I wasn't able to experience the hotel due to cancellation of all flights from Schiphol Airport. I communicated with Florida Rooms and I was informed that I could rebook, however, during booking there was no possibility of rebooking, refund or even some coulance. I had a bit of a rude experience at the front desk (in the top of the building).||I will NEVER book again at Florida Rooms.

Horrible experience, hard to find, the room smelt horrible like it was full of moisture, the roof had mould on it, the shower would flood very quickly and you have to step out and wait for the water to go down the drain before continuing. The air conditioning leaked as soon as it was turned on and ruined my passport. The worst part is when complaining to the staff about these issues they said they couldn’t do anything about it, no room relocation or refund or anything so we were stuck in this horrible hotel for 3 nights. The only positive was they booked us a taxi to get out

This 2-star hotel is based on a great location, very close to the Vatican and with a bus station right outside to talk you to the historic center. The metro station (Ottaviano) is 10-minutes away. The street is full of high end shopping choices and restaurants. Never felt afraid walking at night, as this is a good neighborhood. The Hotel itself is clean and the staff is very friendly.||However, the Hotel is very basic. It is on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of a very old building, with a dirty entrance and a very small elevator which makes it impossible to use with luggage. The "superior double room" was really small with 1 small closet and a small desk. The TV has a 15-inch LCD TV. The only blanket available was an IKEA single bed blanket. The bathroom was ok. There is NO free room WIFI, only at the reception (so basically, there is NO FREE WIFI). The room door provided no soundproofing at all (you can hear people walking outside). Only the Hotel can be paid via credit card (i.e the City-Tax had to paid in cash).||Overall and given its price, i would choose to stay elsewhere next time.

I stayed here on a work trip to Rome. The room was very clean and comfortable. Slept very well, lots of hot water for showers. It was everything I needed over the week. There is free wifi in the reception areas but I hardly used it. The area is amazing - many restaurants, cafés and shops. Castroni across the road is particularly good. Minutes from the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. Very close to the Shuttle bus to the airports Vatican stop. Really convenient. The staff were really lovely and very helpful, speaking very good English. The gate and door are closed at lunchtime and in the evenings from around 8.30pm but we never had any problem getting in. The rooms themselves could probably do with a lick of paint but overall no complaints.

Pros: Great location. Good price. Friendly Staff.||Cons: WiFi only at lobby. Hotel and facilities are aged. Small Room.||||It’s about 10 minutes’ walk from the major MTR station and train station (Termini station). There is a street market right in front of the hotel and in the morning you can buy fruits there at very good price. Besides, there is a sizable supermarket at the basement floor of Termini Station where you can buy food and drink as well as souvenirs like pasta and olive oil. I also bought pizza from this supermarket which is quite good. It’s within walking distance to Piazza della Repubblica and Santa Maria degli Angeli. You can easily take subway from Termini Station to Vatican (Ottaviano stop at Line A) and remember to dress appropriately for church (cover shoulders and knees). ||||Hotel is basic with aged facilities. The room I have is small but a quiet and safe place for a tourist. Staff iw friendly. WiFi is not available at the rooms but available at lobby. In short, this is a normal hotel at reasonable price.

The good: hotel Florida was clean, the air conditioning worked (when your key was plugged into the wall), the staff was very accommodating to our requests (checking in early, holding our bags the day after we checked out, printing our train tickets, and allowing us to change after check out while picking up our bags), and the location was excellent (approx a 10 minute walk either to the Vatican or to Saint Angelos Castle). ||The bad: you get what you pay for. The toilet ran the entire time. The shower head badly needed replacing (it sprayed mostly sideways all over the walls). WiFi is only available in the “common areas,” which you have to call the hotel staff to access between about 7PM-7AM (particularly troublesome if your phone only works with WiFi). ||Overall we wouldn’t stay there again, but it’s just not what we are looking for in accommodations. Perfectly fine for a night or two and has an excellent location for exploring Rome.

This little hotel tucked away in the shopping district of Prati was a really lovely find; the staff are pleasant and knowledgeable and, the managers/owners appear to be involved in many of the services the hotel offers. We have spent three nights here; the breakfast is great and Adrianna in the breakfast room was very helpful, catering to my special dietary requirements. The rooms are clean, well-maintained and bathrooms were reasonable. No issues to report whatsoever. The hotel is really central and there is easy access to many of what the Vatican has to offer.

This place has best location and is really cheap. You'll get exactly what you have been paying for. Service cleans everyday, but rooms are small, there was fungus in bathroom and you get only one key per room and it has to be left when leaving hotel. It is difficult to get inside - you have to call reception everytime. They offer 5 euro breakfast, but there are many better options nearby. They have wifi, but without range in rooms.
