally and clearly carefully curated. I assume the owners and their team were designing the spaces for themselves and didn’t leave out a single detail. |Hotel Firefly is one of a kind and a place that my family and friends were privileged to experience. I only wish there were more Hotel Firefly locations around the world!

Outstanding all round. Fantastic suites with everything you need. Breakfast in the room is a lovely time together as a family before hitting the slopes. Family loves the pool and spa to unwind at the end of the day. A massage with Matilda is a treat and highly recommended. All the people at Firefly are excellent - there to help with a smile at all times, whatever it might be. This is our 5th year and we wouldn't go anywhere else! Team Sandals
