Hotel Flúðir

Stayed here one night on our golden circle tour. Pleasant service and great rooms. We had a room adjacent to the inner plaza and could walk right up to the hot tub from our bathroom. We spotted the Aurora from the hot tubs. Bathrobes were available at the front desk.

Awesome hotel with very comfy rooms that feature everything you need, an incredibly good breakfast, very friendly staff, hot tubs included.

Fantastic hot tubs. Slept amazingly well in very comfortable beds. There was a huge new Samsung TV in the room. Everything looks new and fresh after renovations. The breakfast has a good selection. It did take a while to find the front door because of the map pins. Friendly staff who gave us advice on driving in the upcoming storm.

The rooms were great. Beds are a little hard for my liking but I only spent one night so can't complain. It has a large TV and access to hot tubs outside. There is a restaurant at the hotel but we did not eat there. Free breakfast included...who doesn't like free?

Honestly this place needs to updated given the price they were charging. The linens in our room seemed old along with the decor. Options were limited travelling the mid point on the golden circle, had i known better, I would had travelled back to Reykjavik. The breakfast was very good the following morning however. I did not take pictures!

We were here only for the night, just needed a place to sleep. The location is easily accessible and the hotel is really nice. The staff were also very warm and welcoming. I just felt that the rooms were a bit too warm. The breakfast was good with enough options.

Hotel is in a great location when you are doing the golden circle and exploring the area. The selling point is the hot tubs that can be assessed via the bathrooms of your room. The breakfast is poor quality and very basic. It could be a management change but there was no range of fresh bakery goods. I ate oats which I could have had at home. The restaurant portions are tiny, feel like they were child portions. I would consider returning in the future but I would avoid breakfast!

Great hotel! We stayed here during our first night in Iceland. Dinner menu was great and food was delicious. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal! Rooms with direct access to courtyard that has two soaking tubs at different temps (105F in the one we used). Recommend 100%
