Firefly Boutique Hotel

We had again an amazing experience here. The hotel was incredibly clean and every staff member we met was extremely friendly and attentive. The service was top-tier from start to finish. We especially loved having breakfast served in our suite — such a wonderful touch first thing in the morning! The spa area was very nice, quiet, and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a long winter day.|Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in a Panorama Suite as a family of 4. Both the kids had their own room which made them beyond happy. The suite (a VERY well kitted out apartment really) was incredibly spacious and incredibly comfortable. It was a great feeling to have so much room in a hotel! The pool is fantastic and the spa bath really great after a day walking in the alps. The bar was also fantastic with great service and loads of games. We enjoyed darts and table football. There was also a great looking pool table, pinball and arcade games too. Very welcoming with younger kids! The walk into town to find dinner was less than 10 minutes but there’s also enough in the kitchen to fix something up in the suite too! We even had a lovely view of the Matterhorn from our balcony! Couldn’t recommend Hotel Firefly enough. It’s really well run, brilliantly designed and so very relaxing.

My sister and I stayed at the Hotel Firefly in October 2025 for 4 nights, and it exceeded all our expectations. The hotel combines modern Alpine luxury with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The suites are spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculate. Having a kitchenette, comfortable living area, and balcony with mountain views made the stay feel luxurious. The location is excellent, central, with easy access to the Gornergrat railway, shops, restaurants, and walking paths. Overall, Hotel Firefly offers a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and excellent service. If we do come back to Zermatt again, my sister and I will most definitely be staying at Hotel Firefly.

My sister and I stayed at Hotel Firefly in October 2025 for five nights, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel combines modern Alpine luxury with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home.|The suites are exceptionally spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. Having a kitchenette, comfortable living area, and a balcony with mountain views made our stay very comfortable.|The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night.|The location is excellent, with easy access to the Gornergrat railway, shops, restaurants, and walking paths. |I would happily return to this Hotel if I do visit Zermatt again.

Overall a lovely hotel with a nice spa. The service was good. The only bugbear would be the fact that the breakfast had basically no vegan options despite being told on check in that they would be able to cater for this as long as we wrote it on the breakfast form (which we did both days). I would have gone to the coop on the first day if had I known but luckily pre empted this the for the next day.

We love the Firefly Hotel and the Firefly Family so much, that we continue to return, each time we visit beautiful Zermatt. The rooms are pristine, the service is top notch, and every amenity is at your full disposal. The swanky bar area feels like a cozy living room where friendships are made and you can often see the same people the following year…and pick right up where you left off. The staff is so in sync and always with a smile. We can’t wait to go back next year for our 4th time! Please make sure to stay here whether you are skiing, snowboarding, or simply looking for the perfect winter holiday!

This was probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in as a family, and we have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world. The hotel has a real heart and a great vibe which makes you feel very welcome. We loved the design of the hotel and rooms - think polish plaster walls, wire brushed floor boards, stone fireplace etc. We were very impressed by every detail: The room (incl. kitchen, private ensuites, fireplace, games console for kids), the location (a quiet spot that is a five minute walk from the Furi lift and view of the Matterhorn from our room) , the amenities (pool, spa, sauna, steam rooms, gym, ski room with heated lockers), the great vibe at the bar, and my personal favourite… the breakfast delivered to our table in time for getting kids ready for ski school, and cleaned up when you leave for the slopes. ||What stands out most about the firefly is their service, from the advice about where to ski to asking to open the spa early, to booking a dinner reservation, to the cleaners who were like cleaning ninjas and made everything so tidy with a group of 7 (they are in and out in 15 min which makes a difference when you have a little one home sick) everything was always on point and super easy. Everyone is super friendly and seems to really enjoy where they work. Michaela at the front desk was especially helpful with our kids! ||We are already thinking about when we can come back to the firefly, it was worth every moment. Overall great stay!!

I booked this Hotel online from the other side of the world and the team there responded quickly to my questions and gave me a lot of confidence and local information. Upon arrival everyone was super friendly, everything went seamlessly, and the room was spacious with great views and facilities. The bar downstairs is lively and the pool, spa and gym are all a nice touch. I did enjoy the branded towels and bath mats and the breakfast served in your room at a wide range of convenient times was awesome.
