Hotel Firenze Lugano

The location is very nice and the room was spacious and clean. I view from the terrace is amazing. The staff is very kind and service was excellent. I would recommend staying here, especially if you enjoy a more quiet location with a beautiful view.

Only stay here if you have no alternative.|We only stayed 1 night (luckily). It was too hot. No ac. Ants crawling over my body. The floor was broken. The towels looked like hand me downs from a charity and smelled disgusting. The breakfast was just sad, we went to a grocery store later for better food. Tables and floor sticky, again bugs and flies all over.

Beautiful, right near the lake with a restaurant and bar. Owner is lovely and takes great pride in making sure your stay is great.Why there’s 4 stars - location is a far walk from the downtown, and there were little ants in the room. It was great for us but if you can’t handle that this wouldn’t be for you.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place itself is beautiful, but what truly made it special were the lovely people working there. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome and cared for. Their kindness and hospitality turned our visit into an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel was very dirty. The towels smelled so bad couldn't use them. Old and very bad cushions. Not worth the price. Location and view was lovely

Man Who checked me in charged me 9 francs for a regular bottle of sparkling water The man after he saw my review complained I posted it. Said it’s normal Swiss pricing and that’s standard since he doesn’t charge a “coperto” at the restaurant so the price of water makes up for it. I did not have a meal at his restaurant I simply wanted water and he said there were no locations near by open to buy but that he would sell me one. I was staying in hotel not eating at restaurant. Charging me an expensive surcharge on drinking water in a hotel is very unprofessional. He should consider having water available for purchase for guests of the hotel with a more reasonable price since the bathrooms do not even have a cup to drink from faucets. Not even a 3 star experience.

I had an amazing experience there the staff was super helpful and the most nice I ve met. Such kind people can’t go unnoticed and need to be seen. Thanks a lot again it was a great time there and food 👏

family-type hotel, older building, but well-kept. Breakfast is a buffet, the cuisine is very tasty, a large selection of drinks. I really liked the terrace. The rooms are small but clean. There is a bus stop nearby and 7 minutes to the center. If you don't want to spend a lot for an overnight stay, this is a great place.
