Pros: The room is larger than in other hotels, offering plenty of space, lots of natural light, and a well-functioning air conditioner. The bed is very large and comfortable to sleep in. The pillows are one meter long but quite narrow—a size I’ve rarely encountered before. It’s a positive that the hotel provides parking. While we didn’t use the other facilities, the cleanliness was acceptable. However, it’s evident that the hotel’s prime years are well behind it. Renovation is badly needed. Don't believe the photos! Cons: The bathroom is open-plan, something I didn’t notice during the booking. The toilet has a glass door, and the shower only has a short screen, causing water to spill outside. The shower tray is made of flexible plastic (something I’ve never experienced before), which moves when you step on it. There’s also mold in the corners of the bathroom. The biggest surprise, though, was seeing that part of the wall plaster (around one square meter) had crumbled and fallen off. This is not something you’d expect from a three-star hotel! The breakfast was also disappointing compared to other three-star hotels.

Excellent location right by the beach and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and friendly. |Rooms were clean|Rooms were basic with no tea making facilities. Had to get kettle from reception for 10 euros (refundable)|To use the swimming pool/gym/beach you need your own towels|Smallest shower gel/shampoo sachets in the bathroom|Breakfast got a bit tiring towards the end of the stay|Thinnest walls between the rooms. Could hear everything being said next room

Stayed here November 2024.Great location near the town centre, staff were very friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast with omelette cooked to order. Ask for a room overlooking the pool it's a lot quieter than the street side.

Clean hotel and convenient for Torrevieja sea front. Basic room, comfy beds, some outside noise on a Fri/Sat night and no kettle, tea or coffee in rooms but there is a coffee machine in reception. I would stay again and recommend for cleanliness and convenience.

I met up with a friend and we stayed here for 1 night. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were super (despite other people's experiences). We booked a basic room but were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Our booking details (booked via Amimir) stated a check in time of 1pm but this was wrong - it's 2pm. I also missed out on a swim because I was informed that the pool was shut from 10th October but, on investigation as we were departing, the pool was still open. So communication could be improved. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wouldn't book this hotel again because it doesn't do what it says on the booking page. We booked a 5 day holiday with family with the hotel offering pool and bar facilities now with 2 days left of our hols they've closed them down for the winter. It's 26 degrees and we can't use the pool what a bloody liberty,.will never use Fontana Hotel again. PS reception staff were very rude and arrogant. Just asked to hire a ironing board and iron but they said they don't hire them even though they say they do on the facilities, on the way back to the room my wife saw a cockroach in the foyer.

Wonderful hotel with nice staff. Will come back. Perfect location in central city. Newly renovated pool area with good music blasting. Although lots of morning noise from the city, wouldn’t recommend for sensible visitors. Highly recommend

Staff not very helpful or friendly. We requested more pillows for our room. None ever provided. Felt like we were sharing a room with other guests, so noisy. Nothing was fone about that either. It is dilapidated and in need of a revamp. Not worth the money. Would not stay here again.
