Firefly Boutique Hotel

We just got back from an amazing vacation in Switzerland and can't say enough about our stay at Firefly hotel. From the moment we got there, our family was welcomed and made to feel right at home. The hotel is walkable from the train station but recommend their shuttle (Pink panther), especially if you have larger luggage, or tired from hiking, which we were and took the shuttle when we left. The hotel is a short walk to the main street, for shopping and food. We stayed in the deluxe suite for our family of three. It was perfect. Very clean and spacious. Beds were super comfortable and big sliding doors in the sitting area and main bedroom were nice and brought in cool air in the evening. We especially enjoyed having breakfast brought direct to our room every morning. And our daughter enjoyed the PlayStation at nighttime. I would 100% recommend this hotel. It checked every box.

We loved our week at Hotel Firefly. The Chalet Suite was perfect for us, spacious, clean, well-equipped (loved the plentiful supply of Nespresso pods), with super comfy beds and a stunning view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast served in our suite was delicious, the whole family loved the pool and jacuzzi, but the highlight esp for the teens was probably the amazing bar and games room. Alexandra and all the bar and reception staff were so helpful and hospitable. We had 6 fabulous days of alpine walks and exploration, enjoying the top class mountain restaurants that Zermatt has to offer. ||Firefly was a simply wonderful place to stay and relax and we hope to return before too long. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so memorable and special.

We had such a great stay! The hotel has a hot pink shuttle that picked us up from the train station. As soon as we walked into the hotel, we were welcomed by staff and given a tour of the gym, spa and room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast served in the room at the time of your choice every morning. The balcony was a good size for two people and had a great view of Zermatt. Overall we loved our stay here, favorite place we have stayed in Switzerland. We will be back!

Our recent stay at Hotel Firefly in Zermatt was, in a word, perfection. As soon as we stepped into our Skylight Loft, we were left completely speechless. The accommodation is a masterpiece of design—a breathtaking blend of artistic, modern flair and cozy, rustic charm that felt both luxurious and incredibly welcoming. The personal touches throughout the expansive suite made it feel like a bespoke sanctuary, and the spectacular, unobstructed views of the Matterhorn from our window were truly an unforgettable highlight.||Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The breakfast was a daily feast; everything is cooked to order, and the quality of the food is simply outstanding. It was the perfect start to our days of exploration. For relaxation, the hotel's spa facilities are beyond beautiful—an oasis of tranquility that feels both expansive and intimate. The pool and the invitingly hot jacuzzi are not only beautiful but are the perfect places to unwind after a day exploring.||The amenities are equally top-notch. The gym facilities are modern and well-equipped, making it easy to stay active. In the evening, the bar area was a unique and fun space with a fantastic atmosphere. ||Location-wise, Hotel Firefly offers the best of both worlds: it's conveniently close to the Matterhorn Paradise cable car yet wonderfully secluded from the main crowds of Zermatt, providing a quiet retreat. The quick, charming walk into town means you're never far from the action.||It’s rare to find a place that gets every single detail right, but Hotel Firefly has managed to do just that. We simply couldn't say enough positive things about our experience and are already dreaming of our return. This isn't just a hotel; it's a springboard for all the fun activities of Zermatt, yet at the same time a retreat for respite and relaxation.

We recently stayed at the Firefly while on a family trip with my mom and sisters. Mikala greeted us and let us know that they upgraded us to their very special penthouse - because she heard that our trip was a special trip for my mom to fulfill her dream of going to Switzerland. Mikala was so warm, welcoming, and excited to share in our joy at seeing the beautiful penthouse suite!! Our stay was the highlight of our trip! The staff, amenities, and overall vibe were perfection. The breakfast service in our room was delicious and decadent. And the gym, pool, and sauna facilities were top notch. My mom got a massage from a staff member and it was absolutely wonderful and personalized just for her. I cannot say enough good things about this adorable, cozy, welcoming, and beautiful hotel. I cannot wait to go back!!

Our family of 4 (kids 17&14) loved this place! Something for everyone. But let’s start with the service. Kind and gracious. We felt like we were in someone’s home who was happy and excited to have us. So friendly and attentive. |My kids loved the indoor pool and covered hot tub. We also made great use of the sauna and high end fitness facility. |At night we enjoyed the bar area, great bartenders and billiard room with foosball, pinball, dart board and pool/billiard table. And loved the cigar room as well. Moscow Mule was excellent :)|We stayed in room 10 a 3 bedroom suite that boasts a huge outdoor patio and yard. Perfect for a family of 4-6. There a huge living room which makes for a perfect place to host if you have more family members staying in the hotel.|Location is perfect. Only a 5-6 minute walk down to the town or up to the gondola. You will not be disappointed and I can’t wait to go back again.|Thank you for memorable stay

Hotel Firefly was amazing! Very clean, breakfast served to the rooms every morning, large and enjoyable spa included with the room, full bar with excellent drinks and pool table, and the view of Zermatt from our balcony was spectacular! We will definitely be back and staying here again!

Great hotel: rooms very spacious and well equipped; very good breakfast; helpful staff; amazing spa. However to be avoided if you are sensitive to noise: the bar is opened till 1am and the master bedrooms of the corner appartements overlook the bar entrance (and exit), plus the hotel is on the corner of two fairly busy streets. For the rest: absolutely perfect.
