Hôtel Fleur de Lys Plateau

My stay here in this hotel sorry I mean this motel is like a PRANK, big JOKE , I I wanted to change my place and picked this one , ohhhh my goooood, are you killing me? don't let the name fool you, don't believe the good reviews, This motel deserve a $20 per night not 80 or 70 or 100, it's a terrible, from where should I start!?:||1). I asked the receptionist for a nice view she made sure to give me the terrible view a room facing a construction, and a Geese and chicken noises 🐶🐕 in tin house below me||My reservation was prepaid they got paid more than what they are supposed to get for the city tax, I travel the world you can't steal me, but you did steale, good job, they steal MONEY CLAIMING ITS TAX, I KNOW HOW MUCH TAX YOU SUPPOSED TO GET , ITS IN MY RESERVATION, ONCE I CHECK IN I PAY a "SPECIFIC" AMOUNT NOT WHAT YOU WISH!? ||2) The room what a surprise hhhh , do not pay for any superior room they gave me a small room I paid for big one, no problem the size , but if you see the room and the bathroom, I will post pics for you, the room's smell was dirty and strong, I saw few weird insects in my bed, there was a damages in the room and the bathroom, the bathroom curtain was dirty and stained, the CURTAIN OH MY GOD, of course you get just one towel.||Are you serious? You need to close this motel , this motel logic nights rate is $20.15, not $100||The motel is located in the center of swap meet or the center of the city where the vendors are just in front of the motel or around , do not believe the good reviews look at the real pictures I took I never took pictures in the hotels but this one I have too, be cause I paid too much money and couldn't sleep due to the late and early morning constructkon, I tried to see the swimming pool it's in the surface or rooftop of the building the last floor I could t see anything , there was no single light I tried to use my phone flash light it was dark, scary , it's fake swimming pool I had to close the elevator and go down to my room quickly ...|| ******""The wifi doesn't excit I tried for hours no wifi, ||The shower no hot water, impossible it's just cold ******"""||Nightmare experience .. and the night stay rate is a joke , if you take breakfast in the last floor becareful it's all weak glass in the 13 or 14 floor

The hotel is not in a serene environment where one could easily go for a walk or run but the room was great and comfortable. Staff was great too. However, the key to my room failed almost all the time and I always had to go back 6 floors to reception to get it fixed. Breakfast was nice. There's a mini bar in-room but comes at an extra cost.

Fake fake fake reviews, every hour you will find 7 to 9 reviews at the same time with 5 stars, hhhhhh, it's the worst experience I ever had in my life, HORROR ONE. the price is crazy but once you get inside you will be shocked the shower was like abondoned shower for animals, the curtain stains bis insane, you will like you want to throw up, broken sinks, new paint at the top of old dirty paints, WEIRD SMALL charcol color insect 🐝 in bed and carpet, we call it animals insects, construction going on close to your windows , chicken and other animals and pet sounds around , Note no wifi, I was unable to connect , no secured internet with zero GB, Note no hot water I was shocked I tried to take a shower just cold water, Note the cold water 💦 it's just drops you have to wait to see when the water will be back Small broken closet with few drinks soda and water with high prices, They will charge you 12 dollar extra for your prepaid reservation and for your city tax, the extra 12 for them, for nothing just for them. The breakfast at the highest floor horror movies if you have chili don't go there, I have seen no families in any way No swimming pool it's just baquet of water in a dark highest flour, closed to be reached You will pau European prices for the most dirty products you can get , run away

its fine for a few days, expensive food and beer, Saint Louis Sun next door is good value and lovely eating area

I stayed at this hotel for work while in Dakar. The location is great and I enjoyed the hospitality provided. There is a great roof top bar and swimming pool where the view is just magical. You are 12 floors up and from there can see the ocean and sunrise and sunset. The restaurant is on the upper floors also and if you take your breakfast at sunrise the staff will come and open the window blinds (Windows are floor to ceiling) and you will see one of the most amazing sunrise's possible. The breakfast was nice and the staff are fantastic. I had to get a taxi on my first day there and the staff from reception came out front and negotiated the price with the driver for me so that I did not over pay which was very nice of them. The rooms are clean and comfortable and all in all I enjoyed my stay. The food and drinks are expensive as it is usually with most hotels. There are some great places to eat at near by if you want to go out to get a meal.

Good central location. Staff very friendly and professional. The rooftop restaurant/bar is okay, the 11th floor breakfast buffet is very comfortable, and both have excellent views over the city. Room was perfectly fine, cool, and somewhat insulated from the noise and hubbub of the city. Many attractions within easy to moderate walking distance, including the IFAN museum, Marché Kermel, and the ferries to Gorée Island. Art galleries and the top-quality bookstore down the street may also be of interest.

Fleur de Lys Plateau is a downtown hotel is a safe but not beautiful neighborhood. There are restaurants nearby along with a mosque less than 100 meters away ( some rooms might hear the call to prayer in the early morning but for me it was not too loud)|||| The lobby is a bit small, a little dark and needs an update. There is a doorman who will bargain for you if you'll needs a taxi. Check in/Check out was quick and friendly.||||The room was average size but dated. A big bottle of water was provided free. There was a safe and outlets near the bed. The internet was free and reliable. The bathroom had a rainshower. ||||Breakfast is served on the top floor. The selection was more of continental and the selection was limited. You can order eggs. A satisfying but average breakfast.||||Affiliated with the hotel is a travel agency operated by Hertz rent a car (around the corner but same owner as the hotel) which provides quality private tours which are pricey but well worth the money. If you get Pape as your tour guide, you won't regret it.||||All in all, not a bad hotel,comfortable rooms in a good location. The staff are friendly but only a few speak English.

I have been to Fleur de Lys Plateau twice now for business (one trip included a solo weekend in the city). Each time, the room was super clean and super comfy! The staff is very nice too! The workshop was very well organised, and the food enjoyable!||||One remark, would be the organization of the airport shuttles. You must absolutely do better on this. My colleagues were forgotten a few time, and now that the new airport is so far from the city, this is not at all ideal. Also, more flexible departure shuttle departure dates and available hotel taxis to get to the airport and back would be super!! (Though I did note the partnership with Hertz so...okok)!||||All in all, I feel really good at that hotel and I hope the feeling doesnt change!
