Hotel Flex

I stayed here with a group of friends over the weekend, and the hotel honestly exceeded our expectations. For the price, it’s an absolute gem. It’s only a short walk from Hiroshima Station, and while the rooms are compact, they’re spotless, comfortable, and have everything you need. There’s a kettle in the room and free drip coffee and tea downstairs, plus a complimentary plated breakfast each morning (toast, salad, a boiled egg, pickles, and free-flow hot and cold drinks). The riverside terrace is a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast or unwind during the day. The best part was how kind and accommodating the owner and staff were. Highly recommended!

This was a wonderful hotel, about a five-minute walk from Hiroshima Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast (although the same every day) was substantial. My room had a river view, which was very nice. ||The room was very small--not much longer than the bed. But the bed and pillow were comfortable. In many cases in Japan, the pillows are horrible, and I usually travel with one.

A wonderful river-side hotel a short walk from the station. A small family-run boutique hotel with a dedicated and attentive staff. Eating breakfast on the terrace, looking out of the river is relaxing and is a perfect start for your sightseeing in Hiroshima. All the sights are within walking distance.

I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Hotel Flex. I had a lovely view of the river and all amenities were supplied. The breakfast was really good and set us up for a day of sightseeing. Convenient location and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

I spent two nights here in a single room with a view over the river. The hotel is a little old, but perfectly comfortable, reasonable price, excellent location and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

The hotel is not the best. Rooms are pretty old, the building itself as well. It is pretty humid within the rooms. But in another hand the location is not bad and at walkable distance of all main interest points.

Great location. Walking distance from Hiroshima Station even with heavy luggage. It is a 20 minute walk to the castle and another 10 to the peace park. The room and toilet are small but clean. Bed and duvet were very comfortable. The cafe downstairs is very peaceful and has a great view. Guests get free hot drinks and juice in the morning at the lobby. We ordered the breakfast set and the corn soup was delicious. The frontdesk staff were very welcoming and approachable. Overall great value for price.

Pros: Close to train station. Generally clean on the surface. Cheap. Cons: Common air-conditioning system which was set to heating mode for my stay, old key, rooms are quite small, windows cannot be opened, don't look under the bed. Would actually give a 3.5 if I could. Had to sleep in my shorts because it was too warm and stuffy.
