Firefly Boutique Hotel

We stayed in a Panorama Suite as a family of 4. Both the kids had their own room which made them beyond happy. The suite (a VERY well kitted out apartment really) was incredibly spacious and incredibly comfortable. It was a great feeling to have so much room in a hotel! The pool is fantastic and the spa bath really great after a day walking in the alps. The bar was also fantastic with great service and loads of games. We enjoyed darts and table football. There was also a great looking pool table, pinball and arcade games too. Very welcoming with younger kids! The walk into town to find dinner was less than 10 minutes but there’s also enough in the kitchen to fix something up in the suite too! We even had a lovely view of the Matterhorn from our balcony! Couldn’t recommend Hotel Firefly enough. It’s really well run, brilliantly designed and so very relaxing.

We just got back from an amazing vacation in Switzerland and can't say enough about our stay at Firefly hotel. From the moment we got there, our family was welcomed and made to feel right at home. The hotel is walkable from the train station but recommend their shuttle (Pink panther), especially if you have larger luggage, or tired from hiking, which we were and took the shuttle when we left. The hotel is a short walk to the main street, for shopping and food. We stayed in the deluxe suite for our family of three. It was perfect. Very clean and spacious. Beds were super comfortable and big sliding doors in the sitting area and main bedroom were nice and brought in cool air in the evening. We especially enjoyed having breakfast brought direct to our room every morning. And our daughter enjoyed the PlayStation at nighttime. I would 100% recommend this hotel. It checked every box.

We loved our week at Hotel Firefly. The Chalet Suite was perfect for us, spacious, clean, well-equipped (loved the plentiful supply of Nespresso pods), with super comfy beds and a stunning view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast served in our suite was delicious, the whole family loved the pool and jacuzzi, but the highlight esp for the teens was probably the amazing bar and games room. Alexandra and all the bar and reception staff were so helpful and hospitable. We had 6 fabulous days of alpine walks and exploration, enjoying the top class mountain restaurants that Zermatt has to offer. ||Firefly was a simply wonderful place to stay and relax and we hope to return before too long. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so memorable and special.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!! Great location to the shopping and restaurants. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was honestly 5-star!! the food came to your room hot and tasty, and the morning pasty basket was amazing. Fitness center was spot on. I cannot say enough about the Firefly.

We had such a great stay! The hotel has a hot pink shuttle that picked us up from the train station. As soon as we walked into the hotel, we were welcomed by staff and given a tour of the gym, spa and room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast served in the room at the time of your choice every morning. The balcony was a good size for two people and had a great view of Zermatt. Overall we loved our stay here, favorite place we have stayed in Switzerland. We will be back!

Great hotel, pickup in the pink van at train station. Beautiful s3 bedroom suite with 2.5 baths working fireplace with wood provided daily. Breakfast was included and delivered to us at the time requested. Didn't get the opportunity to use space or pool but it looked amazing! Bar was great many different concoctions. Walkable to everything! Loved our stay

This hotel is top notch in every department. Beautiful, spacious rooms with amazing views over Zermatt or the Matterhorn and amazing facilities from the boat area to the 5 star spa. Not only that the staff are brilliant and could not be more helpful or accommodating. All in all an amazing experience- I would suggest anyone staying in Zermatt to book this hotel.

My husband and I came here for 3 days, luckily on day 2 we were able to see the Matterhorn, truly most incredible thing we’ve ever seen. On our train ride over I realized I never reached out to get transportation from the train to the hotel so I emailed them, assuming I wouldn’t get a quick response…they responded within 30 minutes of my email and confirmed transportation for us. They were waiting for us right when we stepped off the train. Everything was so easy with them! All of the staff were extremely happy and helpful. They provided a tour of the hotel, recommendations for restaurants and activities and the in room breakfast was delicious! They came each morning and set up breakfast in our room with a white table cloth, cutlery, and upon our return it was always cleaned and taken away. Can’t recommend Firefly enough! A must stay in Zermatt! We will definitely be back.
